Worst dollar general on the face this earth! Changed their own hours and would not let me in to get my infant some diapers at 6:45pm. Straight up REFUSED after I begged them!! This dollar general really needs to consider shutting the doors for good!

They no longer open until 10pm. I went 6:30pm to go get some snacks and the doors were shut tight and won't let any customers in. Seriously? I had to drive all the way to Siloam to get my snacks? This store needs a better manager cause it sux so bad. Customer service sucks!!

Everything was pretty ok until I got up to the register. There was someone in front of me checking out with a cashier. The whole time the cashier is on her cell phone with a Bluetooth in her ear. After she checked that customer out she just counted some money and walked away and didn’t bother even saying anything. But continued talking on the phone. I went and used the self checkout. Still she’s on the phone. I’m going to contact corporate Monday morning. And you should see all the trash in the parking lot in the back. I usually don’t do stuff like this but it was clear that this employee didn’t care about the customers at all and was more interested in whoever she was talking to on the phone. This was at 330pm Friday August 26th.

I used to work here in 2017 after graduating high school.Friendly atmosphere. In a small town so you know most everyone in there. I even met old friends I hadn’t seen since middle school.The place was just moved across the street from Lamb Avenue (where i was hired) to Industrial Boulevard to a brand new bigger store where we had a grand opening ceremony with the mayor of Union Point that made the paper.The new building was beautiful, but my concerns were that the builders were allowed to leave their hundreds of cigarette butts on the sidewalk out front and in the parking lot🌬 Also, the stock room was always crowded and unorganized. Damaged food items, including frozen food like pepperoni pizzas🍕, would be left spoiling in a pile on the floor as of if it were a compost pile💩. The back of the new store’s sales floor near the freezers, sodas, and paper products always smelled strongly unpleasant🤢, which made me embarrassed to bring my girlfriend to my workplace after I had gotten off work. I would get complaints that customers’ milk has already expired a week or 2 before its expiration date (from personal experience, the milk I bought there did begin to smell quite early)😷. I told my both managers about the milk complaints but I suppose nothing was done about it🙄.Also, my manager kept hiring on new employees, which shortened my hours from working a couple days a week to just working a couple hours in 1 day. He knew I needed to work to afford gas for college, and making $7.25/hour was not helping especially when I wouldn’t be given a day to work once every 2 weeks.Not only was I fed up, my family was moving away from the area. So I QUIT. The only thing that was enjoyable about working there would have to be the customers that would brighten my day. If it wasn’t for the poor conditions, I would rate 4 stars, but it doesn’t deserve but 2.

They say they only have one register open and it has been this way for at least 3 weeks. Sometimes the lines are to the back of the store. What are they going to do with Christmas shoppers this year?? The cashier works fine but while waiting on the payment method to computer he is checking his play list. Of course he had head phones on.

This location is cleaner than most locations. However they did have freight in carts in the aisles just like any other Dollar General. Someone was putting things away and straightening up the shelves. I could not find something. I asked an associate and she was able to take me right to it.

Probably the worst dollar general store…. Everything is boxed up in isles and not put out on the shelves. Go back a few days later & it’s the same way.

Had what we needed. We however didn't get charcoal as all the bags they had were wet. The checkout person was nice though.

This is one of the worst and I mean one of the worst Dollar Generals I have ever been and and it's all due to one of the managers named red he is very rude he was rude to my wife he was rude to my children and I have not been back in that store sent and will never go back in that store again it was 9:30 and he was making us leave the store telling us he closed at 10 I said we had 30 minutes and he said no you have to leave now very rude man should not work in customer service at all should not work with the public

They need more Stockers at all Locations of Dollar General and Keep Stock Out of the Aisle if it is not being put on the Shelves this is at all Dollar Generals !!! Fire Departments need to Step in and Enforce the Fire Codes !!!

Some employees are rude and normally they'll have one cashier and a long line I've been in line with 9 people ahead of me and 2 behind me before the manager and another cashier came out of office to open another register, but that's not the only time something like that hapoens
