We love love love Inga in the grooming department. She is the sweetest lady and will go above and beyond to accommodate your pups needs. The only downside to this location, is not the groomer, but the prices. I pay $80 for a groom for my 25lb dog whereas at most groomers he would be about $60. I paid the difference though bc Inga is THE BEST. So…Petsense…make sure she gets those upcharges in her paycheck! ❤️

I scheduled to get my dog groomed and they cancelled it saying “I booked. I have dogs to groom.” Well that’s why I was on the scheduled. If there was no availability then it should not of been available to selected!

Lagrange, GA is lucky to have such a fantastic pet supply store.I have a lot of Shih Tzu babies. They're my children. One of them had recently had puppies and I was beginning the weaning process. I needed help finding quality food for the puppies within my budget as they were very picky and I wanted to be sure they were getting proper nutrition. One of the employees, SAM, took about 30 minutes to help me with several things. I was so grateful for his help and expertise. He was right, as the food he recommended was gobbled down by the pups! He also recommended some inexpensive puppy toys that they all loved, as well.On another occasion, I was trying to find a good, quality food for one of my Shih Tzu that is allergic to beef and chicken. I had researched online, but that confused me even more and I was overwhelmed with all of the contradicting information I had found. I asked if Sam was there, but he was off that evening.However, another store employee, ARIEL, took time helping me find the perfect food for my baby with allergies and she finally stopped breaking out, itching, and scratching so horribly!I'm extremely thankful for both SAM and ARIEL. They are both valuable PetSense employees and the corporation is lucky to have these two RARE 💎 GEMS 💎 as employees! Their knowledge and expertise helped my puppies thrive as they are now healthy 3 month old pups and my "baby" with allergies is no longer uncomfortable and lives without constant itching and scratching!I highly recommend PetSense in Lagrange, GA, especially if Sam and Ariel are available to help you! ❤️

Their selection is horrible. They literally only had maybe a dozen different types of fish. I bought 6 to add to my aquarium and unfortunately added ick too. They had nothing to treat my tank, no filters to fit mine, no gravel, no plants, VERY little for aquariums. Lost ALL my fish. Starting over.. thanks Petsense.

We found Pet$en$e by chance driving through Lagrange, and boy are we glad we did! All three of my little dogs were needing new collars, and usually that means matching leads/leashes and harnesses. They had such a great selection! They even had the exact same collar as our middle dog!The prices were very reasonable. They had accidentally left up a sign that said that some of the harnesses were being sold at a discount. When we got to the counter, the cashier had to check which brands were listed and discovered that the sale had ended a while back. We were willing to pay full price, but the manager on duty went ahead and honored the posted discount. Nice!When it came time to get everyone fitted with their new stuff, we found out that we got our youngest dog's measurements wrong for the collar. I went back the next day and was able to make the exchange and pay the difference, no problems, no questions asked. (I brought my receipt!)If they just weren't so far out of our regular driving area, we'd be going back a LOT more often!Keep up the good work!

Scheduled an appointment for my dog to get groomed only for it to be canceled an hour before the time scheduled because “I don’t have time”. What a joke. We won’t spend another dime here because we don’t have time to play games.

This business doesn't even deserve a one star! Took our dog there for the first time for a hair cut (Aussiedoodle). The young girl that works there was told specifically how we wanted our dog to be cut and it was repeated several times, do not cut him short. Other groomers cut him on a #4 which this girl said she would do, but when we picked him up he was scalped. How do you fix a $10 cut you paid $100 for? We will NEVER use this place again. It's obvious the girl didn't know what she was doing.08/05/2022Just to update this review;My wife just returned from the vet. Had to take our Aussiedoodle because he was acting strange and would not quit licking his rear. Come to find out after paying the vet $100 for 2 shots we were told he had been clipped numerous times into the skin on his rear end. This cut has now cost me $200!! Do not allow this business to cut your dog!!

I love Inga. She is Bandits groomer and has been since I've had him. He loves her and she does the best job. You can tell how much better he feels after a visit with her. When we go into the store, he heads straight for Inga. I can also tell that she really cares for him, too. PetSense is the best for grooming services.

I can't give much of a review I just moved to the Lagrange area and this is the only person store, they were in the middle or remodeling and setting up areas for the turtles/tortis they are getting. And I went looking for a filter replacement for my turtle but they didn't have what I was looking for but I found other stuff that would be helpful when I give him an upgrade. And the employees were extremely nice they told me about an adoption event they we're having and it was very welcoming! I 10/10 recommend it once they have everything all set up!

*UPDATE* 3) Apparently the owner or manager is to lazy to update the hours on google so i just wasted my time and gas driving to the store to find a handwritten sign with updated hours that they now close at 6pm now instead of 8pm.... horrendous customer service yet its the only pet store available in Lagrange... horrific store. I have had more bad service issues than I have had good.... 1) I purchased a snake, one that I am extremely happy without but cost me $350, from the store. Hadst been to the store multiple times to see snake and preparing area for snake. The day I went to finally to finally purchase the snake.. I was asked to PROVE, I had a terrarium... As I had cash in hand, I was asked to go get receipt of terrarium purchase and I live more than 40 min away... 2) I called in and asked if they had medium mice and was informed that they did, for the first time in 2 weeks they finally did... So I asked the associate to put them on hold that I would even go ahead and pay over the phone, associate told me that he would put them to the side that I didnt need to go ahead and pay.... So I proceed to drive to store, as previously stated I live over 40 min away.. Only to find out when I get there that the box of medium mice had already been sold of course. Horrible service...hope Lagrange gets another pet store very soon.

Prices so high. Had all/most different brands of food. Guess I'm used to Target or Walmart prices. Nice checkout guy but no help was offered when I was looking for Rachel Ray dog food and Nutro treats. Not busy at all. Probably won't be back.

Went to check on getting my dog a grooming appointment. Groomer was on phone, so we sat down to wait. She looked at us and continued to chat for the next ten minutes. We got up to walk around in the store and wait ...close to where she was (she had a large glass window and could see us). She continued to chat and never acknowledged our presence. Finally gave up and left. Other than the rude groomer, the store is well stocked and friendly cashier.

My first visit and I almost never found anyone in the store to help me. When I got to the register no one in sight again. Finally had to call out LOUD to get someone out of the office to ring up purchase. She could not get signed into register, had to go outside to find fellow workers who were on a smoke break. I had planned on asking about having my dog groomed but decided that was a bad idea LOL

The few employees in the store don't seem to care much about customers, instead consumed by their cell phones and hanging out with their friends.It's nice to have a pet-specific store in LaGrange, but what's the point when you have to wait for so long just to check out?

Chewy.com has much cheaper prices on the dogfood and dog treats. I get the smart bones I believe it is its $9 at chewy and $18 at petsense. Also a lot cheaper on the royal canin dogfood. Nothing against petsense but chewy is cheaper, fast and wonderful customer service!!

Prices are really high. Employees seem drab and unfriendly. Ive been lots of times to this store, and although they normally have what i need on demand, and i am prepared to pay too much, the less than friendly attitude of the employees rings with me every time. They arent rude, but they arent friendly.

The prices are much higher than the same brands at different stores. The staff and customer service is very helpful and friendly, the store was very clean for the most part except the empty hamster cages were the cage litter had excessive rodent droppings in them

Had a grooming appointment on July 3rd, but when I brought my dog in, I was told it would be "at least " three hours. I told the groomer that I had just bathed her before we got there, so I didn't need that. We were leaving town on vacation that afternoon, so I decided we couldn't wait that long for grooming. Went back to pick her up,and she had been bathed again. I was upset because I specifically said I didn't want that. She wanted me to pay for it anyway ($34 for a miniature poodle .) I didn't argue the point and paid, as we were in a hurry to leave on our trip.I would like to be refunded my $34.....

They really don't know much about the animals they sell, are over priced, and understocked. Went in for new substrate for my snake enclosures and they didn't have what was needed for my king snake. The kid working there was confused and didn't even know what aspen shavings were. This is not the first time i was disappointed going to this store. I've been in there looking for stuff for my turtle, fish, and snakes and came out empty handed because they only carried bare minimum supplies. Yes they have updated their layout, but they need to update their staff. They need better supplies for the pets that they are selling and claim to support and knowledge of said animals. I rather take a trip to the other side of Newnan and go to Pet Supermarket.

The worst pet store I think I have ever been in. Barely have fish, the one they do have look like they are dying. Employees have zero clue about the animals they are selling.Should be a pet supply store and give up on selling pets. Even your pet supplies suck. Waste of time every time you go there. Walmart has more
