Dr Washington has gone above and beyond to assist me with both of my animals this week. My 12 year old Lab Lady has some issues with her ears and Dr Washington has stepped up and personally handled every detail of this weeks visit.She recommended the laser treatment and it’s helped Lady with her pain and inflammation. The culture they recommended me to have done is expensive and the last visit with her I didn’t do the culture.Since this ear infection is a reoccurring one she mentioned doing the culture would save us both time and money in the future by prescribing the right meds instead of waiting and guessing.She took the time.She even called to check on Lady the next day.Her warmth, reassurance and care has renewed my faith in this establishment.Dr Washington took the time.Thank you!

A bit expensive for veterinary care but you get what you pay for. The staff are incredible. The doctors are friendly. And they actually seem concerned about your pet. They were able to squeeze me in the same day I called which other vets that I called had told me I would have at least a 3 to 5 week waiting time before they could get me an availability. Will definitely recommend their services.

My German shepherd has been here multiple times. He doesn't like strangers around him and does bark. We muzzle him and maintain control of him and have NEVER had issues with him getting his shots. Today, we were told the dr was not comfortable seeing him and we were told we could leave him so they could sedate him to give him his shots. He is 9 years old and we have never been turned down for getting his shots. I recommend going somewhere else if you have large dogs.

Never again. Brought my cat here last week told me to come back for a follow up in about week. Came in today because the cat hasn't improved. The only thing done was the vet said he looks skinny and then brought me a quote for 700 for x-rays This appointment was for the exact same reason for the very first appointment less than six days ago To charge 60 dollars for them to stick up thermometer in his butt and to bring me a piece of paper saying I would have to pay 700 Is complete Greed The vet literally spent less than 60 seconds With the cat.. lesson learned . I should've trusted the Google reviews before coming here.. also I hope you guys bring your outdoor cat inside when it's below freezing

It was my Granddaughter's cat! Scam! Scam! Scam! Gave me a $1,000.00 bill and after reviewing going over it, it was determined that it should have been only $300. For some reason the stupid dr./techs tell you steroids do not affect the kidneys. Will drive far and wide to avoid this place.

I was told my dog tested positive for heartworms and given this expensive treatment plan. I did ONE MONTH of treatment. I took her to another vet a year later and she tested negative for heartworms. Make it make since.

The staff have taken great care of Lil Missy since she was 7 weeks old. At 7 months she has had to be boarded 1-2 times a month so I can return to MO for treatments. They take care of her like she was theirs and Missy loves them. She is thriving thanks to Heart of Georgia Animal Care.

Absolutely would not use them again. I dropped my dog off for shots and a bath, and he came home with an eye and leg injury. Supposedly, he got his nail caught in the tub drain and panicked which let to the injuries, however he does not have nail with any severe damage. They did not call me to notify me of the incident; I was informed before they brought him to me when I arrived to pick him up. At best, his injuries are the result of neglectful handling and improper setup. I still question whether it was truly an accident, but I have no way of knowing. They don't have cameras in the bath area to show the incident.Last year, I had to leave my little dog for a day to get her teeth cleaned and she was in an anxious/panicked state for 3 days after I brought her home. At the time I thought she was just pouting because she had to spend a day at the vet, but looking back she was completely out of character and I question what the true cause was.After I made a public social media post I received messages stating that this is not the first time their animal handling procedures have been questioned. I so wish I had known that prior to using them.Cameras need to be installed in all areas of this place.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. The staff was kind and helpful. I appreciated their assistance due to the fact I walk with a cane and had difficulty handling my dog along with his meds as I went to my car. My Teddy was treated well and everything was explained including condition, treatment, and cost. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their animals seen by a veterinarian.

If you’re looking for an easy and good vet experience, this is the place. I’m a first time pet owner and they made the process simple and manageable. The staff is extremely friendly and send text reminders for appointments and confirmation, setting the appointment was an easy process, and they handled check in swiftly. The vet was super friendly as well and explained everything to me in simple terms. I got a break down, itemized list of treatments which I could alter accordingly, and was allowed to do so. For a first time pet owner, this really is the place to go. They took care of me and Tofu better than I could have hoped for!

So love this place! Had to go in with our mature midnight, thought for sure it would be his last time with us. They provided advice and medication as well as laughs and many smiles. So very happy to report to that midnight is back to his fun-loving self! They are now our new vet for our other three!!

The entire experience although it was heartbreaking was made more bearable because of the caring and compassion of the entire office staff. They went above and beyond to try and save our Daytona's life. We had her for 10 short years but she brought us such joy and happiness ...she cannot be replaced...but when we are ready we will be bringing our next fur baby here....they we great ❤🙏

I had an appointment in regards to sick pet. The appointment time was recognized at the time I arrived; I was assigned to a patient room. Waiting time for Dr. Washington to evaluate my cat's condition was reasonable. Because my cat's condition called for a more serious health resolution than I was prepared to handle, the doctor gave me a less radical option. Staff was very helpful and courteous.

We were in the area for 4th of July weekend and my pup had a tragic accident. We were not close to our regular vet clinic so I started calling around.Heart of Georgia took us in right away and gave us the care we needed.
