Saturday at 8pm went in the Dollar General on Hill st.for ice cream got what I needed went to register squeezed bottle no one came up. Went to both side rooms saying hello no one,walked all over store saying hello no one went and squeezed bottle again. So I put my stuff back and walked outThere was no one in parking lot went to my car there was a girl coming across from Sonic. I ask if she worked here she said yes I ask if she was only one working she said yes l got in my car and left ,I was not walking back in there. So she had went to Sonic left the door unlocked ,keys laying by register. What kind of business is that. None good.

The staff as far as I've ever met, seem to be very friendly, helpful and patient! There does always seem to be a good bit of stock sitting in the way, I'm sure stores like these in our little town have an issue of being technically understaffed making it impossible for the staff to be able to stock, straighten up after rude people mess everything up and still be able to work the register the whole time as well.

When you got a promotional sale and the manager don't want to order and without customers you don't need that type of manager. I say fire the manager or close the store the two day sale with no products they refused to order !! I see where some managers after 6 years leaving this outfit.

Yesterday I had to go into Thomson for a doctors appointment so I stopped in this store. I particularly like this one as it has more items on the shelf. I was greeted by a beautiful woman with curly black hair and tattoos I’ve never seen her there before and I believe she said her name was Gina or Jina. She asked if I needed any assistance with finding anything and as a senior citizen that meant a lot. She helped me with my items and checked me out quickly and told me to have a blessed day. Not too many people in this world has a sincere heart as this young lady. One star for the odor and the ceiling falling down plus it was hot in the store.

Experience was not what dollar general expects from its employees. Was not greeted, not offered any help. Floor full of rolltainers that you have to work yourself around to get too what you want. Whenchecking it, was not thanked. I worked for dollar general for 6 years as store manager. I made sure that every customer was greeted with a sincere hello, offered help, offered a buggy or basket, and thanked when checking out and leaving. What happened to that customer service? This would need never have happened under my management. Customer service is truly important. Unfortunately, it's not happening at this location. Sorry for not telling you what you wanted to hear....

Didn't have a few items on shelf that I was looking for. And the cashier could have been a little more polite but overall a descent visit. Line wasn't long this time

Usually a long line because they won't have more than one register open even though there are two employees. Also the place is a total mess they need to get rid of some things or build a bigger store.

I go to this store every week!; I only use Dollar General toilet tissue and Dollar General diapers. The creamer and cranberry juice are also good quality.

They don't have enough people working and work the one or two on schedule they have to stock and work the front end so you are waiting in line for some time until you find the person working

rachet and so is the manager they sit outside smoking instead of being inside they don't have any ac or heat and there's a big hole in the ceiling smells like black mold
