This Publix is outstanding. They have some of the best customer service I've seen. Almost all the employees greet you and ask if you need help. They also have no self checkout which avoids the customer consistently feeling like they are being monitored for theft. I tried Kroger's once and did not experience the same atmosphere. Definitely will be a regular at Publix on Wilmington Island.

This store is wonderful—everyone is so kind and helpful. Claire in the pharmacy has gone above and beyond to help me problem solve a prescription issue on my end. Everyone here deserves a raise, Publix corporate!!

I love this store but the past two times I have been here the same female cashier was not friendly and not someone I want to wait on me again. I won't stop shopping there but when I see J I will go in another line.

One of the best Publix anywhere. They are always so friendly, you would think they know us (we visit often but don’t live in Savannah.)The store is always nice and clean, and well stocked also.Parking is generally not too bad, but it’s kind of a small lot for a Publix.Stop by the deli and grab a cake, pie, bread, etc. They do a great job and are always happy to help!!

I was surprised when the worker was not professional and unfriendly. He got my order wrong because he was so lazy he cut the meat way too thick and cheese also. Another Publix next time.

This was our first time here and when we pulled up the store from the outside I thought was new It's a huge building looks nice from the outside then we go inside and we find out that the actual store is about 30 something years old and you can kind of tell as soon as you walk in is an older store. The shelving's old and then as soon as we walk to the deli and immediately knew that it was old. The deli definitely needs remodel a lot of the store needs a remodel actually. The bathrooms are quite outdated as well. I will say as always with Publix to staff with super friendly and nice. The summit all up stores outdated needs a remodel and the staff and super friendly and nice of course I would go back.

Great selection of items and the fruit is always fresh and tasty which I appreciate!!! They also have a nice assortment of vegan options also as well as international items/sauces etc!!!Can't beat a pub sub before the beach also. 😉

I've been a Publix shopper for decades, having lived for many years in Miami before moving to Savannah last year. But I think that I am done with them now, or at least the one on Wilmington Island, after the ridiculous conversation with a manager I just had there. In walking up an aisle, I noticed that there were red clearance signs in front of all the Pure Protein brand protein shakes. The regular price for a four-pack is normally $8.99 and the sign in front of the chocolate flavor read "clearance $3.59 save $5.40." However, the signs in front of the other flavors read "clearance $8.99." When I brought this to the manager's attention, he said in a condescending tone that "clearance" did not mean that the items were on sale, only that they were wanting "to clear the shelf" of that item. I then stated that that was misleading, and not 1 shopper out of 100 would think that is what the sign meant. They would assume that an item on clearance meant that the item was also marked at a sale price. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave me an IDGAF look. I think his attitude pissed me off even more than their obvious intent to deceive shoppers.

The store organization is a bit different, but easy once you figure it out. The fresh produce area is all the way to the left into the back. Not exactly what you might expect, I had to ask where it was. The available produce was fair. Sign up for their deals to pre-shop bargains.

Great staff and cleanliness of the store not withstanding, stop trying to save money in the deli. The roasted chickens are seriously half the size they were weeks ago for the same price. The cuban sandwiches look like they were made by a machine or people that were in a big hurry. Less meat, slopped on mustard and mayo. Used to be my favorite sandwich. Going to kroger for chicken from now on. Although I don't like the store, as long as I'm there I'll buy the rest of my groceries there.

I was in your store last night and must say, it is so refreshing to encounter two of the nicest gentlemen staff you have working in your produce and frozen food section. They seemed to genuinely care about how I was doing and were friendly and helpful without being overly intrusive. This is one of most favorite places to shop, it’s only frustrating when the deli runs out of stuff for the sandwich’s and tells you last minute. I wish they could notify the app certain things are not a available. Other than that the customer service of everyone who works their is top notch!!
