Such a nice store. I love Ace hardware and this was one of the nicest ones I've been to. I came to the store even though the Jasper store is much closer. they had everything here that I was looking for. the owner of the store is a really good guy and came right out to say thank you for the business. Great staff! Knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Always seem to be able to find what I need just around the corner. I have special ordered items and they arrive on the next truck. Great selection of quality products such as grills and furniture and even the best pine straw I have ever purchased! Keeps me from having to run to the big box stores most of the time.

Staff were so friendly and at this location you will find works or art, such as paintings and metal sculptures by local artist. We also picked up a few plants because they were priced better than our local Home Depot.

Fabulous store normally (5 stars except for price but that’s ok since so convenient and good service) and I’ve been here a lot over the years.After today I can not go back or recommend a visit though until they take the pandemic and customer/staff health seriously. I did not realize until too late and my paint was already being mixed, that nobody in the store was wearing a mask. Staff and customers alike. I was the only one. I was very happy to get out of there as it was profoundly uncomfortable. In hindsight, should have just left without my paint and bolted right away. No paint is worth that risk. I hope I didn’t bring Covid home with me and will go get tested before I see my family to be on safe side.I hope for the sake of staff that ownership changes policy and requires all in the store to wear a mask. Customers have a choice to go or not. Staff does not.

I moved 2 miles away in 2016 so this has been my regular hardware store for DIY things I always seem to need, about 98% of the time they have what I need and 100% if the time they’re courteous. If they’re not already tied up with other customers they always ask if I need help. Love this place and the employees.

Ummmm.....not so much! I went there just to ask about some grouting compound. When I walked in, the lady behind the counter just stared at me. I said hello, I'm looking for grout to replace the grout in my shower. She just continued to look at me as if I was asking for something weird, but pointed down the aisle and said "down there." I asked "down where?" to which she replied "down there" and pointed again. OK - I'll go take a look for myself. I thought they were supposed to try to help you with stuff. I visited again, hoping this was a one off event, but same thing...no interest in helping with anything. I bought quite a lot flowers and hanging baskets but did not feel in the least bit appreciated. I love the other Ace Hardware in Jasper. They will help you find a .69 O ring and spend the time to be sure it is what you need.

Bought a green egg and was disappointed (read: very angry) that not all of the necessary components were in the box. I called and wanted to know when I could pick up the other parts. To my surprise, the guy who handles the green egg stuff insisted that he deliver the missing stuff so I thought that was that. Nope. He stayed and assembled the whole thing so it would be ready to go. Unparalleled customer service!

Great store and staff, but the hours on Google aren't accurate - they aren't open on Sundays. Checked the hours, saw they were supposed to be open, but when we arrived they were closed. :(
