Great family owned business! For the past three summers our 5-7 acre pond, depending on irrigation needs, has been overrun with a grassy weed that if left unchecked would eventually cover the entire surface. We had been using diquat herbicide at $100 a gallon, 4-5 gallons per year as each spring it would start coming back, it worked but the annual cost was not really the long term answer. I called Edge’s and spoke with Ethan, super nice and extremely knowledgeable on all things that you need to know if you’re interested in a healthy and stable pond. Ethan came to do a free evaluation of our pond and identified the problem weed(s) and made recommendations on solutions. The best option turned out to be sterile grass carp. The last stocking was over 20 years ago and we still have 5-6 giants in the pond, turns out the older and larger they get the less efficient they are at controlling the grasses. Based on pond size Ethan recommended 100 10”-12” carp. We decided to stock 1/3 per year over three years as the pond level can change drastically with irrigation needs. Very pleased with my experience with Ethan and Keith who delivered the fish. My next project with Edge’s will be the shocking evaluation of our fish populations, health and balance, removal of overpopulated species included at a very reasonable rate. Has great fish. Good service and can keep servicing your pond to check health, oxygen levels, and keep your pond looking nice for a reasonable price recommend for anyone who needs a pond stocked or if your fish are having health problems.
