My wife went today to get some balloons, it was a newer employee helping her but she was kind courteous and if she didn’t know she asked for help. Kudos to the manager as well for being willing to help train and teach your employee. Everyone was great today and you have probably earned her business from here on out. Great to see good employees and managers who support them.

I am new EMPLOYEE there and I LOVE my Store Manager! Everyone respects each other and are friendly.This is the best Store to get all your ONE STOP SHOPPING done! The Prices are always Low and affordable. So Hurry! Come shop at Dollar General store for life!!

If I could give Diane an employee at this store 10 + stars I would great person very helpful. I broke down at near by store and she wàs very helpful in getting me a correct number to the store my car was at and also sent a mesg to the manager to insure my car is safe and informed I'm coming to get it and sent my info for them to call me. This is above and beyond the call of duty and just a human caring for another in need. Good job dollar general this lady needs to be recognized

There was 13 people in line. Only one person was in the store. There was another but she claimed she couldn't help, she was in the back unloading a truck? It's great people but they need more help. Every single time I go in there, there is a line. EVERY SINGLE TIME. People was very upset, several walked out. They lost money. Because they need more help running that store. I go often, it's by my house. But almost not worth the time you are guaranteed to stand in line. We all came together and let an older lady go in front of all of us in line because she had cans and couldn't hold them any longer. They just need more help hired in that store. Employees are kind though.

The workers don't know how to handle situations. Two people were working and one couldn't handle the situation going on, they both called the manager while the line had 9 more orders. They could have handled it alot better and provided customer service but we all waited for over 10 minutes before anything was said to us.

Great customer service, they greet you when you come through the door. the employees are very friendly, helpful and courteous. Great place for a quick late night run to the store and when you don't want to go to Walmart and especially on Sundays when Quality Foods are closed. A great Mini Mart.

We stood in line for more than 20 minutes and there were MORE than two people working there. They only had one cash register open and the line was backed up to the snack isle the entire time I was in the store. There had to have been at least 15 people in line or more and there were NO BUGGIES AND NO BASKETS!!! We had to hold everything in our hands for 20 minutes while we stood in line. The cash register lady was taking her sweet time and acting as if she didn’t acknowledge the long line.. If I could give 0/10 stars I would!!! Never going back to this DG! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WORK ETHICS!!!!

They really need to concentrate on cleaning the store and instead of pulling U-boats out on the floor and leave them get someone to put products on the shelves. I've never seen this particular store in this bad of shape! It's unfortunate but I will not be returning anytime soon.

This store needs major HELP!!! The outside parking lot has trash every where looks bad. The inside 👎It's ALWAYS no matter what time of day you go its crazy mess,dirty,shelf not stock, one line open, stuff is every where and lots more stuff. FYI The restrooms "Don't use" Gross!! Across town close to jail that DG nice

I found what i was looking for. When my wife asked the cashier a question she just rolled her eyes. She was also extremely loud. The front outside of the store leaves much to be desired. We did not feel safe.

This is my go-to place for the basics. It is the only shop this side of town that you can grab a t-shirt for your hubby, some bubbles for the kids, and a loaf a bread. The staff is always friendly and the store is well-stocked.

Place still has wonderful pricing and someone must havr went to school or recent training on marketing after seeing the collection of toys that are along the aisle through checkout it sells all the toys they have trouble getting rid of as the kids walk by with mama and Daddy to check out!

They really need to get it together they only had one guy at the cash register online backed up past the front doors down one of the aisles it was all the poor boy could do to get the people out and it was just him by itself they shouldn't do him that way the boy that was working was so nice couple positive attitude about it .

I enjoy shopping at this location because it's close to my house and they always have what I need. The management staff is always helpful and parking is easy to find. Thanks DG for opening up this new store so close to my house.

Sping Street location in Monroe. I dont like low reviews but this store just does not seem to try. Very messy and unorganized. I know it is a busy location but the few times we go in it looks like a bull has run through. Compared to others DG's this one needs help.

My only real complaint about this place is the checkout process...this is the slowest Dollar General with the most employees I've ever seen lmao its ridiculous smh...they always leave the older guy out front to check people out which ALWAYS takes forever..they be doing my boy dirty. He has to hate it there. 😂

It's great except they always seem to be understaffed and I know that is not the employees fault, but for as busy as they are the managers need to schedule more people. I was in there yesterday and that poor cashier was there all alone and it was ridiculously busy.

I rarely make my trips to Monroe, GA. However, with that being said, I showed up to this establishment at 8:58pm on February 27th, 2020. As I approached the door., I noticed they werent opening (as they are automatic doors). Therefore, I attempted to open them by hand only to find that the doors were locked. As I made eye contact with an employee who was reaching for a broom, I made the hand signals as I was mouthing "are y'all closed"? He nodded his head as what I assumed a "yes, which then proceeded to walk away. Upon approaching the store. I noticed the sign that stated "Open :8am-10pm everyday"... Apparently they are fairly known for this false advertisement according to what I was informed from the next dollar General I want to. Needless to say, I wont be conducting anymore business with this location nor will I be refering them to anyone.

Need more workers behind the counters and as much traffic in and out the store rhey have tbey could stand to carry more.maybe even expand the store a little. Its always super busy and somwtime youbin line behind 6 or people waiting 10 to 15 min

Prices are great...but the stock buggies are in isles...very hard to get around with your own cart...store either needs to stock at night or before they open in the mornings.

Don't like that you can't even use the Dollar General app on store while on their guest wifi. Seems like they would want you to be able to shop at the store. Even employees can't access app.

This is a great Dollar General, the is always clean and the manager Art and staff always provide outstanding customer service, no matter what time of day or night, this store is always clean and shelves stocked.

It's a mixed bag.Great prices but most Dollar Generals are messy,understaffed and have long lines. On the plus side,go at an unbusy time and it's a better shopping experience

The isles are always crowded with junk. One white male cashier talks to much. And makes the other people wait in line longer than need too.the store is dark u can hardly see what ur looking for..

You guys know you're the best out of all the rest hahaha 😂😆😅😀just want to say thank you to all of you guys for all the hard work you do and putting yourselves maybe In Harm's Way but also keeping yourself safe to the best of any of our ability like to say thank you guys for serving us for 10 years and we pray that will be here 10 more years this picture I'm pretty sure someone will know somebody out of it. if not me I know somebody knows the man in it his name is Euladee but most people know him by jelly and he's my husband and he works with the private school the bridge of Georgia for autistic children's and yesssssss he just turned 9 years old July the 18th God bless 🙏🏿😇😘😘😘us with him 19 years later boy what an amazing blessing it was. So I'll leave you with prayers for the facility as well as your families stay safe and wear your mask😷😷😷
