I have been using this pharmacy for years and have never had any issues till now. My doctor faxed my prescription on Monday 10/9/23. Normally I will get a text/call telling me that it’s ready the same day or the next. When I didn’t hear from you I started calling on 10/11/23 to see if it was ready. I was told it had to be ordered. I called back every day to check on the status and every day I was told the same thing “ it had to be ordered. I called Tuesday 10/17/23 and at this time I was told that my insurance wouldn’t cover it, I said that is fine I will pay for it. The nice young lady who I spoke to said it would be ordered that day and be in the next day 10/18/23. So when I didn’t hear from them I call that afternoon after 2:00 and was again told that it would need to be ordered, I explained that it had been over a week and I needed this to be able to put on my incision from a surgery I had. I even explained that I agreed to pay out of pocket for it. The gentleman I was speaking to at this time said to me, “so what are you trying to say?” I told him that I NEED THIS A AM WILLING TO PAY FOR IT! I was put on hold for quite awhile and he came back and said “it will have to ordered”. I then politely told him again that I was told it was ordered yesterday and it would be there today. He then proceeded to put me back on hold for another 3 minutes and when he finally got back on the phone said “ I found it, it will be ready after 5”.It just irritates me that this was a medication I needed right away and was NEVER notified that my insurance would not cover it.I will give them another chance but after this experience I will be very cautious.

This is what me of the cleanest and well put together stores I have ever been too. The staff were very polite. Shelves were stocked with products no boxes and garbage all over. The prices are amazing and the convenience of the parking lot design is extremely helpful.

This stores photo department is way better than the other Walgreens off Ashley st. Although I love the people in both photo departments, this one is just tan so much more efficiently. It’s right up at the front counter so you don’t have to press a button and wait for someone to come to the photo area. They’re all already up there. There’s multiple phone connection booths to upload your pictures to print. Very efficient. The only thing I didn’t like is they were out of all the face products I was looking for. But they were all on sale, so understandable.

This is the worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The staff are never helpful, especially at the front check out and that is if there’s even anyone there. The past two times I have attempted to drop off a FedEx package the staff has given me an excuse on why they can’t accept the package. One of the excuses was that they didn’t have any tape at the front desk to tape up the package however, the other two Walgreens locations in town have never had an issue helping me package up anything to send back via FedEx and have even been happy to do so. Customer service is truly lacking from any other Walgreens I have been to, don’t waste your time here just go to a different location.

After several months with good experiences since some COVID vaccine scheduling issues, new problems have arisen. When a prescription is not covered by insurance, they direct you to a new website called Walgreens Rx Savings Finder, but the coupons offered there don't work. They tried using the information from the top two on the list. Then, they say there's no need to scan your Balance Rewards card because it is linked to the pharmacy account, but then the points don't appear on the receipt as they do when the card is scanned. I feel as though they just make up everything as they go, and the system doesn't work like they say it does.

What is the point of making a vaccine appointment if all that’s going to happen is you stand around for half an hour AFTER your appointment time? The pharmacy techs had tell each other to pull vaccines for administration. If you SCHEDULE an appointment, should the vaccines not be prepared as your standing there filling out forms? Instead they were pulled nearly 25 minutes after I turned the forms in. This very thing happened for my own vaccines back in 2021. This is a very inefficient pharmacy and would recommend elsewhere for scheduling a vaccine. Picking up prescriptions in the past have been relatively painless, however.

I wish I could submit Zero to the pharmacy, particularly to management. You're one of few pharmacies open in the weekend and you post a pharmacist that can't speak English enough to verify an address or explain the medication. I spent 32 minutes in line, just to be told I couldn't be served at the window. I don't blame the employees, they were understaffed with mediocre employees. You need better management.I was in the store four times today for prescriptions and once for other products. The three cashier's waited on a woman in the photo section because I wasn't the same skin color as them.

When Mr. Patel is NOT in the pharmacy, medications are NEVER NEVER filled on time! We dropped off an RX at 2pm and they said it would be ready at 4pm. Called at 4:17pm and they said they were filling it then, and would be ready at 630pm. Just called now (6:35pm) and she said it wont be ready until tomorrow. Said she only had 2 people there, which is untrue....there were FOUR people there an hour ago. This is UNACCEPTABLE. This walgreens is going down fast and from what I've heard EVERYONE is complaining about them, especially when Mr. Patel isnt there. 😒

My neighbor got plant toxins in her eyes and was in excruciating pain and literally could not see. I took her to after hours walk in clinic on Friday, August 27, 2021. Both corneas were burned and the doctor treated her and gave her two prescriptions which he said must be filled that night. She uses Walgreens so I took her to Walgreens on Oak Street Ext. I walked to the counter at 7:32pm and was told they could not fill them until tomorrow.I explained we had just come from Doctor’s office and he was adamant about her having prescriptions tonight. The pharmacist then came and said they closed in 15 minutes and we needed to take them to another Walgreens that stayed open until 9:00. There were no other customers in the pharmacy with28 minutes until closing , not 15. It was very evident they did not want to be bothered. I understand why they have been given such poor reviews. Someone need to identify this duo and give them a lesson in customer service.These two prescriptions which are prepackaged and sealed and simply had to be removed from the shelf.when I approached the counter. Both the tech and pharmacist refused to discuss it further so we proceeded to the Walgreens on Ashley St. They graciously filled them and we were able to start drops immediately. Terrible service from the staff, was told to come back three different times to pick up a prescription. 7 PM I was told to come in the morning, they open at 9- so at 9:30 AM i went and I was told to come back at 11. The first lady was super rude and The second lady told me it would be about an hour and a half for my prescription. I was just waiting patiently for a time sensitive prescription. Never choosing Walgreens over CVS again.

I placed a order for a canvas mayb a little after 11 this morning. I originally came at 2 and was told by the cashier that she wasn’t sure if they had the size canvas that I wanted she had to ask management and she forgot to ask this morning. Once another associate came and may have looked like she tried to assist her she told me to go to another Walgreens because she wasn’t sure if my order was gonna be made today. The first cashier then came back to me and told me that it would be 20 minutes after to 2 for them to make my order. It is now 4 o’clock and my order is still not made. The associates behind the counter seem to be younger and not as serious about their job managing it really needs to let the associate know how important their jobs are so they take their jobs serious. I only gave 2 stars because my canvas was half way what I wanted.

I have honestly never had a pleasant encounter with this pharmacy. Every single time I have gone to pick up a medication there has been a problem. I have had multiple times gotten an alert that a medication needed to be refilled, clicked yes, then have received an alert that it is ready to be picked up only to arrive and find out that there is nothing ready, it is actually out of refills, get sent home with the wrong medication, or something else. I have never had a pleasant experience interacting with any of the staff. They do not contact you or the doctor for refills. They also close the entire pharmacy for lunch hours instead of having a staff member there and at 12:30 no less which is always my lunch hour to pick up medications. I have tried to hang in there because it is on my way home, but it is just not worth it. I am switching pharmacies without a doubt. When this was a Riteaid I had zero problems. This pharmacy is known for being difficult.

I’d give 0 stars if I could for the pharmacy! Rude and unprofessional blonde girl behind the counter. I have never been so disrespected before even doing business. She has an attitude and needs to learn good customer service!!! After this I will be finding a different place to get prescriptions filled.

I went in to purchase 2 Colgate toothbrushes for $2.99 each to receive a $4 RR. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by the employees, I went and grabbed 2 colgate toothbrushes, went to check out and they did not ring up for $2.99, I told the cashier that they should be $2.99 as indicated in the circular, she proceeded to look in the circular, as she's looking at the circular she is talking out loud to her coworkers about wanting to leave, it's too busy and she is over it, she finally gets to the advertisement in the circular and says it's for toothpaste, I stated it also says for select toothbrushes and explained that they didn't have them marked, she walked away and another employee stated just take a deep breath, she comes back and says I have these toothbrushes for $1.09, not the ones advertised, so I told another employee, I need to speak to a manager, she said we are all managers, 3 of them were at counter, I said I'm not trying to cause any problems, I just want what's advertised, she walked away with the previous employee I initially encountered and came back saying they found it and needed to verify the price, I waited for approximately 5-10 minutes, I decided to walk around and called corporate, finally she said these are the correct toothbrushes, the employee that took over the transaction as the previous employee didn't bother to apologize or finsh my initial transaction, I checked out with the employee that verified the price and I was able to use my $5 RR and receive my $4 RR with no issues once the correct toothbrushes were scanned. All the previous employee had to do was go above and beyond to find the correct toothbrushes that should've been labeled but they weren't, instead she told me sales are based per store and tried to sale me toothbrushes not advertised for $2.99. Terrible customer service, the worst out of all the Walgreens in Valdosta.

Refused to accept a package from my disabled husband because the manager doesn't like to accept large packages. He has several physical disabilities and the associate refused to help him or accept his package. Who does this? And to a disabled person? Really gross!
