I’ve been bringing Chloe (now 15) to Four Paws Grooming for about 10 years. She’s a Bolognese and has hair like cotton….not the easiest to manage. They always take good care of her and treat her like she’s their pet. I keep her on the 6 week program. Every 2 weeks she gets a bath-bath-groom. My neighbors and people on the street ask me how I keep her so white. Linda (the owner) is the best and the ladies working there are super nice and attentive. We won’t go anywhere else.

Prices have nearly doubled since we started taking our dog about a year ago. Seems every visit brings a new service that needs to be done on that visit. The fact that they will take your animal on a Saturday first come first service before 10am is a plus just not worth the extra cost. Also the actual grooming service is good.

I have been taking my sweet Paisley here since I got her at 8 weeks old once a week and she is now 8 months old, I wouldn't dream of taking her anywhere else! Paisley loves everyone there and she looks beautiful and smells so good every week when I pick her up! Everyone there is very loving and kind to every pet that I've witnessed walk through the door. I highly recommend Four Paws.

I can’t say enough good things about Four Paws. My sweet dog was 19 and her regular groomer refused to groom her anymore since she was “old”. I had been trying to groom her myself but she looked terrible. I knew her time was limited and all I wanted was for her to be beautiful before she crossed over the rainbow bridge. I called and was told to bring her right in. I was in tears talking to the owner and she was so incredibly kind and compassionate. My sweet Bailey left there absolutely beautiful and I couldn’t have been more pleased.

After many trips to unnamed groomers in the Pooler area and unsuccessful teddy bear cuts for our goldendoodle. Four Paws always gets it right with our family Goldendoodle. They are pricy but so worth it. We get stopped on the street and Jack our goldendoodle gets the best compliments about how amazing he looks! These ladies work for many hours and it shows. Thank you for keeping our Jack handsome! We won't go anywhere else!

Wish I would’ve read the reviews before using them. Her responses to some of these reviews shows their poor professionalism.I would describe the Owner as very nice nasty. But whoever called me regarding my pup being picked up was sooooooo rude. It’s not what u say it’s the delivery. Since that day my baby has had these big scabs on her that resulted to us going to the vet.I prefer to stay at wolf gang and not return!

This was the first time I have ever got my puppy's nails cut, she was 3 months at the time. They made nearly all of her nails bleed. To this day, I have NEVER heard her in that much pain. When they gave her back, I picked her up and I got blood all over myself. I was shocked to see just how much she was still bleeding, even after repeatedly dipping her nails in the powder. The owner was very rude and insensitive. I was obviously upset about my dog being hurt and she told me that my dog will " probably be okay" and to basically get over it. After that, I just paid the money and left! I wish I could rate this place even lower! I should have known not to go there when they were able to get me in right away. I guess everyone else knew not to take their dogs here! If you love your pet, DO NOT DO COME HERE!!

****Poor Service & Unfair Pricing**** I Was visiting family in Georgia after traveling from Sacramento for the holidays & called to get my dog (lab/pit mix) & my sister’s dog (English bulldog) bathed. They told me over the phone they would quote me a price after seeing the dogs in person. We Had our husbands drop the dogs off & they came back without a price quote. Being a college-educated licensed veterinary technician of over 5+ years, I was concerned with lack of consistency with what I was told on the phone. When we came back to pick them up, the groomer asked us our dogs ages before giving a price. My sister’s dog is 6 months & mine is almost 2 years. The groomer then said hers would be $35 and mine $50 only after hearing the age difference- and we both ordered the same services. She said both of our dogs did great. I was shocked at the cost difference, but we paid and left- and we expressed disinterest in signing up for their loyalty program when they asked. We noticed that their fur was washed & nails trimmed, but the ears were still noticeably dirty & the groomer didn’t mention performing any other services (eat cleaning, anal glands, furminating, drying, etc.). FYI, Petsmart usually charges $29 for all the above services plus a lot more (and this goes for CA as well as in GA). The dogs smelled decently clean, but they needed to pee as soon as we walked out the door (so they had not gotten any potty breaks either). This groomer is unfairly priced & did not pay attention to details or offer to provide additional services the dogs clearly needed. As a veterinary professional, I would advise that you use anyone else who is more attentive, educated, and fairly priced.

When we first started using them, it was friendly service, but a little too pricey!! And if you miss your date to come in, Oh!! You have to start over with a new plan!!! Didn't have a good smell after grooming. Just be careful people.

I've taken my Malti-Poo, Biscuit, here several times and have been nothing but satisfied. I am pretty picky when it comes to how he is cut and haven't been disappointed by them yet. My pup always seems happy when I pick him up and he looks and smells so good. Ilove the puppy plan which allows you to bring your pet back for 6 weeks to be bathed for a very reasonable fee. Karen even gave me some tips on how to keep his beautiful coat from becoming matted. I am so happy I found them. Thank you Karen for always doing a great job!! My pup and I are happy customers!!!

Very unhappy with the service at this groomers. Honestly, I was reluctant to write a review with businesses starting back after Covid but the owner, Linda, does not have a problem spending your money for you! I was given a price to board my dog and she added on extras, never asked for my permission and landed me with a bill double the price I should have paid. I had even asked her not to do certain things and she went ahead and did them anyway, what is the point of telling someone what you want and then you take it into your own hands to do what you want!The last time I was in here I heard the owner & another assistant screaming at the dogs, it sounded like they were out of control. I would question taking your dogs to this groomer, not at all honest in her dealings. Very dissatisfied with this place!!

I find this funny because you “The Pet Lover” called animal control, the next day after the puppy was picked and filed a false report to get the “poor baby” put down. Why wasn’t I made aware that he bit you prior to you being reported??? I wouldn’t recommend you to anyone, your customer service skills suck, you’re very rude, unprofessional and a liar. Please review all the other complaints, I’m not the ONLY one who complained, so I can’t be making this up. You’re old and miserable. Stop having friends and family post the false reviews.

Absolutely horrible service. The little 12 year old looking girl told us it will be $55 to cut my dogs hair ok fine go back to pick her up and now its $90. All I wanted was a hair cut and they ended up doing things without permission. Knew it was off when every other dog grooming place was packed busy and this one was not. I should've waited until another groomer had openings.

This was my usual groomer for about 2 or 3 years and I was always content with their work. It usually wasn't what I was imagining but it did the job well enough to keep my dogs from overheating in the summer. However last time I took them in they shaved too close to my dogs privates and he caught an infection that I was luckily able to heal at home and not spend hundreds st the vets getting it treated. But my poor boy had to wear a diaper contraption for a week and was miserable. On top of that they have nicked both my dogs many times. I was just so upset this last time around I dont even want to bother going back since I was never really thrilled with the results anyways Their cut was always uneven and it always looked like at least one leg was skipped.

Management is horrible does not know how to speak to customers correctly begged us to get on puppy plan we did it I had to be to work at 8 got there at 730 no one was there had to take my pup all the way back home google says they open at 7 when asking if I could come another day because I missed a day she stated no it has to be consecutive and it’s not my fault you didn’t see the sign on the door and that she does not care what google says. I was taken back at the way she spoke to me I asked for a refund and she said no that I would owe her money because the puppy plan is $75 picked my puppy up and he was crying and whining not sure why they have this plan in plaits no organization I will not be returning and I advise you all not to either

I have been a customer of this salon for years but the last several times I have taken my pups there it just gets worse and worse. I tried to be nice and hold my tongue as long as I could but it’s to the point where enough is enough. I understand I have 4 small pups and that is a lot, but I’m also paying a premium price to get them groomed and expect them to look their best when they are done. The last time I went in 2 of the girls that work there were yelling and fighting and I almost just wanted to walk out to never return. Then this time my 4 pups took the brunt of it and didn’t get the treatment they deserve. All of them still had mats in their ears after being “groomed.” Their ears were still dirty and 2 of them were shaved so close on the rear end they were raw and irritated. I have given this place over $200 each time for the last time and will no longer take my pups here. If anyone has another recommendation in the Pooler/Port Wentworth/Rincon area please let me know.

My mom took her baby here today for the first time. Never again when she picked her up there was something wrong with her eye it was red and blood shot. After taking her to the veteran they said it looked like they scratch her eye. Do not go here!!!

The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude. She kept talking over me and cutting me off. She couldn't answer 1 single question I had about the services they provide. She wouldn't stop yelling long enough for me to tell her what kind of dog i have and what temperament he has. She just kept naming different breeds and how they will cost more and when I attempted to interject she just talked over me.

I have 5 Yorkies. They all were in desperate need of grooming. I called on a Saturday and got an appointment for Tuesday for all 5 of them. Dropped them off in the morning and by 3pm they were all finished. They looked fantastic!!! Thank you so much!!! I’ll definitely be back 😊

Our chihuahua is 9 years old and has never come back from a groomer with bleeding nails. I am not one to spend time writing negative reviews but this is just not acceptable. This was our first and last time visiting this establishment.

Had a simple bath, nail trim and fur-minator done on our chocolate lab. He came back with significantly less hair and was very clean. My only complaint is the cost. A simple bath was $45, with $25 extra for the furmination.

UPDATE: 6 Months later. His butt hair has NOT grown back out. And there is even a missing patch of hair on his back. They may have ruined him for life. If they did ruin him for life than I will be expecting more than just management offering another crappy hair cut. YOU OBVIOUSLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING. SO DONT KEEP CUTTING!!!! YOU MADE IT WORSE. I wound even bother commenting on their bosses business approach to “help” solve the problem. Mainly b/c there wasn’t one.How is it possible to f#%¥ up so badly that the human dictionary hasn't come up with the words to describe my dog after his first hair cut?! His first!! I took my Chow puppy in to get a small trim. Specifically told her "Do NOT shave my dog. No shaving. Only trim a little hair." We even showed her pictures to ensure that he would not be shaved. She returned him naked. All of his hair except his head hair and tail was left. Are you serious? If you can't cut him the way we asked, than stop. Don't cut anymore. Simply find the curtesy to inform the puppy parents that they could not give him the trim we asked for. It's called common sense, which they were severely lacking in all departments. He had well over four inches of hair on his body. Your hand basically disappeared when you pet him. And he was brushed pretty often so there were no matting. She even cut his balls. HIS BALLS WERE BLEEDING. Can you imagine the pain he was in? Did you have to shave so close that my dog has to bleed? No, but it happened anyways. Thanks. Not appreciated. I was so angry I could not stop shaking. All they could do was go run and hide in the back as I stood there in disbelief. After I got him in the car. He was so distraught, he threw up chunks of treats. Some I recognized because we had left some chicken jerky and apple slices for him just in case. But then there were also chunks of red idk bacon bits or something red chunks. I don't know what it was. But he was also returned sick. Great. They just keep on giving. They shouldn't have been feeding my puppy other stuff, especially when they wouldn't have know if he could of been allergic to it. I didn't want to argue about money because my baby was hurt and I just wanted to get him out of that horrible establishment asap, so I paid and left. Still made a complain to the owner/manager. Or whatever they're pretending to call themselves as an attempt to salvage themselves the embarrassment of explaining how appalling and atrocious my baby was returned to me after entrusting them with his care and well being. No refund. That wasn't even possible with these "amaaaaaaazing" people. But they did offer a complementary hair cut. Yea sure lets find out in 5 months when his hair finally grows out... Honestly if you actually love your pet or was blessed with common sense. Do not take your beloved animals there. You wont know if they'll come back safe and well unlike mine. You've been warned.

She was so nice to take my dog last minute, and gave her a nice bath and trim. Please take your time to talk to them for what you really want and give details of your dogs so they can know your dog and get the process a little more relax for the dog.
