This store's parking lot is disgusting and the grounds are trashed,,,, and tree limbs need to be trimmed,,,, I would give this store a minus 10 (-1000) actually but I like shopping here as for friendly people inside-DOLLAR GENERAL511 HIGHWAY 80 W. POOLER GA 31302

One of the better DG's that I have been to. Very little clutter. Good selections. Found what I was looking for and 1/2 the price elsewhere. Friendly staff.

This place never have anything. They had no bleach on the shelves. Ask the lady I guess she's a manager. She said we may have some but we can't get to it. She's just Rude every time I come in this store. Went to family dollar there shelves was stock. And the store way more cleaner and organized. I was in this Dollar General around 11:30 .

This was the first dollar general in the Savannah area that was organized and tidy .I'm not kidding I've been to almost all of them. Don't get me wrong I really like the stores they almost always have what I need. It's just nice to go in one where the product is actually on the shelf. So help me I'm not kidding. Bottom line they got good prices and they have what you need in stock. And their everywhere you go

This store is in a very convenient location and the cashiers are usually very nice. There is so much inventory, they may need a bigger store. Also, it would be a good idea to hire people that stock supplies so that the store will always be organized. Why make the cashier handle customer service and stock the shelves? It leads to disorganization.

Ran in quickly for batteries. They had what I needed right at the register. The store was neat and tidy and the associate was friendly. As with most dollar store locations, the only attendant was also the cashier so I had to wait a bit, but overall not a bad visit.

My jaw literally dropped open when I stepped foot in this Dollar General store located on Hwy 80 West in Pooler, Georgia.The place was immaculately clean. The shelves were well stocked so there was no problem finding the items I came for. I could actually walk down the aisles without having to move boxes, storage carts or product out of my way. After the second aisle I saw an employee and stopped to let her know how impressed I was with the pride you could tell everyone who works here took in their job. She thanked me and acted really surprised I took the time out to speak with her. Every person I came in contact with was friendly, helpful and made me feel like I was important and they appreciated my business. (Psst...did I mention I now pass by 3 other Dollar General stores much closer to my home just because of the experience I had here?)

Hadn't been to this one and went in close to closing. Staff was fun, helpful, and engaged with customers.I happen to love Dollar general and storeslike it. Can find things I can't find at other places or packaging deals that I can't find at.larger chains.It can be a little messy but usually due to issues getting enough staff. What place doesn't have the problem now? Anyway, the three young ladies were ready to get off as I went in 10 min before closing, but they were funny and kind and helpful.

Dollar general needs tro go ahead and sell out . The stores have signs that say temporarily closed while I unload a truck be back in 2 hours. But there's no trucks in the parking lot, no employees car in the parking lot. So why build a store on every corner and none of them's open???

The staff here is AWESOME! Ms Brenda is our favorite! Clean store. We do a lot of our shopping here. Great prices too. Smiling faces mean so much in this cruel world!!!

Dollar General is always my last resort when looking for something. Walked in to this location and had try and work my way through the maze of junk and empty boxes laying everywhere. After walking the store looking for what I needed for about 15 min I finally asked a worker where the item was. Her response was picking up her cell phone to take a personal call and completely ignore me. So I walk around for another 20 min. Find what I’m looking for and go to the front. The cashier was also on her cel phone having a private conversation about how she’s late on her cycle and other personal information. Never once acknowledged any customer in front of her. Worst example of customer service I’ve ever seen. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Waaaay nicer than the one by Savannah Mall. Much better selection and friendlier staff as well. You can actually run in real quick, grab what you need, and then GO at this location. Product is easy to find and cashier is waiting to check you out!

They had nothing on shelves came in for 5 items and left with 2. Common items that I've gone into others DG's and left with. Employee was well seemed annoyed that I was there. So saying that ill not come back and be a bother. Sorry.

All discounted post-Valentine's day items were in one small area. Yet when I bought two pillows with big red hearts on them from that area I was told that the pillows were not discounted and still full price. Obviously Valentine's Day merchandise, on the same shelf as well as signs posted as discounted items. Not happy and cashier was cold and rude. Offered no apology. In fact, when I asked about the price on one unmarked item from the discounted section and changed my mind because it was still more than I wanted to pay, She took it upon herself to pull the pillows and set them out behind her without saying anything to me. I was surprised and told her I wanted those two pillows to which she replied "They're not discounted!" I explained that were were right there with all the rest of the discounted items and she just repeated herself without looking at me and added "They're full price, $8 each". So she assumed I wouldn't want them at full price because of the one item I had just changed my mind about and left them behind her. Very rude, no smile, no eye contact.

Just Visited there and apparently they don't know how to do their job.. I always use the coupons on my phone and went to use them today and got there was no coupons on my number and u simply showed it to her but still she didn't do nothing to fix it, also why sale phones if you don't know how to ring them up.. Please do better....

This store is very organized and well-stocked, but is typically understaffed. I've had to wait in line for 10+ minutes most of the time, but the location is convenient and it beats driving to Walmart when I only need a couple of things.

Jamie is the best he's has been my favorite employee since I can remember I was mad when he left me but I'm glad he is back some work is finally Getting done, no cluttered isles, and I never wait in line long, and most importantly he help me save by keeping me updated on sales and discounted item, I have 5 kids I gotta save all I can, thanks Jamie store manager

2019 this store was remodeled then went to junk. The workers are not paid enough. The store is not given enough hours to get ahead. I spoke to district manager. Well it's been 6 weeks and it's even worse. It's dirty and nasty. Nothing stocked. Lots of expired items. This store doesn't represent Pooler.

I usually shop here and today's visit really ticked me off. So I was behind 6 people and there were 6 behind me and when it was my turn a another associate came to the check out to open another registar. She said "I can get you on one" so I go to the first one and start to unload my stuff and all of a sudden the girl that was on 3 said " finish this customer I'll be right back". The girl from 3 runs out and comes back with a baby and a car seat and goes back behind the counter. Instead of calling me back the cashier that was opening 1 started to check out all the other customers.. SMH.. I have kids but still curtisy to let me know to come back to 3 would've been nice.. I don't think I'm gonna shop there much any more

Only had 1 cashier working, the rest of the girls were on break walking around or whatever. One girl stood behind the cashier and was talking to her the whole time everyone was waiting in line to get checked out. The only one that was working was I believe she said her name was que? Lots of product in the floors to be stocked, but no one working on it just sitting all in the way of shoppers.

I live in Bloomingdale Ga, and there is a Dollar General right across the street from me, within walking distance, but I have to go to the one in Pooler because their store has stocked shelves, and most of the time the cashier's are friendly. Bloomingdale NEVER has stocked shelves, you can't even walk down the isles because all of the stock is in the crates, blocking the isles, and the cashier's suck!

Service wasn't the greatest. Cashier told assistant she needed change and the assistant kept doing what she needed to do and waited to give her change.. as I waited the cashier ended up having enough change to give me. Assistant needs to put her cashier and customer service first.

The music is too loud and its always disorganized and cluttered. There is litter outside of store as well. There are much better locations where the employees take pride in tgwit store

The store is generally neat and clean. Be prepared to wait in line at times, as there is often on cashier. Also, read the ad tags to be certain you are buying the product that is advertised.

This is my favorite Dollar Tree location. Staff is always nice, store is always clean and the store remodel is an added plus. Dollar Tree has great sales on everyday items.

This place is newly renovated. All the staff are super nice and eager to help. This is a great place to shop if you're in a hurry on the way home.
