Gilly's is more than just a place to grab a caffeinated beverage; it's a where everyone knows your name. Janette and JB have a special way of making your drink just the way you like it, with a touch of love in every sip. It's like stepping into a second home where you can relax, chat with friends, and recharge your batteries. I highly recommend giving this place a try at least once- you won't be disappointed!

10s across the board for this entire experience! My family and I visited Gilly this morning. My husband is a coffee lover. Me, not so much…or so I thought. The J duo was simply amazing. They welcomed us so warmly as soon as we came in the door, and helped us (me) elevate my basic coffee order to something spectacular. They also surprised me with a lickshot which essentially changed my world. I can never again boldy say that I’m not a coffee drinker. I’m converted. The food was great as well! We had the BLT and twice baked croissant. The CROISSANTSSSS. I need more! They were also sooo sweet to our little one. Anyway, I can go on and on! Everyone needs to come here! We will certainly be back thanks to the J duo!Pictured (left-right): honey-basil, lavender, and vanilla lattes. Also, twice baked pecan croissant

We are so in love with this coffee!!! It was made so well and of great quality. They respect the beans. The cappuccino was exquisitely prepared. Once we added Jasmine I was hooked. I felt as if I was watching a cooking show. Great preparation! The staff prepared and chatted at the same time. It was lovely!!! We went up to the 2nd floor and enjoyed the hammock-like chairs with our coffee. They were just right. Very quiet and relaxing. We did not want to leave. Great lazy day outing and worth the price.Parking: We found a spot right away.

The barista was super kind and friendly. She made me my first “flat white”. It was so good! She added honey and basil, which was so delicious and not overpowering. She was so kind with her service. She made a few turkey bacon croissants for my family. We sat on the patio with our dog. The house is beautiful! Looks like they’re renovating certain parts so hours and menu items shown on Google may be in-flux during this time. Definitely one of the best coffees I’ve had in a while!

Really awesome coffee shop with a great location and even better drinks! The service is great and they make you feel like a friend when you walk in.They have a balcony which you could sit at and enjoy coffee with your friends, or a an epic Chai tea latte while you study or relax.Really great spot!

ordered a chaider which was homemade apple cider with masala chai, which was delicious for the colder weather. The matcha isn’t presweetened if you are looking to have a less sweet matcha experience. The vibe of the place was chill and they host community events. A Saturday visit lead to me coming back later that night for an open mic night. 10/10 wholesome experience

Had such a good experience visiting their shop! Their coffee is genuinely good, and the food coming out the kitchen was delightful and demolished before a photo could be taken, while their coffee lends itself to being sipped and slowly taken in. Their seasonal elixirs are creative but still truly delicious, and their pourovers are worth waiting for. The space itself could've sat me for hours of comfort and the service made for a genuine experience with delightful employees who know their craft.A special find and a wonderful time, and a huge blessing to the community. :)

I visited this spot for the 1st time yesterday despite having passed it multiple times in the past. I need to start by saying that the customer service is beyond spectacular. Every single person we came in contact with was so pleasant.I initially went because I heard that Apple Butter Bakery would be selling their products there now that they no longer have their Stone Mountain location. The manager explained that that was in the works and went on to give a thorough explanation of everything else on the menu.My drink and food were delicious, my server was funny. The whole experience was just pleasant and I look forward to coming back in the future.

A gem of a place to visit. Janette was such a pleasure to speak with over the days of my travel and visits here, their love for coffee shows through their crafted creations. House made seasonal syrups, and great tasting espresso. The energy of the staff and place was amazing and welcoming. A must visit when in town. Their food menu was amazing as well, the salad and Sando are must tries!

Best coffee shop I’ve been to and I’m not a coffee drinker. Everything is made with quality ingredients and you can tell they put a lot of thought into creating their drinks. Superb.

Great spot to get good coffee and just chill; maybe even get some work done. The staff is awesome and loves the art of it all just like true coffee drinkers should. The seasonal elixirs are cool too. Interesting and tasty!

So the owner and barista Janette are the hippest, friendliest, coolest people. Niko the chef is amazing and serves to please. I had the peach salad and they made me fresh lemonade to order since I do not drink coffee or tea. My companion got a fresh brewed coffee that he swears tastes better than any Starbucks coffee. This is such a cozy spot and we chose to eat and sit outside where the hanging hammock chairs are located. This place is a must visit for hip bohemians, families, couples on a date and anyone who enjoys high quality fresh brewed coffee and tea. Nice place just to sit and relax and take in downtown Stone Mountain. You won't be disappointed! The customer service is outstanding!

If we're in Atlanta, its known we're going to Gilly's Brew Bar. Amazing coffee creations, inspired elixers, and tasty bites. Added to all that, everyone we've ever come across are friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do-- thanks @gillybrewbar for not being a coffee shop, but a real forum for community, creation, and the best damn coffee around.

If it seems like Gilly is operating in a class of its own, that’s because it absolutely is.I made the drive out to Stone Mountain from in town to visit their original location today, and wow was it the right choice. First off, the house is stunning. It’s across from active rail tracks (seriously active - the porch even rumbles when trains go by!), the town center, and the end of the Stone Mountain path. You can order downstairs inside when you come in, or find a table and order from the menus to have food and drink brought straight to you, and you can also see what’s in stock that way. The menus are split since food and drink is run separately - the Birded Bird runs the food menu and it’s solid brunch fair with mostly-vegan lunch options. Big ups for the tasty plant based burger on the pretzel bun!Their drink menu is off the charts interesting. Tea elixirs, playful seasonal coffee creations, served in to go options and fancy glassware. I’m gonna be back to try the rest of the frankly extensive list. There’s inside and outside seating, including some hammocks! They’re fully up and running again, so the restroom is available too. I brought a book, but lots of folks were doing work on laptops, happy to escape their own houses. All of this and not to mention how historically awesome it is that this old plantation house is now black owned and run. So come on out, walk through Stone Mountain park a bit (for free, from this side!), then walk over to Gilly to just take it all in.

My only wish for Gilly is that it was closer to where I live in Atlanta because it’s exactly the kind of place I love. Their selection of morning beverages and breakfast items are very well prepared and served by delightful people. But the concept of Gilly has a place to build careers for those who need that help is a great mission. And I like the humble and repurposed space they have for events and gatherings. When you’re in this neck of the woods, make Gilly one of your stops.

I love this spot. Runs laps around Starbucks. Not only are the owners and staff the best in Stone Mountain, but the time and care they put into each handcrafted drink is just out of this world.A cozy atmosphere with music playing in the background, a beautiful almost wrap around porch and amazing drinks and little bites here and there. If you want a place to work and get away from the hustle and noise of Starbucks, come here.Stay gilly.

I cannot belieeeeve that I’ve lived in Norcross/Tucker for yearssss and I have never even heard of this place. And as many times as I’ve parked at the library, which is right across the street, and walked over to Stone Mountain park lol. I’m forever grateful that my friend suggested it. It is absolutely amazing. I love the vintage vibe and I was told that the building was built by those who were enslaved and is now a Black owned coffee shop, talk about a full circle moment! I wanted to try a variety of things, so I was recommended by the owner to try the Lick Shot iced espresso drink, I’m a fan of ginger beer so that was a no brainer, and I also ordered a homemade oatmeal cream pie and their ‘It’s Vegan’ open faced sandwich/toast. The Lick Shot was delicious, Little Debbie can’t hold a candle to that oatmeal cream pie and the sandwich?? Devoured! The service was also amazing which can be hard to come by in Atlanta, let’s just bffr 😂 and they also have events like karaoke, art shows and comedy nights. I can’t wait to go back!

We visited every day we were in the area while on business. Flat white was the best I’ve ever had, honestly. Perfect espresso. My husband had the Sun Buttah latte and also a honeycomb latte, and they were so very good! Get an oatmeal cream pie if you’re lucky enough to see them in the pastry case—as our friendly barista said, don’t order one unless you want your life changed. ;)

This amazing gem in historic Stone Mountain village is an absolute MUST try! Outstanding customer service, great vibes all around, chair swings on the porch for the sunny days and exceptional and unique coffee and espresso beverages! You can also pop a record on the record player, and enjoy some tunes as you hang out. I highly recommend the Nutella latte as well as the Biscoff Latte! And if they have any blond brownies, grab one of those melt in your mouth, insanely delicious triangles!

Thank you, Gary and staff at the Gilly Brew Bar! The atmosphere and vibe from the staff was awesome. I had an iced mocha and it was incredible. They make their own chocolate ganache sauce. We also purchased cookies from the owners wife’s bakery (Apple Butter Bakery) and they were delicious. We would definitely love to come back.

Very friendly and charming place. Excellent coffee and good warm breakfast choices. The story of this place is fascinating and a great place and people to support. The “Appear” elixir served hot was just the thing I needed for a cold December morning - perfect combination of apple, pear, masala chai, and a shot of espresso. Love it.
