You have great employees (especially Quentin who helped me today), but your procedures are horrible. You make it much too complicated to check out at both the front register and the pharmacy. Your receipts are insanely long and a waste of trees. The check-out complications at the pharmacy are even worse since you ask questions on the credit card machine that I can't read or understand and which the pharmacist just pushes buttons to get rid of them (I have no idea what he agreed to for me). Your pricing is also a mystery. My receipt this time says I saved $4.50, but I have no idea how. Why do you ask for my phone number every time?? You shouldn't need my phone number to let me purchase something!

It took almost 24 hours to get your script I was supposed to pick up in 30 minutes I can only see why the ratings are so low not to mention they lost paperwork not impressed will not be back

Quinton was awesome helping me with a missing UPS package. He went out of his way to track it down. He kept me updated throughout the process. CVS is lucky to have him.

They couldn't get authorization for my insurance so I had to pay out of pocket. They had my name misspelled. I would expect a little more attention to detail from a PHARMACY! I didn't catch it till I got home. I'm sick that's why I was getting meds. I even spelled it out for the girl.

Most of these comments are for the pharmacy side of cvs. I was absolutely not shocked at all to see how many others are going through the same thing. Every time you call, it can take up to literally 45 minutes to get someone on the phone. More than once, after waiting 30 minutes, we finally got a gentleman on there just for him to hang up on us and have to wait another 30-40 minutes. 🤯 do better.

You’ll spend ages on the phone trying to get a hold of them. Their SCO always needs employee intervention, so you might as well have just stayed in line for the register that gives 10 different price point. It’s 2023. Why is a multi-billion dollar company running POS system from the last century? Customer service is hit or miss at best, but Quentin’s positive attitude will brighten anyone’s day.Hope you like pestered about Care Pass. Leave the subscription based models to Amazon, because at least their products are competitively priced. Is it really ā€œon saleā€ if the ā€œsale priceā€ is the normal price at literally every other retail store?

My doctor called in a prescription for cough medicine on Friday. I got a notification from CVS saying the medication was on order and wouldn't be available until Monday. I tried calling to see if I could get the medication at another CVS, after 12 minutes of being on hold I finally hung up and decided to wait until Monday, as tge message said it would be ready then. Monday comes, stillno prescription and it 5 p.m.I called again, on hold almost 15 minutes. I then hang up and call back using the doctor office option thinking maybe someone would answer, because evidently, doctors are more important than their customers. It worked, they answered after 3 minutes on hold to tell me the medication is on back order.Hung up, called Ingles, had all my prescriptions moved to Ingles and the total phone call was less than 5 minutes. And, they had my medication in stock.If you need your medication in a timely manner and like actually having someone available to answer the phone. CVS is not the place.

Pete was so helpful recommending follow up advice from side effects of a topical medicine when I couldn’t reach my physician over a weekend. He was encouraging and helpful!

Complete disregard for their clients. Left a prescription for Amoxicillin, maybe the most basic prescription there is. They don’t have it, but that really isn’t the problem. They don’t bother to call us and tell us that. We show up 4 hrs later after waiting another 45 min at the store to find that out. We won’t be back.

So wonderful to meet a nice, pleasant smile after a very long hot one in a place I know little about! Hartwell, Georgia CVS made the day’s ending sweet & fine! ā˜€ļøNeeded some gift-cards quickly. And Miss Cierra was kind enough to ring me up politely, and let me know I had coupons going forward at next purchase stop. I like that helpful attitude!Giving out candy everywhere I go is my thing, and this day it was Werther’s. Always from a CVS, mind you! What really makes me mad about CVS is that I always get automated calls from them at 9 am telling me my prescriptions are available for pick-up. Yet when when I go in the afternoon to pick them up, they ALWAYS have one or two of the prescriptions not ready...meaning I have to twiddle my thumbs for 30-50 minutes before I can get out of this store.Not only do I find this unacceptable but I will be transferring ALL of my prescriptions shortly to my Insurance Company's pharmacy (saving myself some money in the process).

Pharmacy will not answer phone. Out of basic medicine routinely, they do call notify when they are out of something. Customer always have to check themselves and then that is an hour or more to get anyone to answer phone, if they ever answer.

This rating is for the pharmacy and not the rest of the store. I had a hard to get prescription that was given to my husband by his oncologist. I had taken it to another pharmacy first, they did not carry it and couldn’t get it, but called us to let us know and gave us back the paper prescription to take to another pharmacy. We chose CVS since they are much larger. After a week of calling in and them telling us they did not have it yet, I finally went into the pharmacy and they told me they didn’t have it couldn’t get it and they lost the original paper prescription with the directions to order the medicine. I will always prefer my original pharmacy!!!

I personally work at Cvs and at our store you will get great customer service, smiling faces, great discounts and stocked shelves. I can assure those of you speaking negatively about the pharmacy that we are just following protocol, it may seem as if your stuff got brushed off but know that it didn’t they are severely short staffed in the pharmacy and are doing the best they can to fulfill everyone’s prescriptions on time.

I called to get a prescription transferred from another cvs location and they never answered. I gave up after about 30 minutes of listening to that crazy hold music. This store needs some kind of guidance because the store isn’t ran correctly. It’s time for them to gut that store of all employees and start over fresh. Needless to say I’ll just go to the other location for my blood pressure med because Hartwell just can’t seem to get it right. I’ll be attaching a screenshot of the complete wait time before I gave up. I give this location zero stars because it’s a disgrace and the employees don’t care about their customers health.

I would give no stars if possible. The pharmacy has no customer service skills. I was told my prescription was not in shock. I asked if cvs in Elberton had it. She said I would have to call them to see. I stayed on hold 27 minutes and finally gave up. I called my doctors office to see if they would call it into ingles pharmacy. As of 5:00 it still hasn't been called in. My doctors appointment was at 9:30 this morning. I have a fever and need my medicine.

This CVS is the worst one I have ever been to. I was promised meds in 1 hour, 2 hours later they were not ready. I left and went back 2 hours after that, they still were not ready. The pharmacy staff was not even apologetic. Also, the staff does not wear their masks properly. What is the point of a mask when it is not even covering their nose? I will not be back.

I sat on the phone on hold for 30 minutes so I got dressed walked up to the store and approach the counter with my phone still on hold with their music. Of course I got service immediately and I'm sure the people that were there had not been there for 30 minutes. I asked if she ever answers the phone and she told me not while she's helping other people. When you call you are not a customer and you will be last

The pharmacy hours are not customer service friendly. Open at 10 on Saturday, close for an hour at lunch only to close at 6pm. Do not recommend the pharmacy at all.

I am giving a 5 star review because of a lady named Tracy! She is extremely knowledgeable and customer service oriented! If you are having a problem getting a medication filled after several attempts and being aggravated with CVS pharmacy .... it typically is an insurance issue!!! Thank you Tracy for all your help and hard work getting my insurance to finally correct their mistake!!!

Prescriptions are supposed to be on automatic refill. When I call to check on them the automated system tells me that they should be filled by a certain date which has passed. We went this morning and were informed that they were not ready, but they would be ready in 30 minutes. We went back about 4 hours later and they still were not ready. The sad part is that this is not the only instance where this has happened to us. Pharmacy personnel do not seem to care about customers having to make multiple trips to pick up prescriptions.

My wife's insurance in 2022 requires CVS. I Hate this place. Very slow. Poor service. Dont even think about calling them they MIGHT answer after 30 minutes on hold. Giving ZERO stats in a review is being genieous.

Their customer service is horrible. Everytime I go to pick up a prescription for my family or self I always have a hard time. They have deleted our information and it's like we're new customers even though we've been going there for years, or they give out the wrong medication (I always double check now), they have mislabeled medications for my boys, or they claim they can't find my insurance information and I end up having to pay out of pocket. I am beyond done with this CVS location. I tried to deal with all the mishaps, but apparently I'm not they only person these things are happening to.

I only shop here because my insurance requires it. I wish I could give this store less than 1 star but that's not an option. Don't waste your time calling. I was on hold over 20 minutes. When they finally picked up, they deliberately hung up on me. They admitted it! They said they are just too short handed. My meds are on auto refill. I have gotten calls that my meds were ready and when I go up there, they are not ready. They blame the phone system. I have experienced rudeness, incompetence, constant errors. To be fair, I have occasionally had good service from certain employees. Unfortunately, it is the exception, rather than the rule.

Not mine but I have a friend of mine employed at this particular CVS. This CVS hasn't been treating them right since they've started working there. Management is purposefully not training them whenever they can get away with it. Management and Pharmacist has not been friendly to them making them feel like every tiny mistake would cost them They're job. I feel that this place has a certain prejudice because my friend just wants to get certified to be a pharm tech and there's not better place to start than a place like CVS. BUT NO. They want to make everything stressful and difficult to the point where I'm just going to convince anyone listening to not give this place your business. Go to Walmart or Walgreens but do not give this place your business until they're Management gets their act together and start treat newer employees like they're work is welcome and not trying to purposefully destroy their business.

Please use this pharmacy if you enjoy incompetence, being treated rudely, and waiting for EVER for your medicine. Since moving to hartwell a year ago I have dreaded every interaction I’ve had with this pharmacy. They are great at putting prescriptions aside and not doing anything with them until you chase them down about it. I’ve never gotten through the drive through in less than 20 mins. I also just love how nice they are (sarcasm). I’ve never seen a more miserable bunch of people.

We visited this CVS yesterday and it was one of the best I’ve been in. No idea why it has a 1.9 rating. It was stocked, clean, full of variety, friendly customer service, and decorated well for Christmas. Had a hometown feel that was super welcoming.

Is this possible? I went for my 2nd shingles shot as scheduled in Jan. They had no record of the first one! I said I had it at the same time as the flu shot. No record of that either! In fact I was told they don't do the 2 together. Yes, I sat right there etc. In this CVS, Hartwell. Finally they gave me the second shingles shot but never found any record of the first!

They never have medicine ready. They also have you waiting for 45 minutes, after medicines have been called in over an hour. My mom takes important medications and for them to never have things ready when they say they’re ready is aggravating and disappointing. This is the CVS in hartwell ga.
