This was my first time in this store. Customer service help was hard to find in the departments. The store was large and very busy. I really expected the lawn and garden area to have a better selection . Checkout was easy and the cashiers were friendly, nice, helpful, and very happy.

Great place to visit in the early am (7:30) because there’s no one. The proportion of employees to customers is huge so you feel good asking questions and people are in a good mood because they haven’t dealt with people all day.

This was my first time visiting the Home Depot in Fort Oglethorpe and just like every other trip to the Home Depot, I found the store clean, organized, and the aisles were free of land mines, giving me a clear path to the electrical department where I picked up a Nickel Pull Chain Switch and some Bullet Splice needed to repair the ceiling fan I managed to destroy while visiting my sister's home in Ringgold. As an added bonus, I had no trouble finding a knowledgeable sales associate to assist me. So, Home Depot remains "My Happy Place", even though every trip I make means another project.Also, it hasn't escaped me that an organized store with knowledgeable staff equals great management!

They had what I needed, and the staff was helpful. Staff member Desney Morgan came to my rescue in finding a floor lamp for me. She went out of way to get what I needed . Thanks Desney Morgan, you are the type of person that makes me want to shop at Home Depot!

Found every quick and easy. The prices of wood has gone down a time! Thank goodness! So we again started to buy wood. Lost of great deals we walked by as well. Love being able to use self check out. Less people touching stuff that I am. And I’m thankful for that!

an employee who was in his 20s or 30s with long dark hair and a beard heard us calling to him for help, looked at us, and went the other direction without a word ...and that was after we had tried to make eye contact with 2 or 3 other employees who looked straight ahead, lest we bother them...then we met Stephanie in tiling, and she was amazing...she was very patient and helpful, and even let us know about a cart full of 50% off items we hadn't noticed...I would give HER a 10 star out of 5, but I'm rating a three because we had to go through 3 other apathetic (one downright rude) employees before we found Stephanie

Worst experience today. I was called a lier by Mike in lawn care. And Home depot failed to honor their warranty that magically vanished because home depot changed credit card companies. Thieves. My company will no longer conduct business with home depot.

I was installing a dishwasher and because your employees in the plumbing department don’t know how plumbing works I had to revisit the store 7 times over 2 days. The last part was the wrong size I learned after returning it 3 times. I have receipts to prove this. I measured nd the part was defective and they said it s a distributor problem not a store problem. I asked if they would remove the items and they said the same again. If they are going to keep bad parts on their shelves that is not the kind of business I want to work with. 7 trips for. Dishwasher install is not ok. Train your employees and customer service representatives on how to do their jobs and not be rude to customers and take their jobs seriously. I went to Lowe’s and walked out the door with what I needed and completed the job in 10minutes in the store. I will never visit this store again.

Being a DIY guy, I go here often. Love the selection of tools and lumber. The only drawback I have ever encountered is that any of the appliances I was wanting to buy was not stocked. This is my Black Friday go to place for tools. Great deals and festive atmosphere. Always looking forward to that.

It would be nice to come in and the associates have a general knowledge of where items are and not say “you can always go to the internet and look it up” …I’m not even having this conversation.

you better know exactly where the thing you're looking for is located bc there is no chance in h*!! You're going to find someone to help you. There are too many young kids working that don't know where anything is at, which end of a hammer to hold, or why you're even bothering them

A group of concerned people were trying to catch a sick cat roaming near Home Depot and other stores to get it to the vet. One employee using a forklift was extremely rude, didn’t care at all about the cat’s situation and that we were only just trying to get the cat away from some stacks of potting mix outside for a few minutes and not be in his way. What a jerk who also clearly had issues with women. I personally will think twice about ever buying from this store who hires jerks like him.

This location DOES NOT honor warranty on their products. My brother went up there for this specific reason recently and they gave him nothing but problems on trying to use his warranty on a drill. If you plan to use your warranty if something breaks, it might be best to find a different hardware store.

I visit this store a lot. Employees are really good about answering questions or directing you to the person who knows. A week ago I was approached by a woman with a Home Depot apron asking questions about my water quality and mentioned getting a gift card for giving my email address. Haven't received anything. Has anyone else had this experience?

Hard to find/get help. Went grill shopping, picked one out, and took forever to find someone with the keys so we could actually get it. The associate that did help was great, but he was on a quest for the key find that took a while. The whole experience took about 1hr and a half, which I consider a long time.

Went to investigate recess lighting to replace some old light fixtures. Jerome helped us and showed me some flush mount lights that were much easier to put up and look very good. He took his time and answered all my questions. Great service.

Generally like this store. But do not ever order an appliance to be delivered by their hokey delivery service. Had to block an airbnb off from being rented 3 times so far because they tell me its going to be delivered and then at the very end of the day, after altering my schedule and losing money, they simply don't show up. After 7pm, I'm told it will be Monday. Its on the truck, its been on the truck all day but 3 reschedules now and still no appliances. It seems like they really don't care at all.
