This pet store is wonderful! Having an immense selection of cat food and dog food as well as having a friendly knowledgeable staff that are willing to go out their way to aid you in your pet's nutrition. After years of neglecting my cats' health I finally am able to give them the healthy life they deserve! Thank you AARF Pet Central because of you my cats have to deicded to let me go, I can finally see my family again!

This place was nothing short of amazing. My cats seemed to enjoy a new place with different scenery and scents than usual pet stores. It’s quiet, and I wasn’t rushed or bombarded during my visit. They have everything from kibble, freeze dried, air dried, and raw. I really did love it in here and I was surely be back with the crew for purchases to come.

We've been shopping here for 6 months and the service and selection are honestly impeccable. I HIGHLY recommend. We're VERY picky when it comes to our pup, and she's loved everything we've purchased here. Great quality products and brands, and the staff are immeasurably kind and knowledgeable.

I don't normally take the time to post reviews, but this pet store is easily the best I've been to, so it only makes sense to give them the recognition they deserve. I feel that supporting small businesses is important in our off-the-rails capitalist society, so if it means taking the time to sing the praises of one like AARF I'll gladly do it.The staff here are wonderful. They are kind, knowledgeable, and friendly. As a first time cat owner, I was not aware that a dry food only diet could trigger UTIs in cats due to the way they metabolize water via eating. The staff here instantly recognized this problem with my feeding strategy, recommended food, and gave me some educational documents about cat health and food. Since? Not a single UTI, which makes myself and little Grapeseed very happy.I'm really happy to see that I'm not the only one that appreciates the lovely people here. The negative reviews I read are laughable if they think that they can smear what is obviously a fantastically run and staffed local business.

I've done business with them for over six years. It's a pleasure to shop there. The AARF staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful! They track your purchases to be sure you receive the free items you are due. The products they sell are of great quality, and the prices are very reasonable. The best!

I have been a loyal customer for almost nine years, buying food and supplies for my two dogs and spending between $150 to $200 per month. Last time I was in the store I picked up two harnesses. I brought them back 20 days later because I went out of town and couldn't get back, and because they were too small even though I bought my dogs regular sizes. They refused to refund my money stating it was store policy that they only gave 15 days for returns. Not even the store owner would budge and make an exception which is ridiculous. So now I have two harnesses I can't use that were very overpriced, and if they honored the return they could have easily hung them back on the wall and resold them, and kept me as a customer. I thought my business with them would be appreciated but I guess not. What a kick in the teeth after shopping at this store for so long, and this is the first time I asked to return something in almost nine years. I'll take my business elsewhere. I can't help support a company that doesn't value their customers.

Why advertise you can assist with locating grants and reduced vets but when I call you hang up. Please change your website and remove your name from the Human Society website. Also, tell your receptionist to not hang up on people and just inform them that you are a food supply store!

These ladies are not only some of the most helpful people I have met in a long time they are also knowledgeable. I have been in a few times and we feel like family. If you are looking for something that is more personal and has better quality and options then this is a good place to start. My dog usually doesn't like treats especially dry ones, they pointed out a few options that she might like based on her diet and she loved all of them. I even called ahead and they pulled what I needed so I didn't have to wait. Overall this is a wonderful place with wonderful people.

My boyfriend and I adopted two kittens from here about a month ago, and AARF has been nothing less than amazing in the support they’ve shown us. From the beginning, I knew this rescue cared about their animals when they had us fill out a detailed application. They truly care that these pets are going to safe and loving homes.Since bringing our two babies home, AARF has continued to be excellent to us and the cats. At our last vet appointment, we had an issue come up with one of the kittens, and AARF was quick to advise us on how to help her best. They also mentioned that in case the issue is something deeper and lifelong, they would gladly accept the kittens back into the shelter if it wasn’t something we were able to handle. No judgment from them, just wanting what is best for the cats, as well as us.AARF cares so much about their animals, and I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you, AARF!

I've been coming to AARF for a few years. Jeff is always so helpful. Love the new location. Prices are on par for QUALITY food. I tell folks all the time, it's well worth it to invest a little more on the front end for your pet's health than on the back end with those high a$$ vet bills.

I have shopped at AARF for years giving them hundreds of dollars in business. I believe in shopping locally and was happy to be their customer. Recently I bought a harness there for my pup that turned out to be defective. From day one the clasp was not easy to open. Within 2 weeks it simply would not open and I had to cut it off my dog. I went in the store to return the collar and buy dog food never dreaming there would be an issue. However Susan, one of the owners, has refused to give me a refund! I was astounded. I have the receipt and bought the collar 2 weeks prior. She said first that she would have to contact the harness manufacturer that they were the ones I would have to pursue getting a refund from. She hasn't answered my calls or emails and last relayed through an employee that the harness maker had gone out of business (big surprise) so I can't get a refund. Don't shop with these people. Their dishonesty calls in to question all they are supposed to stand for as well as their purported good deeds for animals.Your response to my review, not too surprisingly misrepresents the truth. I have not returned numerous items. I have returned dog food after being encouraged to try it you can always return it. Given what I have purchased I have returned a very small percentage over the years. I tried to get the clasp to release with a screwdriver, which I told you. It didn't work so I had to cut the harness off. You couldn't get the clasp to open either. Your return policy doesn't state that the customer has to attempt to get a refund from the manufacturer. And I do doubt everything about AARF given your dishonest way of handling this. I had my, receipt, the harness was defective I returned it within 2 weeks of purchase but am unable to get a refund.

I absolutely love this place and the people who work here. These ppl have been amazing since we first started getting food from them and continued to be amazing during the time our dog was sick and needed a special diet. Not only does this place offer healthy food for animals but they are extremely knowledgeable. I've mostly had dealings with Jeff who is absolutely amazing but all employees/owners there seems to genuinely care about the animals. I cannot say enough great things about this store and the ppl who work here. I recommend this place highly and couldn't imagine going anywhere else.

AARF Pet Central ROCKS! If you're looking for high quality, reasonably priced pet food and supplies in a customer-friendly store, this is the place to go. I'm very happy with my purchases, especially knowing that I'm supporting the AARF mission. My dog is very happy with my purchases because she gets yummy food that is good for her health. It's a win-win for people, their animal companions and homeless animals. It just doesn't get much better than this!
