Just went to the bar at Kroger and it's great but you have to be careful.There's a worker there who is not friendly (you could greet people with a hello and a smile) and who has a tendency to over charge. So keep track of what you have because she does not. Everyone else is great she needs to enjoy her job or move on.

Longtime Kroger shopper here... Even though Kroger is always out of stock on products and their supply chain is poor, I still shopped there because of the lower prices. No More! I use self-checkout now because I am mainly forced to. Recently, Kroger added AI to their self-checkouts which is supposed to find shoplifters. Today I was in and scanning a small bottle of Pepcid, which does not have much weight and some other food for this evening. Because their scales seem to be inferior, they could not register the Pepcid as being in the bag. A customer service agent came over, with an attitude as if I was a criminal. She was reviewing the video to see if I scanned it. It seemed odd because I scanned it and put it in the bag, which means II would be paying for it regardless if it was in the bag or not. Anyway, I asked her "Are you making sure I am not stealing?" and she said 'No' and I said, "then what are you doing watching me scan items on the video?". I legit felt like a shoplifter being interrogated in front of the store. She got angry, rolled her eyes, and stormed off. I proceeded to pay for my items and left. I spoke with the store manager shortly thereafter by phone and she said "sorry". I understand Kroger want's to stop theft, but do not make me do your job (checking myself out) and then assume that I am stealing items and checking footage before I can go. I will never shop at Kroger after this happened. Publix, which is cleaner, always has items in stock, but is a little more expensive is just down the road and I do not have to check out my groceries, nor do I have to worry about being suspected of theft when I shop.

Horrible store. Aisles are crowded and shelves are messy and many items are constantly out of stock. Staff is very very rude. Produce is moldy and not fresh at all. Highly suggest going to Publix.

I guess they want to send people to other stores. I've been in the store 3 times in past month looking for filet steak. They never have one. They barely have any meats at the meat counter. Great wine selection, but store in chaotic in set up and doesnt seem very clean.

Ordered pick up food at 3pm says it would be ready between 6-7pm. Have been waiting since 6 and no one has come to check on us or verify our order. Understaffed and under managed.*It is currently 7:20 and still no one has said anything. Have tried calling the store with no answer.*7:27 finally someone comes and talks to us and says they missed our order.*half the items were out of stock even though online said they were in stock. Very poor customer service. Never again will use the pickup order.

This is my first review ever at 1 Star. Had an absolutely horrible experience, Michelle, on the front end was absolutely one of the rudest people I have ever encountered in my life. Not only at Kroger. Do I have to check out my own groceries, but I have to also do it with zero help, and attitude from the only associate on the front end. As someone that spent more than 10 years in the grocery business, this cannot be great for business!

It’s terrible. Always out of stuff especially if there are coupons. Meat section and seafood section stink. The store is dirty. And the cashiers all have attitude. You will have to bag your own groceries bc this store doesn’t have any baggers and the cashiers won’t help. They are really pushing self checkout but there is always an issue with the computer. I’m always in a bad mood when I leave here. Go to Publix.

This is the worst most dangerous grocery store around. Stay away. From homeless people committing robberies in the parking lot, to rude obnoxious employees who will literally run into you, this place is a mess!

This store is so chaotic, under stocked, and mismanaged it’s hard to believe they are still in business. The aisles are often blocked with items waiting to be shelved, creating traffic chaos. I try to only use self checkout, as the cashiers are slow, and I usually have to bag anyway. I always leave frustrated and irritated!

I will not shop here again. There are barely lines open. Many employees at this location are very rude. When a person of color goes to use the self-checkout, the staff will literally walk over and stare at them until they’re done. I won’t spend money where hard-working people are profiled because of the color of their skin.

I like shopping at kroger, but and this is a big but. I have a cart full of groceries and only one cashier with a long line. I normally use self checkout but there is not enough room to put your groceries once bagged, and the employees are too busy either on their phone or talking to each other. Wouldn't dare offer assistance. I think they have quietly quit.

We just left this Kroger location at 3:36pm on 10/18. We had the most amazing customer service from your cashier, Kennedy. She was waiting at the front of her register line to greet us as we approached. As I was unloading my groceries, I realized we forgot the hotdog buns. Once she finished scanning our groceries, Kennedy quickly disappeared. When she returned she had 3 different types of buns for me to choose from. In all my years as a Kroger customer, I have never received this kind of service. Kennedy was friendly, talkative, smiling and helpful. I myself am a retail manager for Home Depot and if I weren't on vacation, I would have hired her on the spot! Please keep her! She is a rare gem in this harsh world of retail!! Kennedy is who I would love to see as a cashier at all Krogers. Well done in hiring her!

Went to the store on a Thursday evening around 9:00. After my wife and I finished shopping we noticed that they were only doing self check out and they had no cashiers at the registers. Aggravating, considering we had a buggy full of groceries. We had to get another cart and it took us 20 mins to get finished due to the censor at the scan pay and go station. It kept going off because we had to remove the bags to make room to bag more food. Poor customer service and ridiculous. 1 star4/24/23Changed my review to 4 stars due to this being such a convenient grocery store. I decided to update from 1 star to 4 stars.

This has to be the worst grocery store on the island. I mean who manages this place? The vegetables are rotten, the employees don't give a damn, and the place is an absolute logistic mess. The layout is horrendous, who decides to put displays and unstocked items in the main artery of the store??

Only 2 cashiers at the time, with about 4 carts in each line and no baggers! Lady behind me loaded up my groceries so I could bag them to make things faster! Prices are way way to high… Kroger is so dam greedy! Can’t stand this Kroger

I always prefer buying ORGANIC. Your organic fruits and vegetables are picked to soon. I purchased your "organic avocados" had them in a paper bag for over 1Week. Still as hard as a ROCK. YOU STORE LOOKS GREAT. I APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORT IN BRING A CLEAN WELL OPERATED STORE TO THE ISLAND. PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR ORGANIC QUALITY!!!!!!!!

Kroger allows me to gain fuel points when I shop and mails out coupons based on recent purchases. Can get busy at times during checkout, but otherwise it's a great store to shop.

This is a great store if you want to eat beer or go to the bar. If you expect to buy food here you are in for a bad time. Produce is always basically empty the produce they do have stocked looks like it was ran over by a truck and is covered is some black oily substance. I would be ashamed to feed my family the vegetables sold here assuming you can find any. Someone really needs to step up and fix this. It's not a one time thing everytime I come here the produce section is baren. Publix is actually cheaper on WI and fully stocked sadly Kroger is closer to me but I'll be shopping elsewhere from now on this store is terrible.

Quick stop to pick up a few items. In and out without any issues. Had to use self checkout and they charged me to get cash back - never had that for a large grocery store before - getting greedy!

Don’t go to this store if you’re expecting anything other than Hazelnut coffee creamer. I have been seriously hoping that it was just because of the pandemic but it has remained the same. The dairy department is in need of help. They cannot keep up and keep the shelves stocked. I genuinely like Kroger but this one is the worst one I’ve encountered. Makes me want to spend more money and just shop at Publix.

I just cashed my check at Kroger 495 Johnny Mercer boulevard. I had the worst experience with Sharon. (Older Caucasian lady, shoulder length hair with glasses). Sharon was very rude to myself and the three customers ahead of me. She talked rudely, and her questions came off as demands. She acted as if she was afraid to take the check and my ID card out my hand.And when she did, she snatched it. I had to ask for my receipt. she acted like she didn't want to give me my reciept. This is such a nice store, to have such a rude person working " customer service" . I hope Sharon has a better day tomorrow. Hopefully not working at Kroger....

OMG!....I thought I'd try this Kroger since it was a fairly newly remodeled store. Boy, was I disappointed. The produce section was wiped out. No raspberries, no baby cucumbers, tomatoes were bruised, eggplant picked over & only half rotten ones left. There was a gentleman there stocking items in produce with 2 or 3 boxes on his cart but he spent 30 minutes chatting with a lady and I didn't want to interrupt so I just moved on. None of the large bags of pistachios that I usually buy at the Mall Blvd location available. The potato chip aisle was decimated. There were empty spots in shelves all over the store. I hope this was a special circumstance, a supply chain issue or something, but needless to say I will not be going back to that store. I will stick to my usual store on Mall. 🙁

I went in today to get a few groceries for the week. A lot of things I like weren’t available but I understand because everyone is short staffed and maybe the stocker hadn’t gotten to it yet. The thing I’m not understanding about is rudeness. I went to Kylie’s line and she was very unpleasant. She had a “nice nasty” attitude and was very unprofessional. I’m not sure if she was having an off day or what, but she treated me as if I stole her dog. Also, instead of scanning the four 12 packs of soda with a scanner, she blandly and rudely said “i need you to pick those up” to my elderly grandfather. I myself couldn’t put them on the conveyor belt because I just had surgery and can’t lift my arms too much so he had to pick them up himself. To add, he just had back surgery. Again, I understand that places are short staffed and overworked, but that doesn’t give you the right to talk to and treat people like they’re nothing!

First time in today since moving to Savannah. Very nice clean store , super friendly folks working here and very helpful . Clean restrooms. Good prices and cool specials with the card and sign up with the mobile app. They have Starbucks coffee here and they even have a bar! This is the first grocery store I've been in that has a bar, cool bartender and them ya can go order a pizza. I also like that there's a gas station on site and you get a gas discount when you shop .

Twice in the past couple of months I have purchased pork loin and got it home to slice only to realize its sour/spoiled. They also need to be discarding the fuzzy green beef instead of marking it down. Seem to be focusing on the wrong things here. Employees playing grab @$$ with the drunks at the bar while meat sits out at room temperature. Just sad...

Two-tone review. On one hand, the staff is amazing. They're very helpful, and always super friendly. HOWEVER. This has to be the WORST STOCKED grocery store in the area. I work in the area, so I usually stop on the way home for odds and ends, and I have the worst time finding regular everyday items.
