Always excellent customer service and treatment by Dr Gupta! Thanks for getting my Leo in quickly and helping him get out pain. Alii is one of the only vet hospitals on island with an orthopedic surgeon on staff. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a comprehensive vet clinic.

I am forever thankful to Dr Gupta and his staff for being super accommodating and thorough in their diagnosis and treatment of my teacup Pomeranian Leia. She became very ill and hypoglycemic and was on the brink of the unthinkable. Dr Gupta quickly accommodated my baby and saved her life. The customer service is top notch and they have great hours. Will recommend this office to anyone looking for a fantastic veterinarian.

We are Forever grateful!!!to Alii animal hospital & Resort in kaka'ako...Our first time experience! The team is Extremely compassionate and accommodating!!!We recently took Our Sassy girl their for the first time due to growing concerns of her overall self yet she looks fine no visible injuries. few days go by, no signs of her getting better.....Long story short...thank u!!! to Dr. Sumeet Gupta🙏🤝🙌🤙⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️He and his team had examined her to find out their was a severe internal infection which needed an emergency surgery that day!!!We had no idea it was life or death and had we waited a few more days she may or may not have been with us today...We had no other choice but to do so,And for the surgery, it gone wellI can't express enough of my gratitude to Dr. Gupta and his team🌺As her recovery is still in progress but the progress I see in her. makes me feel she will have a quick recovery then expected, given the proper guidance and treatments provided! I had my 6lb dog's nails trimmed. The website says 27 but I paid 38. It seems the price for the Tech's time isn't included. That speaks volumes about the company. I am grateful it was just her nails.

Our first experience with Ali’i was a really good one. Their staff was friendly and courteous. And Dr Denzdell was compassionate and professional. And they were able to squeeze us in on the same day. They are open on weekends so you know you’re not going to have to pay any unnecessary boarding fees. Fortunately our Kitty was out the same day. And they did an excellent job. We would definitely recommend this place.

Very friendly staff, they were able to squeeze our cat in for an appointment very quickly. Wait times were not too bad. 4 stars because we felt pressured to buy everything they recommended- e.g. wet cat food we knew our cat would never eat. Luckily they have a good return policy.

Been taking my cats here for a while, and was pretty satisfied with service. Unfortunately had a bad experience, took my cats in for a check up and the following day both cats had ear mites. Vet refuses to take any responsibility.... can anyone tell me how do only the cats that went to the vet have issues and my other animals are perfectly fine, happy and healthy as can be.

We love Ali’i! We have been going here ever since we moved here 2+ years ago. We see the vet, groomer and even board our dog here when we go on vacation. He had to have surgery last year and it was a great experience as we were very nervous. When they board there are cameras in the room so you can keep an eye on your babies. The groomer has limited hours so you need to plan/schedule ahead but our dog always comes out with the best cut!

Unbelievably kind, attentive, thorough, and they actually listen to you and take the time to answer all of your questions. So glad to have found them, and to have my 14.5 year old lab in really good hands with his treatment plan. Dr. Rankin was amazing. All of the staff we interacted with was top notch friendly and professional. Truly the gold standard of what an amazing veterinary care experience should be.

Alii animal hospital is great! And they have two locations. Our little dog injured his leg and they were extremely accommodating in getting us an appointment right away. The staff members were very caring and gentle with my dog. They were responsive and quite helpful. This is a great place to bring your pet

This place is overrated.Yes, they offer a wide range of services but we could’ve gotten better pet care done closer to home and for less money.Alii wouldn’t let us into the building for our appointment. We were not allowed to tour the boarding facilities. After a few simple vaccine updates our bill was over $300 AND they expected full boarding payment upfront for our two dogs. Long story short, I wish we hadn’t wasted our time and money here.

Dr. Yasunaga is quite literally the best vet we’ve ever had. She is SO kind and always takes the best care of my baby girl. The entire staff is incredibly sweet and handle my anxious little dog so well. Each time we visit, wether it be routine check up or an emergency involving chocolate chip cookies, Dr. Y communicates so thoroughly with patience and sincerity following each step of my dog daughters care including price and why she recommends it. Absolutely love this place and would recommend it to everyone with fur babies.

Great professional service. Their shampoos & conditioners are amazing!! My fur babies are not only clean, but soft and smell wonderful too. All natural dog treats were winners with my dogs. Bandit and I moved out of town, but we're very well taken care of at Ali'i. He has anxiety issues, but the vet was very good with him. Great clinic, very happy with the service, would stay as a customer, but bandit will void himself in every way in the car, so we need to go someplace closer. Wonderful vet!

Joanna, Matt and their team are fantastic at what they do. Cost wise you can expect a premium on some things but this place is probably every animal owners dream. 24 hour hostpial, friendly staff, top notch equipment, thoughtful lodging and even a decent line of products.I also utilize their daycare service. Our pup always comes home happy and tired from a full day of playing, he never smells and they send pics and updates throughout the day.Great place to checkout and build a relationship

My first experience at taking my two pups at Alii Animal Hospital was for doggie daycare. Dr. Cook and the rest of the staff provided such great service that I decided to sign up for their VIP wellness plan. I was surprised that one of my pups was not afraid in going to the vet as Dr. Cook and her staff really makes my dog feel comfortable. And since my regular groomer is closed because of Covid 19 situation, I decided to try their grooming service. I'm so glad I could find a place that provides all these services in taking such good care of my pets. Thank you for your services.

Amazing experience! Dr. Cook was able to see our dog for a weekend urgent visit and treated her with compassion and expertise. We felt extremely lucky to come across such a great vet with awesome bedside manner and will be returning for our routine visits as well. Overall excellent care in a very modern and clean facility.

Parking at Kawaihae location is a little difficult. Staff more than make up for this. Appreciated Dr. Yasunaga taking the time and coming out to speak with me. Check up grooming all done ery well. They put my furbaby in a quiet room alone to settle down before starting. 👍

Got referred to Alii Animal by my dog trainer, brought my pup here when she was just 5 months old, and been here for the last 9 months, Alii Animal is hands down the best.Dr. Cook and Staff is so hospitable and very professional. We have a 6 month old Bull Terrier that we needed to board for two nights. In order to book a 2-night stay at Alii, our pup had to go through a health exam ($32) and a behavioral exam ($18). In order to book the appt for the health and behavorival exam we had to pay a non-refundable deposit of $32 that goes towards the cost of the two exams. Easy, right? No. When you arrive you are told you have to also pay for a flu shot (that requires a booster 4 weeks later) and a fecal test. All: about $155.We got a call 15 mins into the exam. Dr. Takiguchi informed us that she rarely sees this breed and that we may need to give our pup less treats because he may be approaching overweight status at 45 lbs (his breed typically weighs 60 lbs for adult males). 10 mins later, she calls back. Looks like our pup shows no signs of aggression, however, after playing with other dogs and then taken into a suite, our pup wouldn't stop barking. Dr. Takiguchi recommended A) our pup take anti-anxiety meds and come for another behavioral exam or B) not board with Alii until he's older...We picked up our dog, refused the anti-anxiety meds, and Alii has yet to send me an invoice but charged me $95 (they couldn't get a fecal sample.)

Alii is the PCP for my senior dog, Pookie.Expensive but cheaper than back home in WA (worth every penny for Pookie though).
