Truly cannot say enough good things about this location! Everyone is awesome! We did a 6 week puppy training class with Ameche and he is THE BEST! Our pup loves him and it was almost like a weekly new puppy parent therapy session for my husband and I! haha. Ameche taught him some basic commands and gave us confidence to train him with more on our own. We also get Milo groomed here and they always do a great job!

Why would they do my dog like this. I’m so disappointed. I guess they knew it was a horrible job because they didn’t charge me, but my dog had been acting traumatized since she got home yesterday. I would not recommend for grooming at all. The last pick is how she should look after a proper groom 🤬🤬🤬

This is the only Petco that actually cares about the well-being of their fish, the betas all get tended to regularly and they don’t overstock betas like the one down the street, it’s a disgusting practice to put 50 betas on the shelves and not care that half of them will die before getting sold. Anyways this is the only Petco I will spend my money because of this

I had my two dogs trimmed today. One dog Leo us extremely shy and nervous. Savannah and Daniel managed to take care of him, it went so beautifully for him. The other, Lucy was taken care of by Drew, it went so smoothly.I will definitely be coming back here. The crew here is so kind! Thank you all so much !

I regret to say that my recent experiences at Petco have left me feeling disappointed. Despite making several appointments, I have encountered last-minute cancellations due to groomer unavailability. Furthermore, when I finally managed to secure a slot, my Maltese was deemed too matted for grooming. In contrast, I have found Barking Hound Village to be accommodating and reliable. At this point, I am considering taking my business elsewhere.

It really ticks me off that I provide my phone number for rewards and discounts, but the cashier doesn’t alert me that there’s money available. Why even be at Petco and participate in the rewards program if rewards are not offered???After my purchase at Petco, I happened to be checking my Gmail account, only to learn that I had reward money that was about to expire. I should have notified there was money available by the cashier at time of purchase.That sucks.

The employees are very nice and the store usually has what I need in stock but there are some issues. The reptiles are not kept in proper environments. To small enclosures, low humidity for the ball pythons, improper hide. The kittens that are there from a rescue are not in good conditions most of the time. Two weeks ago I saw a half dead kitten in the cage laying in his feces. I alerted staff and asked them to take him out. I saw the same kitten a week before looking sick, with poop crusted on his tail. I contacted the rescue to check up on the kitten and they said he was put down and his condition was due to seizures. I don’t believe that at all. Maybe staff and the rescue can communicate better about the conditions of the kittens/cats.

This place is great! When I first rescued my dog, he wasn't eating anything. They let me try different foods a day then return if he didn't like it. It took many times till he finally decided on a certain brand of food. They were also very professional about many questions I had about my new dog. Thanks!

I'll start off saying that this location has a vast amount of products and supplies but thier customer service is a 1. There is no one to help with products or information in the back and the 3 yes 3 employees stood up front by the registers even when I asked for help. So for me it was a 5 for products and availability of items but a 1 for customer assistance.

Sam , stated he is the grooming manager. Please don't let him touch your dog. I have been taking my two Maltipoo for over 2 years to grooming. Today Sam for the time called after 3 hours of waiting " he couldn't groom my dogs because they couldn't stay put ,he doesn't want them to hurt.. One of my dog was so scared and pooped on herself, never done that before. So he partially did my two dogs and they look horrible. He doesn't have any experience, I feel like he abused my dogs .

Got an adorable ryukin yesterday. I named him Chompy and he's healthy so far, and loves digging around the sand and trying to eat the bubbler. The store was very nice to visit, and the sales associate James was very kind and helpful! He sold me on trying a planted tank again, so I'll definitely be back one day to see what live plants I can make grow in my tank to help with the nitrates, and give my water piggies some extra vegetation to snack on lol. I like when pet store workers know and care about their fish, and it makes me glad I got such a healthy goldfish. If I go into a place and their fish are sick or dying, I walk out. I'm really happy that wasn't the case here.

I used this Petco for years to get my Husky groomed. I recently tried to get him groomed again and there is a new receptionist. Shefailed to identify my dog which led to him being there for 4 hours and never got groomed. When I spoke with hre on the phone to try to get an appointment she hung up the phone on me. I made an appointment on line and she called me today to let me know that they were cancellling his appoint ment because of the way they were treated. She refused to let me talk to the manager and hung up the phone again. This type of behavior is very unprofessional and the only one who is hurt by this is my dog Koga. I will not be returning to this.

I had booked a vaccine appointment at 5:50 pm arrived at 5:51 walked in through doors. Lady said she had to cancel the appointment because we were late. Never have I had any issues with Petco until now. One less customer. Disappointed ☹️

This Petco is the BEST ! They had exactly what I needed for my 4.5 lb. dog. Rachel (Richie), the person who helped me. was terrific. She knew where everything was & was a great help to us. Wish every store had a Rachel.

I usually use PetSmart for all my fish needs but the PetSmart at Kennesaw isn't as top notch as the other PetSmart's I've visited. I have bought fish for a while now, so I know what to look for when buying a fish. This time around I was looking for a Betta fish.PetSmart's Betta selection is low and honestly the fish look depressed. I never went to Petco as it was just expensive in my opinion. I decided to go to see what Bettas they had as the website says they have a lot to choose from. As I walked in, I noticed the place was clean and well kept.The live animals at the store looked and acted healthy. Upon entering the fish section of the store, I was greeted by Cheyenne, and she answered all my questions, and she truly knew everything you needed to know about taking care of a fish. Upon the Betta fish section all the bettas look healthy and reacted to my presence. There was one betta who started showing off his fins to me and looked curious. I ended up getting a betta from the Petco at Marietta and he is gorgeous.Employees are nice and helpful; their selection is solid, and the prices are even better (Price matched to website) compared to PetSmart. I did see the manager a couple times and he was active around the store and even put the cart back for me as I was checking out. Below is the Betta I ended up picking up from Petco. I will be back for my future aquarium needs!

If I could give them zero stars I would, I came in for my dogs grooming appointment and Morgan was so incredibly rude, she didn’t even come and tell me she couldn’t do the appointment anymore, she sent this guy who was rude and didn’t even offer me any alternatives and when she did come just kept complaining about how she has a lot of stuff to do, this is your job! She then also got incredibly hostile with me. Then three of the employees ganged up On me and didn’t expect me to defend myself because they were acting weird. I will never bring my pup here ever again, I didn’t realize people talk to you crazy over a haircut.

I just adopted a German Shepherd puppy and we needed toys, grooming brush, food , etc. The staff at Petco were knowledgeable and friendly and really helped me in picking out just the right gear for me and Waya.

DO NOT take your dog to get groomed here. I brought my shih tzu here to get a hair cut by Diana and she cut my dog's inner leg so bad that he had to get sutures! She took a quarter-sized chunk of skin off at his groin, which she said got caught in the razor. I understand that mistakes can happen but this was INEXCUSABLE carelessness.My dog is traumatized after being butchered by this place, then having to be sedated and stitched back together. The store paid for the vet bill, via a vet of THEIR choosing but it’s very little consolation after what my dog had to go through. It’s been a horror story straight out of hell. But not to worry, the store manager advised me that they “coached” the groomer on the issue. So basically they did nothing and this woman is still there to potentially harm someone else’s pet. This store isn’t worthy of even one star. Steer clear of this place for your dog’s sake.

We had the best experience visiting this location. Jeanette provided the highest level of customer service, while helping my daughter choose her hamster. She was friendly, helpful, high level of patience, and considerate. My daughter was spending her own money to make the purchase, so Jeanette made sure she was choosing the items that gave her the best deal. We still say we went to the right store and worked with the right person, to get the perfect hamster.

Had everything I needed for my new pup at a fairly good price. I’m a first-time dog owner so it was a little daunting searching for all the things I needed, but the employees were so helpful and kind. When I made it to the front C.K. checked us out and made sure we had everything we needed. She even gave me pamphlets for the training program and rewards program, which was incredibly helpful because I know that’s something my fur baby will need. I will definitely return to this location in the future.
