Really neat pier to fish or walk on. It has to be the biggest pier I have ever been on. Prices in the pier shop were very reasonable.

Beautiful! My husband is enjoying the fishing and my daughter is enjoying the ice cream from the Jekyll Fishing Center. It’s a relaxing place to visit,which is what I did 😉

Tucked way off the main road, this place is definitely worth a visit. Beautiful water views from shore and from the mid-century modern fishing pier. There's a snack shop, a peaceful walking/biking trail, and horseback riding tours.

Definitely a hidden gem! We were there for the horseback riding on the beach, but walked over to the pier and enjoyed that view! The pier is HUGE and covered ! A lot of people fish from the pier and seemed to do pretty well. Lots and lots of wading potential! Picnic tables and a bathroom available! THERES EVEN A SMALL BAIT SHOP on the corner !

A very different and interesting pier. The bow is outstanding and it has a few very well kept and clean washing tables. The only drawback I see is that it is not out far enough. It might not be an issue since I have not had the pleasure of fishing there.

Really cool local fishing spot with serious Pier. Lots of birds fishing. When we were there we saw a huge dolphin a couple feet from shore and saw it surface several times.

Beautiful location to see the HUGE car carrier ships passing by! We love Jekyll Island, the Millionaires village, and the old Cottages, especially at Christmas time!

I spent some time here over a couple of different trips. Great for night photography and some wildlife. The shop is also cool and in a great place. The dock is usually kept pretty clean and I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about the pier. It appears to be a great place to fish and spend time.

Free. Pleasant drive and sites. They have horse back riding on the Beach. Wonder walking trails. Bring your pole 🎣.

There's a gift and bait shop there. The pier is concrete and fully covered. I dropped a jig an at the end it was at least 50 feet. That day was very windy with brackish waters. The only fishe I saw pulled in was a baby shark. Horse rides started there along the beach up towards Driftwood Beach and back.

Pretty nice place. We rode bikes down the beach, saw the overturned ship, spotted dolphins and people were horse back riding. It was a very entertaining beach.

Not too crowded, with much of the pier covered so you’re not standing in the blazing sun all day. We had fun fishing and crabbing, even though we didn’t catch anything except some stingrays and hermit crabs! It’s really pretty and we even saw a dolphin!The little bait and tackle shop is convenient but they rented us a pole that broke the second time we tried to reel something in, and then charged us for a replacement.

Beautiful, relaxing, lots of room even on a busy day. Can grill and eat there as well. Even though I didn’t fish I seen a lot of ppl fishing.

Super windy, exposed in 3 directions and cold in January.Vigorous currents against outgoing tide.Some concrete supports were badly corroded.Gorgeous access road under mature live oak canopy with Spanish moss and saw palmetto understory or glimpses of salt marsh.Bait shop near the end of the pier.2 Fish cleaning stations on pier with water supply. One is lower for wheel chair use.

Even if you're not going to fish, this is a fun stop. Walking the pier is nice and you can watch the fishermen reel their catches in. I saw dolphins playing towards the beach from this pier and also saw the horseback riders heading out for their beach ride.

Large open area to wet the line! This pier is surrounded with outstanding views every way you look. All the locals were extremely friendly and educational during our visit.

Beautiful island and full of history. Great place to visit. Walking and bicycle trails everywhere. Easy walking. Wheelchair accessible.
