I went in looking for a new collar for my male schnauzer and found a great quality one in his color (green). It is hard to tell it is green in the attached photo due to the artificial light, but it is a nice dark green. It will last him for many years to come! The next time I go, my dogs are going with me!

Continually wildly understaffed, even though they close quite early. It seems like every time I try to shop here in aquatics I end up leaving after 20 minutes without being helped, even when there’s no one else waiting in line. If corporate refuses to staff the store properly to handle anything other than cat litter and dog toys, they should not have the other departments.

Came into to get a few supplies and stood in the check out lane for 15 minutes waiting on anyone to show up to check me out. Found someone named Brittnay and politely let them know I’ve been Standing up here for a while and asked if she was able to check me out and she proceeded to have such an unpleasant attitude telling me “well I was over there - This is a business after all sooo” like yeah Brittnay I know this is a business I’m trying to check out. I work in a retail environment too and as a manager I would have apologized for the inconvenience not yell at my customer and proceed to have a nasty attitude the whole transaction. I get retail and staff shortages I have no issue waiting but I do have an issue with nasty employees.

Worst customer service!!! I got charged twice for the same transaction. Manager of the store told me I had to get in contact with customer service, customer service said they couldn’t do anything about it because they didn’t know how to. Both manager and customer service representative “Layla” argued with eachother on the phone. The customer service representative told me I would receive a call from a manager as she put a “call back request in” 2 months later I called back. No call back was requested she made it all up.

I have to give a big shout out to Hannah! She helped me so much when I was in there looking for stuff for when my dog had surgery to help him heal. Hannah knew exactly what I was looking for and helped me with a wonderful alternative than an uncomfortable cone for him to wear. Hannah also helped me pick out the right shampoo for dogs with sensitive skin. She was so personable and so sweet and I can tell she really loves her job. She was very knowledgeable and should be recognized for her Outstanding customer service!

I absolutely love this Petco. Their grooming staff is the best! I usually only get my dog's nails done and they are so sweet with her. She is a nervous girl but she has gotten comfortable going there thanks to the kindness and care of their staff (especially Haruko P, In K & Chyna). I've since moved away from Roswell and now I drive 35 minutes one way to bring her here (when there are closer options) because they are that good . Thank you!!! -Elizabeth and Sadie :)

The two ladies that groomed by dog yesterday are the prime reason I will not be returning. I know one is Insuk, I don't know the other ones name. 1) They were yanking my dog by the temporary leash before I had even gotten the harness off of him (check the cameras). I had to say "woah woah woah!"2) She pretty much kept lecturing me when I came to pick him up which made me very uncomfortable. I hadn't brought our dog since October because of the holidays and other things. I clean his ears and brush his teeth at home. He's a husky. He is pretty much a self cleaning dog. I maintain doing quick fur cleanses and blowdrying at home in between. SO much so that I constantly get compliments on how clean he is. This also isn't his season to shed. With that being said she questioned me on why I hadn't come, if I had gone somewhere else, and then told me that was the reason he was shedding so bad. Which he isn't. Trust me, I know when he's shedding bad. I have to live with him. lol Even when I kinda gave her a simple answer she just kept going on on and then started talking about how I need to get him neutered because it would be better for him. That's literally none of her business! Every groomer or vet I've ever taken Ice to has only raved about how he's the most well behaved husky that they've seen.3) She told me I have been getting charged wrong and that next time they are going up on his price. Petco is the only groomer I've gone to in the past year. I pay for Premier. I originally signed up for him to be a large dog our very first visit after I adopted Ice and the groomer at the other location said he's not a large dog and changed him to medium for me. So why all of a sudden is it different?! He's been full grown for over a year! Even the vet hasn't changed the size he is.I will NOT be returning to this location. I've never seen my dog run to the car so fast. I usually have to fight him to get him in the car after the seeing the groomer because he's so happy. Do better Petco. I'd rather drive to the further location then return to this location as long as this groomer is there.

Pretty good when it’s actually open. They near constantly change their hours without notice. We needed a cone for a dog who just got out of surgery, but they close at 7pm, instead of 8pm like on the google website (which was confirmed by the store 3 weeks ago).

Just came here for accessories for my pet snake. Usually I don't get much help at pet stores but at this location KC and Ken went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience shopping. Ken was very knowledgeable about the reptiles and helped me pick the right accessories. Kc seems very enthusiastic about helping customers find what they need and they both helped me bring my cart to my car. I was not expecting the great customer service and it was a great change from the norm.

Store has really gone down hill over the past year or so, but that aside manager was very crass with me when I asked about potentially placing a fish order. Stating "you need to go to the mall of GA, the list of things I can order is absolutely laughable" and carried on about his business. 10/10 would not recommend for any of your aquatic needs minus dry goods.

The most friendly, informative, and helpful staff I've ever encountered at a petco!! While visiting here with my children to purchase a couple of aquariums, a wonderful staff member engaged my children with the opportunity to watch turtles being fed.She then helped me look up some prices and pulled the said items for purchase. 100% awesome. I wish I had remembered her name!!

I saw another review below doing a shout out for Hannah and I had to add to that!! Hannah helped me with bringing a new guinea pig home today. She was incredibly sweet, helpful, and she cares so much about the animals that are at the store. We can’t thank her enough!!Also, every other employee that we’ve come across at this location the past couple of months has been great too and makes us continue to choose them over the other big box pet store.

Terrible store these people don’t respect your time or anything. Store was open I was inside trying to purchase a product had it in my hands then was told the store isnt open yet and I could purchase item. It’s was 9:45 am. They wanted me to wait till 10am to purchase. So I was told to leave the store. Never going here again. Going to tell everyone about this experience where the customer doesn’t matter. Looks like you guys don’t need business.

We came into Petco looking for a new harness for our dog and Whitney was super helpful and knowledgeable! She was able to recommend a great harness and our dog Hanzo and was helpful in finding the perfect size. She was great and you can tell she really loves animals.

Went to buy some cat food and when I opened it, there were maggots in it. I went back to the store at 7:30pm, but it was already closed. The store hours were posted to be closed at 8pm… Now I had to go rush somewhere else to buy food for my cat. DISGUSTING!

Staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Have assisted with care of several animals. Everyone from saltwater fish to felines to canines to pond care. This is the pet store with local pet store feel.

Wednesday October 26th a baby squirrel ran up to me, climbed on my leg, arm and sat on my shoulder. I tried to place him on the ground the little thing did not want to leave me. I drove to Petco with the baby squirrel for advise and a cage. I arrived at 8:01 the store closes at 8:00 pm. Max instantly new my plight and offered assistance. Mark also came to my rescue. Both Max and Mark shared their wisdom with me. Their unselfish act continued by putting a cage together complete with everything I needed.Harvey the little baby squirrel remains on my shoulder as I nurse him back to health. I will release Harvey in my courtyard when he is fit to be on his own.A big thank you to Max and Mark for their exceptional customer service. Most of all for their big hearts in saving a baby squirrel.

General pet store with decent selection of various foods and pet supplies. Took off two stars due to the multiple instances of having to wait for 5 minutes at the checkout area while there are no staff in site. I understand staffing issues are a general concern for businesses right now but if there's no way for the customer to notify when they need to check out it leads to a negative experience overall.
