I had to book a last minute appt this week and luckily Helen was available to take our Golden, Astor. She was new to us and she did an AMAZING job. Our dog hadn't been groomed in a while due to some medical issues so he was kind of a mess and also doesn't always feel the best so Helen knew she'd have to be gentle. When we picked Astor up, we couldn't believe what a wonderful job she'd done. I will 100% book her again in the future - she's just the best.

I can honestly say this is the best grooming salon I’ve ever been to. I book with Angelica every time because she does an AMAZING job! I have an almost 3 year old golden doodle who has really bad separation anxiety and is often very wild at drop off but Angelica and the entire staff treat him with so much love, care, and caution. If you need a place to take your pup, this is truly the place to go because you’ll never ever have to worry! So much gratitude for the Perk N Pooch staff! ❤️ here are before and after pics of his groom today!

I woke up at 10:50am , had a 11:30am appointment booked by 11:07am. Very friendly and quick service. $54 for a thorough wash (short hair breed) and nail trim. The nails were not trimmed to my liking (they were still long) which prompted me to ask if there was an issue or if she caused a fuss when they did her nails. The attendee said there was no problem but 🤷🏽‍♀️. She smelled good for the most part but her face still stunk and she had eye boogers. I didnt make a fuss, but ill make sure i make those things known as hot spots next time prior to her appointment.

The worst experience. Would never recommend anyone trust these people with your pet. I was a first time customer bringing my dog for a haircut and bath. My bf and I ran some errands and popped back over because we weren't sure how long it was supposed to take and my phone had issues with texting at the time so I wanted to make sure I hadn't missed their message to pick him up. I let the front desk receptionists know that he probably wasn't ready and we hadn't received a text but we would just wait in their lobby or coffee shop until he was ready. She went back to check and brought him out. We paid and left. My dog looked blow dried and brushed but his hair still looked pretty long. I assumed it was because I had asked the groomer not to cut it too too short. On the drive home the owner of the shop calls me to let me know the receptionist had not checked with the groomer and had sent him home without having anything done. He was supposed to have glands expressed, nails and hair trimmed ect. He had only been bathed. He was also bone dry when I picked him up which can only mean he was sitting in the dryer long past when he was ready for the haircut. Clearly nobody was checking on him, especially since the groomer wasnt around when the receptionist went to get him. I didn't trust them anymore so I asked for a refund because they didn't complete the service i paid for. She offered me 10% off my next visit. I pushed and finally got a refund. Sitting in their dryer ended up giving him a flea infestation that we spent months finally fixing (and yes he was on preventatives). Later I ended up seeing multiple separate reviews saying the receptionist tried to bring them the wrong dogs at pickup several times. That's not hard to believe since there's obviously not a great process for their pickups. I would never trust them with my dog again

This was the best haircut my baby has ever had. I loved almost everything about this place. Very detailed oriented and friendly. Two things I wasn’t fond of was being charged for nail grinding when I paid for a full groom, and any tangle being considered a matting which was an additional charge.

I have been taking my two huskies to Perk-N-Pooch for over a year now and I am always impressed by their service and quality. The staff is friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They treat my dogs with care and love, and they always do a great job with their grooming. My huskies look and smell amazing after every visit. I highly recommend Perk-N-Pooch to anyone looking for a top-notch dog grooming experience.

We’ve been really pleased with Perk-n-Pooch! 10/10 would recommend groomer Carl. I love that he comes out to make sure he knows exactly what kind of cut we want. Short summer cut for our Havanese this time!It’s also super easy to book appointments on their app and there’s a discount for nail cut if you do as a part of grooming. The staff promptly lets you know when your pup is ready for pickup and sends an digital text invoice before pickup so you know what to expect and then a follow up digital receipt afterwards.

RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY:********************Absolutely ** NO ONE ** made any mention of any service fees when I called 📞 for pricing or dropped off my pet. It doesn't matter how long they've been in place. Customers should be informed about a 20% service fee prior to receiving the service, rather than being surprised at payment, followed by an expectation for an additional tip.It appears there may be a training opportunity here as this is not good business practice.And while there may be lots of information available about your service fees this information was "somehow" withheld when I called and asked for pricing.ORIGINAL REVIEW:********************Perk-N-Pooch delivers commendable dog grooming services, but the experience is marred by unexpected service fees during payment totaling 20% and then an expectation for a tip. This lack of upfront pricing transparency disappoints. When customers inquire about pricing, additional costs like the 20% service fee should be communicated beforehand to avoid surprises at payment. Improving transparency on fees would significantly enhance the overall satisfaction and credibility of their grooming services.

Was my first time there everyone was friendly, asked about prices before and after was the same agreed price. My Shiba Inu isn’t a fan of baths but Darcy was Amazing with my fur baby! She came out happy and can see the the difference of before and after with the de-shedding for the spring season. Would definitely come back and ask for Darcy again!

Professional, friendly, and so good with my pup. I love being able to pull up curbside and they do the rest. Sometimes I pop over to the cafe side and wait. That’s a nice touch too. Highly recommend!

Discovered Perk-n-Pooch online and decided to give it a try since they offered a Puppy Groom service. I brought my 3 month old puppy, Chloe, in for her first grooming experience. Melanie and the rest of the staff did a great job! Melanie explained everything at the car / curbside about what will happen to Chloe.They are still doing curbside drop offs and pick ups! We parked near the sidewalk and someone quickly came out to take care of us. It was really easy and efficient!The staff is great and responded very well to any questions we had before (and after) the service. According to everyone, Chloe did a pretty gob job during her time there. They even dressed her up in cute bows and a bandanna. We are glad to know that she was safe and happy. Everyone really took their time to make sure the fur babies are taken care of.Hopefully when COVID - 19 figures itself out we can go back again and check out the coffee house portion of their business in the future. We look forward to coming back 😄

Super easy and convenient! They have an app you can download, create your profile and manage appointments. As of right now, they are short-staffed but other than that they are good! They give you a free scarf for your doggy ☺️ they have a coffee/smoothie bar area on the side!

I would rate higher but the curb side drop off solution doesn’t seem like the best one for animals in general as even they staff complained of nervous pets. Also my dog needed to be re brushed. The whole reason we wanted him groomed was too thin his hair but it was coming out on tufts.

I found this groomer after several shops such as PetSmart were unable to cut the nails of my mastiff due to being afraid of his size and after several reports of my lab mix being "loud and talkative." It was clear that the pups weren't satisfied so when I found Perk-N-Pooch it was a total life saver! They were so kind with my mastiff and put him at ease and he's had a great report every time. My lab is still terrified of water, but they go slow and speak sweetly to her every time and it's really helped her fear.I get to sit back with great coffee, chat with the friendly staff and my dogs get a full treatment. I drive about 45 minutes to get to the groomer, but now I'll never go anywhere else!

I just want to say how wonderful of an experience we had today for the first time! Very professional with a consultation of what Zoey needed to have done and the product of Zoey is perfect. Zoey is 7 months and I feel like Abbie, the groomer I chose knew exactly how to cut and style her. I am so pleased and will definitely be returning. She looks perfect and I’m so happy. Won’t be visiting again and probably won’t recommend. My dog left with bursted eye vessels after his first visit here . That has never happened to him at any other grooming place. The leashes they use for “safety” could also cause choking if a dog is unwatched with it on and it is pulled too tight. This could lead to ruptured eye vessels, which I believe was the case here.

My mother took our 4 month female husky old puppy here for the first time after a long walk in the tennis Center near by when she picked her up she smelled the same as before and we didn't see much change she still had mud in her paws and fur I really don't think my mom's going to be coming back

We have been here a couple times and it is officially our go-to groomer! Our little dog is usually nervous during his haircuts, but they still manage to get him calm, comfortable and clean-cut! If you're nervous about your Pooch has haircut, be sure to trust the groomers here, they definitely know what they're doing!!

I brought my Goldendoodle in late last month. He was groomed by Carl, and Carl did an AMAZING job! When I picked up my boy, I hardly recognized him. He was a new man. We LOVE Perk-N-Pooch! Susan is the BEST groomer we have ever had. My dog used to hate going to the groomer, but now he thinks "Going to see Susan" is a special treat. He cannot run in to Perk-N-Pooch fast enough! He LOVES it. Our groomer, Susan, is PATIENT, so sweet, knowledgeable, and does the BEST job ensuring Shep has the best doodle cuts. Cannot recommend Perk-N-Pooch enough. The facilities are so clean and every member of their staff is so kind and truly loves dogs. They are the best of the best!

Sometimes you’ll find groomers who aren’t very interested and won’t even respond to you properly in the consult room. And some groomers are actually very nice. They groom and cut well. Sometimes you need to remind them to trim the face and some areas which they can miss, or express glands, clean ears, etc. again, it depends who you get. Some are great, and 1-2 have been lazy and not done that WOW job.

They have a super convenient app and website! I was able to make an appointment for my dog to be groomed very last minute, same day if I believe. It was also around the holidays, they managed to get him groomed nicely and quickly! He even got their deshedding service and was in and out within 3 hours. Lastly, it was so affordable! Definitely will be back!
