It was a good visit. Had everything i wanted and more. Had their Halloween displays up so i spent $20 on chocolate, but that's what happens when you go shopping hungry. Overall, i think they are doing a great job in these unprecedented and difficult times. Thumbs up DG.

Dollar general wait is typically not long. The store is typically clean.Some days the cashier is slow but she's a much older person so that's understandable.

This store has just went through a major & much needed overhaul. Before it was rat infested and aisles were impassable because nothing was hardly kept stocked. Now, the new Management & Sales Associates are EXCELLENT, extremely helpful and it's improving every time I shop there!

I understand that cashiers and managers have bad days, but everyday?? None of the Dollar Generals that I have been to lately has friendly employees. They all act like they hate being at work and they hate their customers. It's ridiculous.

I love DG but my nearest neighborhood DG where I shop. The carts are located outside at the end of the building opposite of the entrance I'm 72 yrs old it's so frustrating. The doors are so heavy I can hardly open them. Things for us Seniors need to change. Thanks

I rated the customer service at 5 stars, but the way these young ladies in this store has to work under these conditions is so sad... When I say they have very little help to keep this store going stock is setting pile high everywhere in there which is a Hazard trap ...One is trying to take care of customers and the other One is trying to clean up and do put backs along with stock ... It should be against the law to work folks like that I love the service in this store the ladies are so sweet BUT they are working to hard for I am sure no money ,but they are trying to pay bills like we all... The owners of this company should be ashamed if they would only go work in just one of there stores. In work for a couple of hours they wouldn't make it!!!... I pray one day that we would care about one another more ...

Some Dollar general stores are better stocked than others. The reason I think, is they keep a good selection of merchandise that goes quickly. The best way to shop regularly is find out what days their new merchandise comes in and then go in on those days. Great prices and they also has markdown shelves with lots of reduced prices.

This stores aisles are always jammed packed with unstocked merchandise packed on nearly all the aisles and you absolutely cannot get down any of the aisles making it very aggravating. It's been this way for months on end now and nothing is done about it.I feel really bad for what employees that do work here they need help beyond badly at this location.

Friendly employees, but the hours are never stable. You may go in one night and they'll be open until 11:00 at night, then go back three days later and realize that they've closed at 10:00 p.m! You go back a day or two later and again, they're open an hour later! It's never consistent. I actually went a few nights ago, it was 9:58 p.m. (keep in mind that the last time I was here, they were open until 11:00 p.m. Even an employee told me they'd be staying open later.) and the doors were locked with a hand-written sign on the door stating that they closed at 10:00 p.m. How insane is that? The whole thing just seems sketchy to me. If they close at a certain time, that's fine. It's not a 24/hour store. However they do need consistent schedules so that people aren't mislead or wasting their time. For that reason, Dollar General is an on the way to work, last resort.

I purchased 5 items on the Buy 5 Save $5 and when I got to the register I asked the worker about it and she went to go check it. So I walked back there too. She called the manager to the register and told her about it and the manager said that those were old signs that suppose to been taken down but I thought the customer was suppose to be honored whatever the price is showing. But after I left I guess the manager went to take those tabs down.

I really like this Dollar General. The employees are very helpful and nice (especially the lady manager!), and this Dollar General has a better selection of decorations for your home. The only grip I guess I would have about this Dollar General is the store is always cluttered with boxes and such in the aisles, but that is not enough to lower my rating.

Convenient, quick stuff you eont have to go to Walmart or a big market for. I would say organization could be better but as a former employee, the way things are ordered, it's impossible to put everything up and neat in a weekend's time before pulling the shelf and restocking every week. (Corporate issue of poor planning)

Thanks for putting in NEW "FRIENDLY" STAFF!!!! Not only is it a convenient place to shop, it is now such a "PLEASANT" place to shop!!!! I'm in and out of this store now at least 3 times a week and I love using my digital coupons while shopping here!!!!Now just get those "POTHOLES" in the parking lot repaired and the shopping experience will be COMPLETE!!!!! This is one of the WORST Dollar Generals that I have ever been in and, I have worked in several! The store is gross and, the employees are just as bad. I had my daughter dump the water out of her rain boots before we ever entered the store so that she wouldn't wet the floor, the employee watched us do this and, still continued to follow us around the store, staring at her rain boots the whole time.She was extremely rude to us at the register when we asked for a price check stating,"Look, the price is on it!" and, when we asked about a sale going on she said,"No, don't nothing come off at the end!" I could clearly see that there was a tag on it, I just didn't know if it was part of the sale.So, thank you for blessing us with your disgusting attitude!If you do not like your job, please quit.There is no reason to have an attitude with someone who did absolutely NOTHING to you.Had my sister not need the items, I would have sat the whole lot on your register and left.

Dollar General was a good business to patronize. However, your prices have become congruent to that of a convenience store. You have lost your vision for your customers. Also, you have made it hard to navigate through. There's always clutter everywhere and now it is so claustrophobic, it sends your customers into panic attacks. You really need to address these issues.

Awesome place to shop. Competitive prices but make sure you compare prices if you're a thrifty shopper. Also don't forget to download the DG app for coupons and check your receipt at the bottom they have a coupon for $5 if you spend $25 on the Saturday following your purchase. It's worth it to save the money!

The isles were being blocked by carts with stock on it, but a lot of the shelves were empty. Employees didn't speak to customers even when asked a question. Guy at cash register was way out of dress code and was eating and drinking while checking out customers.

Not the lowest prices but very convenient when you run out of one or two things & don't feel up to major shopping at Walmart or Kroger. Cashiers are always friendly. Oh, and they accept food stamps, which is handy.

Dollar General has very good prices and avoid selection. They have both name brand and store brand products that offer a savings. Quick in and out service when in a hurry.

I like this Dollar General because the employees at DG prolly the toughest on planet earth !!!Great work employees !!!No matter how few employees that corporate office cuts from the work force these people are smiling and toughing it out. SHAME ON THE "dg corporate "OFFICE. Hire a full time cashier and a stock person NOT one in the same.

It is the Employees that you'll took from Jamestown store...We all Love them and y'all had to move them 15 miles from my home,but I go just so I can see them....Store in Jamestown going down fast...I saw an employees Husbamd putting the truck up.....Please bring them back...

The store itself was filthy and there were carts stacked with products blocking up almost every isle. It was ridiculous. The staff yelling across the store at the vendors and playing around while the 1 cashier done everything she could to handle the line that was halfway back thru the store. I WON'T be visiting this store again!
