I use to bring my poodle here for grooming and they would do a pretty decent job. Recently I moved back to the area and my old groomer is too far to make the drive so I figured I would take him back to somewhere I liked. I messaged them and they told me I needed to give them a $20 NON REFUNDABLE reinstatement fee that won’t be going towards the service. HUH?? Why are you charging reinstatement fees? It’s not something out of this world it’s literally dog grooming…get real. There’s like 4 other dog grooming spas within the 5 mile radius of this place. take your pet there this place sounds to be very problematic. I completely understand deposits but fees to reinstate accounts just to be able to BOOK an appointment is absurd. lolol

I had recently decided to switch my groomer because of my complicated schedule and the distance to that location even though they did great. Today was the first day I took my doggy to this location & the front desk assistant & the groomer were extremely nice! Very understanding and informative. My little dog looks super adorable & he was so happy after his haircut!

We have been looking for a consistent and quality groomer since moving to Georgia about 5 years ago. Yes it has taken that long. Our bichon came from the back of my cute pawz with a smile on her face and once seeing her fresh cut, I was smiling too. Thank you my cute pawz! We will be back

I’ve taken my dog here 3+ times, they left him looking decent but will just complain about him saying he’s an “bad dog”. Asked for nails to be cut they didn’t even touch them. Complain about special handling and my dog only weighs 20lbs. He’s a gentle dog but is scared of clippers. Took him in for a 4th visit they refused to give him service because of special handling. They pick and choose who to work with and are “scared” of small dogs “fighting it”. I asked if they have muzzle, they said yes and said they don’t think I would be okay with putting it on. I said yes it’s okay. Lady said “no it’s not okay! Come pick him up!” Very rude and just wasted my time. I thought groomers knew how to handle all types of dogs especially small dogs…

My first appointment with them was quite not the greatest. I had taken my dog right after work and he had been crated all day so I did not mind paying what I paid since he was HYPER. The price was roughly $160 ish or more for my 35lb mini golden doodle. The payment had a $15 additional special handling fee and tip. It was odd that my appointment was for 3pm and my dog was done at 6pm. I loved the cut and thought I'd given them another chance because my Goldendoodle is HYPER when he is around people so why not believe them? This time around I still paid a $15 mishandling fee, nails only grinned (not filed because he was apparently hyperactive) and still paid a matting charge my total was $142 w/o tip. I got a call for permission to cut his coat short due to him being too matted or not letting the dematting process proceed. I agreed to go short but I get a $5 fee added to my tab. OF all this, the reason I write a one star review is that aside from all that overpricing for a haircut that shouldve not been 4+ hrs, my appointment was for 2pm and they have the audacity to tell me to pick him up at 6:15pm. If you have a policy of charging people for late cancellation, please appreciate the time of your customers and don't waste 4+ hrs of our day waiting around to see if you guys finish before 6pm. They have done an awesome job before with the cut but today I had hope it was a shorter groom time than last time. And if you want to reply that you told me to come back by 6pm , of course I will say okay because I need my dog groomed. I just think 4+ hrs for a dog to get groomed is not ideal, at least not the cut mine got.

My Cute Paws is located on Old Norcross same shopping center as Cafe Nang Xanh. Their overhead LED sign just says Pet Salon.I’m almost scared to write this amazing 5 star review because I’m scared word is gunna get out about how awesome this lady is!I’ve been coming here for years! This lady absolutely loves what she does! She told me once when she was younger that being a dog groomer was her dream. Well dreams become reality when you have so much passion in what you do and it shows in her work.They also have discount programs if you prepay!

If I could give a half star or a no star review I would! Horrible customer service, very rude. They will make excuses about not wanting to do a service if they do not like your dog. Gives customers “stank” look. Made degrading comments about my dog. Very disrespectful & unprofessional they do not deserve your money.

I have been taking my dogs here for years and everything about this salon is fabulous!!! I started with my elderly, blind miniatrue poodle Beau and he loved going to be pampered. He was never afraid because everyone worked to make him feel loved and secure. After he passed I rescued 2 dogs. Both have some issues due to their mistreatment with their original owners. My Archie has major anxiety with noise--he even has to be medicated to be groomed. But, the salon has worked with me and Archie so he can get the care he needs. Katie is very frightened of most people--but she is always fine at the salon because they are unfailingly kind, caring, and gentle with her. I love this salon and would never think of taking my dogs anywhere else because of the dedication and skill they have shown and the love they have always given my dogs. You will never regret having the wonderful people at My Cute Pawz pamper and groom your pets--they are the BEST!!!

I can honestly say I have never been so offended by the lack of appreciation for me spending my money here. The lady who was to groom them did not show up until 1 and my pups had been there since 9:30 am.She is unbelievably rude and I don’t think she cares to deal with people outside of her ethnicity. When I explained that there was no reason for my dogs to be finished being bathed and dried by 10:30 and have to wait 3 hours for service she attempted to say that was grooming standard practice.She was confrontational, combative, over talked, and condescended. Keep your money!

The lady, who I assume is the owner, is very rude! They were usually scheduled at 9 AM for their appointment and they could not be picked up until 5 PM and would complain about my dogs behavior. She complained that they would use the restroom inside her facility, yet they were kept there for 5+ hours each appointment! This one time she told me to pick them up at 5:30 and was very furious I came at 6 PM (I live 30 mins away). She told me she should have charged me an overnight fee, which was very rude after she already kept them all day. I took both of them to two other pet groomers and I would ask for feedback on their behavior and was told that they did “great” each time. Unfortunately since she is a good groomer we tried to go back due to our mobile pet groomer moving away, when we called to schedule an appointment she says that she cannot accept them anymore because they have not been there for 3+ months, although they were still getting regularly groomed. I do not recommend to come here due to really bad customer service and unfair treatment.

If you are going in as a new client GOD FORBID your dog age past 7 years old. I was told they would not accept my 9 year old mini poodle mix because he’s too old. I was told that I should stay with his previous groomer because the environment change would be too much for him. I’ve taken him to different groomers before because I needed something soon when my regular groomers was booked and I’ve never had a problem about his age or his behavior. I was referred by a friend and I was excited to have a new groomer closer to where I now live, but I guess not.

First time customer and the staff was super sweet with my dog (especially since it was her first professional grooming). My dog looked absolutely beautiful and smelled really good. With all the services she received, it was well worth the price. They even gave her a little treats bag for the ride home! Will definitely come back!

The woman who I worked with was very pleasant and kind! She was very professional, and responsive to all my texts about my dog. I really felt that my dog was in good hands, and she came back from her haircut looking great! I will definitely continue to bring my dog here for her grooming!

I'm here to comment on all the bad reviews. I think it's unfair to rate a place 1 star because you've been turned away as a client. I've been a groomer for 15 years and travel all over the country. I've groomed at Yilins shop when I'm in Atlanta as a licensed and insured pet stylist. Yilinn is one of the most gifted groomers I've ever met. She is so popular shes booked out far in advance and reserves the right to turn away naughty pets or dogs who pose health risks. This is a 1 groomer shop. She needs the dogs groomed every 3 months or less so it's less stress on both the dog and her hands. She doesnt take elderly dogs because dogs that are old or are misbehaved require additional special handling and time. Old animals get over heated and nervous due to vision and hearing loss, high blood pressure and heart issues that begin at this age and are aggravated by stress. They are best suited to find a groomer and stay with that groomer or see a vet groomer so if an emergency comes up they can be attended to immediately.Yilinn speaks english but it's her second language. She is not rude. She is matter of fact and to the point.She will be honest if your dog shows its butt. Other groomers may lie just so you'll come back. This is an exclusive upscale salon that accepts clients who agree to keep their beloved pets maintained every 12 weeks or less. Thats best for the pet. This salon has won Best of Gwinnett for years in a row now. For good reason. I groomed an elderly schnauzer when I was there as a visiting groomer. She was on a maintenance plan. If your pet comes regularly they can grow old there. Please give this salon a chance if you plan on investing in your pets skin and coat and good mental health.

This review is all primarily associated with customer service. I took my Mom's dog in for the first time in January to get groomed. I just called to make a grooming appointment again since I have her dog and the lady tells me they're not taking anyone who hasn't been with them in the last 3 months. I've never heard of this before from a groomer and thought they'd put that on the site or something. That was weird... but ok whatever.

Will not be returning. This Groomer ground down my dogs toe nails and one was too close, exposing the nail bed. When my dog got home, noticed him leaving blood prints on the floor. My vets were closed, so we took him to Emergency Care. The Groomer denied anything happening to my dog. Be careful signing and reading the waiver of liability in the in paper work.

We have 3 Shih -Babies that go every 5 weeks and always come out looking beautiful. Not going do they come out beautiful they come out happy. We have always let our pups know how their experience was and ours would give My Cute Pawz 10 STARS if possible. You'll not find more loving, caring, professional and talented groomers!

So happy I tried this grooming salon for my dog. The best grooming hes got in a very long time. The facility was clean and organized and they keep in touch with you for an on time pick up. King smells and looks great! Definitely recommend ;)

I had the absolute best experience from the moment I walked into the pet salon till I picked up my cat. I took my little fur baby in to get groomed and I couldn't have been happier! I love the owner. She is a straight shooter and she means business. If you are a bad pet owner then this place is probably not for you. She will call you out if she sees your dog is long due for a bath or grooming. Bottom line this place provides top notch service with premium products. We shall return.

My Cute Pawz Pet Salon Is a very will run and professional Pet salon. I have been going there for will over a year and very satisfied every time with my pet grooming. My dog has a bad back and they take extra good care of her to make sure she don't hurt herself. I highly recommend them.

Love, love, love, LOVE this place! I've been bringing Annabelle here for the entire 10 years of her life, and I'm grateful that I was fortunate enough to find them. They are absolutely professional in all ways at all times, and they are also very kind, sweet, and personable. It is completely clear how much they care both about the pets and about the human clients. I recommend them a thousand percent.

The lady which i believe is the owner is awful shes rude and she will keep your dogs all day!! she does “report cards” and always lies on my dogs saying theyre bad. Pretty sure she would mistreat my dogs because ive been to multiple groomers and i ask how my dogs did and everyone has said theyre amazing. VERY nasty attitude dont book with her.

One of my rescue dogs is blind. Elaine is so gentle and yet very thorough. Our other rescue has separation issues. She is aware of their needs and accommodating. There is a calm and happy atmosphere. My dogs do very well here

I’ve been grooming my dog with Yilin for a year now and I absolutely love her. My dog is a Cairn Terrier and she doesn’t have much hair but she manages to give her a really good teddy bear face! Love it. Highly recommend
