We used Magnolia Pet Resort for my pit bull while our family went on a week long vacation. I am very pleased with their service! Usually when he has stayed at other places he comes back very angry or sad and not himself. This time he was his normal happy, energetic, curious self. He didn’t want to leave the resort even though he was happy to see us. I can tell he was treated very well! Thank you to the amazing staff for taking care of my spoiled dog.

Best place in Albany, GA, to take you pets for daycare or boarding. We went to several places before deciding on Magnolia. The veterinarian's office is right next door, and they are super nice with a very talented vet. I love the play area & that the boarding facility has a POOL! OMG! my dogs actually get excited and start barking their "happy bark" as soon as we turn down their road. This place knows how to treat your dogs & you can tell the staff enjoys their job. Super efficient & very reasonably priced for all you get.

The only reason I’m even giving it a one star is because that’s the only way I could warn anyone about this place.. I have two labradoodles whom absolutely loves ppl, contact and water. I’ve used petsmart for grooming with both of them before and wanted a more personal feel.. so I attempted to change. petsmart always talks about how well behaved my boys are.. I dropped the boys off at 730 this morning and didn’t get a follow up call. The office closes at 6 and by 5 I was worried about them.. I go in asking about them and the (if you wanna call him ) groomer proceeds to tell me that my boys unruly, hates water, and he wasn’t able to do anything but wash them. They were kennel dried and apparently had not been let out to potty all day. Both boys relieved themselv for longer than normal. The receptionist very defensive at my voiced concerns. She began shaking papers at me saying he was overbooked.. when clearly they booked us knowing this. Then tried charging 100 dollars for shampooing.. I let them know that I would not be back and the receptionist made sure to tell me that was good.. if you are thinking about using them do so with caution.

We've been taking our girls here for over 8 years. Best place ever. They do a great job with baths, nails and boarding. I always request the kennel staff for grooming because they have a more flexible schedule. They are very good with our furbabies and keep them together throughout their stay because they don't like to be separated. Our shepherd mix is over 80 lbs and our beagle is about 38 lbs. They do a great job with both of them!❤

A very good place to leave your pets. My 2 dogs were happy to see us but loved being there. I will definitely take them there again.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they are very pricey (but you definitely get what you pay for) and because when my normal dog sitter dropped them off, she said the staff was rude to her. But I have no doubt that they loved on our dogs.

I have two boxers and they LOVE magnolia. They know when we are packing up that they get to go and they get so excited! When we go inside they are jumping around and can’t wait to go and play. The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. My pups love the staff and always greet them with a hug and kiss. I will always take my dogs to magnolia because I can trust them with my babies and not worry!

Full discloser: I do not write reviews ever; I am easy to please. YOU MAY WANT TO READ .Very unhappy customer here. When I pick my dog up after a night of boarding, I want to feel confident my dog has been well cared for. At Magnolia Pet Resort and Spa, that cannot be said after my dog's single night stay. I left my dog there with specific and very simple instructions to feed her the food I provided in the morning and treats I provided in the afternoon. What I found when I picked her up was that she was not fed our food or the treats accordingly which instantly makes me questioned if she was fed at all. Paying such a high price for boarding, I expect excellent care. I spoke to the owner who made no efforts to rectify the situation, only justifying the mistakes made towards my dog by saying they were likely made by "untrained employees". Safe to say I have had a poor experience here and will not be using Magnolia Pet Resort and Spa in the future.

I am very disappointed in this company. I started taking my baby there three to four times a week to play and after about 6 weeks or so there was a new girl (to me) at the front desk and she wasn't very friendly. She informed me it was time to pay. I told her that I would talk to the girl I usually deal with because I thought I had another day because I had recently paid for some boarding as well as daycare. I did not encounter this girl again for about a month and when I did she was rude again, not speaking to my dog and when my dog barked at her dog that was sitting behind her in the chair she raised her voice to him. She informed me again it was time to pay for another set (meaning another week) and I didn't say anything back to her because I was very upset she had raised her voice to my dog. I didn't have time to take him back home before work and I didn't want him to be mistreated. I asked how long she had been there and she informed me while rolling her eyes that she has been there part time longer than anyone else there ( over 5 years I think she said). I quit taking my dog at that point and waited to see if I would call and see what was going on and they did not of course. I was very surprised I didn't hear from Bri because she was always VERY sweet to my baby!I called the week before Labor Day to schedule a boarding and Brandy, the new office manager asked if she could call me back because it was so busy and I said yes. She had Andrea call me to tell me they were booked. Andrea being the rude one and I am sure she was thrilled to call and tell me that.I called Brandy back and asked her to please have the owner call me because I was very disappointed in the way I was being treated after the money I had spent at their business. She called me back and said the owner was on call for 2 days and his wife said he would call me as soon as he could. It has been 2.5 weeks and still no phone call. I manage a business and I would certainly respond to someone that had a legitimate complaintYou would think they would like to keep steady customers! When my baby boarded he got a report card with A+++ so he apparently wasn't a problem to them.

I am visiting from out of town & my dog needed a grooming. Brandy (Ofc Mgr) efficiently scheduled a grooming for my 14 yr old Australian Labradoodle They took good care of him & he came out with a little extra pep in his step. He looks great. I would recommend. Thank you all!

Great place to bring your dog for daycare! We have a 10 month old Great Dane and he has been coming here for the last 7 months. Everyone is always friendly. Anyone considering should take a tour of this facility. They are more than happy to walk you around.

We have used Magnolia on and off over the last 4 years, and never had any issues until this last boarding visit. We took our healthy dog into be boarded in early October, and picked up a very sick dog a week later. No one said a word to us about any concerns. Our dog has been severely sick for almost a month now from contracting hookworms while being boarded. We’ve had a lot of sleepless nights over the last month from having a sick dog, multiple vet bills, and professional floor cleaning bills. We will never use Magnolia again for boarding.

This is Harley’s happy place. My 1 1/2 y/o Bloodhound wakes up, eats and is eager to go there. I have witnessed the love the staff gives him and I think of Magnolia as a pre school for my big pup. If you’re anything like me you pet is like a child to you and like me you want that child well cared for when away from you. I highly recommend Magnolia.

Great place! Was in a pinch and needed someone to watch my pup for an afternoon while I was in town. They contacted my vet for me to get my dog's records and were very hospitable, helpful and accommodating. Thank you guys so much for coming thru for us!

Stay away!! BOTH my French bulldogs have been sick and vomiting since we took them home from boarding in your kennel. It would have been nice to have been warned that there's an illness going around your kennel. I'm very disappointed.

I'm beyond thankful for the ladies at magnolia pet resort! We evacuated with our black lab and he refused to go to the bathroom on a leash. They opened their doors to us whenever we needed them with a smile on their face. I'm truly thankful to have found this place and am blown away at their generosity.

Love them, but super pricey for overnight care compared to others in the area like my dogs vet. Wish they were more affordable, but for those that can afford it, its so worth it!!! Sadly seems to be a high turnover rate also =(

Zaye has been cutting our furbabies hair since we moved here in 2008. He's absolutely amazing. We appreciate his professionalism and attention to detail when our fur babies go visit him! The entire team from the incredible smiles behind the counter and over the phone really put you at ease. We've never gone anywhere else for grooming or.boarding!
