Best fried chicken EVER!... visiting from out of state, I tried calling ahead but couldn't get through - I ordered a 50 piece pack of chicken. The young lady at the deli did not hesitate. She said it'd take about 30 mi minutes, she would need to wash, season, flour, then fry the chicken. I apologized and told her that'd be no problem. Sure enough, she got it done in a timely manner, and I was on my way.AND --- what a nice, big grocery store!

Prices on meat is pretty good. Ground beef for $1.99/ pound, and I picked up 5 Ribeyes, that were just the right size for dinner, for only $20!! It's hard to get those prices anywhere else these days. I feel like I got my money's worth rather than spending $75 and walking out with 2 bags. They also had 24 packs of water for $1.99 each if you spent $50 on the same transaction. I will definitely be back!

Rude! Decided to go to in to grab a quick item, it was close to closing time and there werefive employees just standing at the front doing nothing but one young lady decides to loudly say, "Why yall wanna come here right before we close"... I looked at her but kept going to grab my item, went to check out & lucky me, lil miss blondie attitude is my cashier, she doesnt say a word, rings me up and I pay... she then grabs the receipt and throws it at me! I didnt pick it up & walked towards the door, told the young man bringing in carts that some people feel the need to be rude instead of doing their job! He agreed... I'll take my money to Food Lion for now on!!! Cheaper & nive people

It’s never over crowed (when I have been anyway) convenient, clean, the staff is helpful on the floor.. not ever cashier but I have seen 1 that was rude (maybe she was just having a bad day) work on your ppl skills honey, you know who you are..

Was fine. Needed to grab a few things before I headed home and stopped at Food World to pick up what was needed for dinner that night and as usually had everything I needed and was in and out in like 20 mins. Of course I ended up purchasing more items than I had planned, but the prices for the extra items I picked up only put me about $20 over what I had anticipated on spending and I was fine with that.

It has anything you could want. Prices are second lowest only to Walmart. Sales are usually really good. The business has good outside lights for night. It is located on the edge of town which means no trips all the way in town for anyone nearby.

Honestly Food World in Vidalia Ga. Really needs to work on there Customer Service. Some of the Cashiers are just Down Right Unsocialable!!! I would just as soon you guys go to getting rid of the Rude Cashiers and Let Me do it Myself!!!

Not a great selection, not a great value, but it’s convenient not to have to drive across town for Walmart. Store is clearly older, but they keep it pretty clean, which is sometimes a problem with smaller stores. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Never have to wait to check out.

I get tired of the cashiers with sorry looks on their faces that seldom greet the customer with a smile. They act annoyed that you're even there. The exception to this is rare. I've gotten to where I drive the extra mile to Food Lion. Always greeted with a smile. A pleasure to shop there.

LOVE that they have things that I can’t find in any other stores! LOVE that they have Boar’s Head meat and cheese! HOWEVER, I asked for hickory smoked ham and got honey baked and the lady at the deli getting my order seemed a lot less than thrilled with her job and being there at all to put it gently. That was $10 for something I didn’t want and had ice cream in the car so couldn’t go back. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Next time I’ll make SURE before I leave.

They look at and don't ask if they can help.I don't no the young black boy name but he was nice enough to ask me if I need some help. One day I seen this elderly white lady pushing the cart out and putting her groceries in the truck that was sad....

Good food quality, always someone to help up you find items, if you are handicapped, they will bring it for you. Prices and specials are great, on my budget they have great bargains, look for reductions in price. Riding carts for those who actually need them.Shop there.

Prices are not fantastic on most general things I looked for. For a "larger" grocery store there were really not a wide variety of items, I couldn't even find an unsweet container for prepared tea. The isles were stocked to him with the items they DO have. So I can only assume that they don't carry healthier versions of certain things.It's not a 1st go to for me, but might work if you are looking for a mega-convenience store environment.
