Not a pretty store and in a rough part of town but well stocked , great people , prices a tad lower than expected. Brand names you know....and....a mini hardware area with items from woodwork to plumbing . Different.UPDATE!Several months have passed since I wrote this posting. Since then the service has deteriorated and the checkout is very poor. Just yesterday I was there to buy some frozen Brussels Sprouts ( the only reason I shop there as no one else carries this brand). At the checkout ( only two of five are open) the automatic bar code reader quits...the checker looks at me and asked if I knew what the price was. I told her, she then put an incorrect amount into the machine because she was carrying on with a conversation with someone she knew who was next in !ine.! I had to correct her which started a chain reaction about a void on the original amount and finding someone who knew how to do that.Also the placement of items are not uniform ( being in a different location every time I visit) and the prices,displays are inaccurate. I also had speak with a " manager" about a special order. Mr " manager" ( who had not shaved in 4 days) could not be bothered and kept on walking out the back door as I'm talking.. I really dislike going to this store.

Excellent customer service!! Always a pleasant shopping experience. My only complaint is there are displays in the middle of the aisles as well as in odd places of the aisles making it difficult to get down the aisle especially when someone else is trying to get down the aisle. Displays are better only being placed in the "Action Ally."

Wonderful staff, they are always helpful and kind never rude like Walmart employees. They have a great deli bar and the food is always good.The produce is fresh and some is packaged in small amounts for 1 or 2 people, this helps me. No waste.This is my favorite store.

Friendly people. Shelves are well stocked. They are doing renovations on one side of the store but all aisles are open and passable.Be careful at the register. We purchased items based on posted sale prices. As we were leaving I found an error on our receipt and brought it to their attention. The problem was immediately corrected. If you see an item not ring up correctly, just let them know.

I have shopped around and never found a better place to buy all my meats. Always good selection at a great price! Clean store and has True Value hardware as well.

Friendly cashier,soap dispenser broke in both men & women's bathrooms,hot deli price for food per lb is costly but food is crazy prices these days anyhow ..so it is what it is.Was kinda neat and odd, a hardware/grocery store.I did get a deal on some Pedialyte discounted for 1.50 per bottle though ,which kinda made up for the 7.50 deli hot plate of food @ 6.00 per lb

Food is expensive any ways, especially at PW, then they charge 10% on top of what you bought. My husband shops there but I Don't and Won't!! I can buy a extra pack of meet with the 10% I'm saving to shop elsewhere! Do they realize people are strapped for money, apparently.....NOT!!!!!

Listen... I'm big on the pig! I just bought all my groceries and a shovel for less than $100. Some locations may be a bit questionable, but this one is clean, well stocked, and well organized. Friendly staff too!

The market itself looks pretty ruff.The workers are kind and helpful the butchers are very helpful and the best, but most of all the quality and prices of their meats are way far the best and unbeatable.

Only gave one star so i could complain. Other than their meat section this store is one of the worst in valdosta. Bought baby food from there once that was well passed the expiration date and today I bought hushpuppy mix that had weevils in it!! Unless I am meat shopping I will never shop at this store again. Learn to restock and discard any old items!!!!

They always have great fresh produce, and I know absolutely for sure if walmart doesn't have it, They do(because their prices are a little high)

It would be nice if the hours were updated because your website says 10 p.m. and I walked up at 8:49 p.m. only to discover the doors were already locked!

Every time I am in this store which is at least two to three times a month, I have never had a bad experience!! Everyone that works in this store is very accommodating and will ask you if you need help in finding what your looking for.

Prices okay, I’ve been to better piggly wiggly stores. Terrible customer service. I’d rather go to Publix for quality service. Not spending my money here again.

Called the store to ask for customer service, who ever answered the phone was very rude and wouldn't give me her name. After I hung up because of how rudely she was being she then called back cussing at me and calling me a pyscho with major issues when all I did was ask her name.

Went in and got prices on some cases of hamburger meat and cases of leg quarters and when I swiped my card they charged me 50 extra dollars and when I told the casher, she said that she couldn't do anything about it

First time ever in a Piggly Wiggly disappointing to see a small watery bottle what supposed to be hand sanitizer at the check out counter $6.98cents.
