Scheduled my new puppies wellness visit as part of the agreement with his breeder to have him checked. The day prior to his appointment I began feeling ill so I’ve scheduled a back up appointment next week. The appointment scheduler ASKED me if I’d like to keep both appointments, I selected yes because if I made the original appointment I intended to cancel the second appointment so it’d be available to someone else. Allison, a member of the staff called me at 11am to confirm the second appointment-no one ever called to confirm the first appointment. I did not answer as I can confirm via the internet. I got in my car and drove 20 miles to an appointment not knowing that they cancelled it without even sending notice, no email no nothing-Allison knowing when she called what they were intending on doing. I had back surgery which was the reason for the thorough preparation and trying to meet the deadline of my breeder. I suffered through all that to arrive on time for my appointment and find out they cancelled it. ShamefulUpdate:I showed up for my new appointment as the text message requested 10 minutes early, and no one was there. I stood, at the front of the store looking for someone to assist me, nothing. An asian descent female walks in and states, we'll be open in another 10 minutes or so. Not hello, nothing, walks to the back. All the others begin to slowly trickle in. WHAT WAS THE POINT IN ASKING ME TO COME 10 MINUTES EARLY IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BE OPEN? Then, the coupon for the free checkup is merely a discount. Nothing here is free, they have upcharges and misc. fees that they add on to your visit, and they also choose to check your baby out in an enclosed room where you can't see, so you don't even know if the check up is completed correctly.

Went in to check out the Ferretts. Super cute, but at $399 a piece, that was sticker shock. Needless to say, my daughter still wants one, but it's not gonna happen. Very nice store and they have a large selection of fish and about every pet supply you can imagine.

Great place. I mainly come to this petco for my salt water aquarium. They have salt water and fresh water fish. They have quite a few aisles that are dedicated to the aquarium hobby. So if you need supplies, this is a good place to start. The staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. And whatever they do not know, their resourcefulness makes up for it. They have reptilians and cats. They have a lot of supplies for dogs and cats as well.Pro tip... make sure to check their website before you make any purchases in person, at the store. I have found that in more cases than not, the price on their website is different than what they are displaying on the shelf and so you will want to bring that up at the counter. They will price match. I have saved $100's of dollars over the years by checking their website first.

My 15 year old rescue dog that I adopted from Petco needs renal prescription dog food now, which I usually purchase at Petco. Today the store had no cans in stock but the associate I asked about it stated that she could order it for me. At the register, she told me that she couldn't help me order the dog food and to order online. Online I couldn't get past the sign in due to resetting my password. After about 20 minutes and zero success, I resigned myself to the fact that this was a colossal waste of time. I will purchase the dog food at my veterinarian's office, where live people there are always helpful and I can leave with said dog food. Oh, and for 50 cents less per can. I've had it with poor service at Petco.

Do not go here, not safe for your pet. Came in to have my dogs nails cut today 12/30 1pm. The female worker who did them needs to be properly trained. She handled him roughly and bent his leg in an unnatural position almost knocking him off the grooming table. With a smaller dog she would have caused great damage to his legs

Was very unhelpful I went to get fishes for my daughters no one was around to help and when they did come not very assisting. Once me and my girls decided on what kind of fish no help on additional items we needed, got home and realized I had to go back to another pet store for more items for the fish.

Vetco in peachtree city has a couple of techs that work there, have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I've already moved my furbabies records somewhere else...had 3 run ins with their hospital staff, not touching my babies!!!

Best customer service hands down! The caring an attentive attitudes of the employees, saved me another visit to the vet to diagnose what we(my vet & I) thought was an allergic reaction to medications. When in fact, it was “tennis ball lip burn”. My pup’s lips are getting back to normal as is my stress level. I can’t praise Sarah & Allison enough. P’Tree City Petco is the only store for me & my pooch! Thank you!

One of their employees snatched a cat toy from my 1 year old toddler who was playing with the kittens! She would occasionally hit the side of the cage which I was redirecting her not to do so, but AGAIN THAN SHE IS A TODDLER!!! The employee proceeded to rudely approach my toddler without a word and grabbed the toy from her and of course my toddler cries. She had the most terrible look on her face! All the other employees standing in the kennel stood there and watched this older lady do this. Please don't let your children interact with animals because the employees here don't have manners nor patience. This could have easily been a teachable moment for my ONE YEAR OLD CHILD, but this employee chose violence and traumatized myself and my kids!!!

Typical petco. It's an older model store, so it's bigger than the new ones... oddly enough that doesn't really improve the selection of products. Prices are higher than most other pet stores, and most of the time they won't price match. It's not too hard to find an employee at this location though, so if you need help, that's a plus. And the store has been clean and in order every time I've gone to this location. I also appreciate that they help find homes for small animals in need. I adopted two guinea pigs from here, who have been wonderful additions to the family.

My roommate took their cat in to be checked out. We learned he had feline aids and ended up putting him down. The staff and doctor were kind, and very comforting.
