I have been to this location several times since moving to the area. I had hoped that over time it would get better but it hasn't. Every time the staff are standing around talking, I've never seen anyone stocking shelves or cleaning. The shelves are empty and a lot of blocked by huge stacks of stock that needs to be put on the shelves. The refrigerator section isn't stocked correctly they just out the cases in, unopened, and leave them. Oh and when you want to check out and pay cash you get to wait and wait for someone to notice and come up to the register.

Great store !!! The employees are awesome. They go above and beyond if you need something. They are all very happy, courteous, friendly and always say hi as you come in door. I love going in there.

One of the employees went out of her way to help me get a product out of the stockroom . Usually dollar general is just an ok experience without any issues but this was really great customer service. I wish I had gotten her name! But thank you to the lady who helped me get disinfectant spray out of the back for my daughter's class!

Great for quick stops and little knick knacks, and usually always has what I'm looking for. Only issue I've really had with the store is that there's a line at the checkout. Every time I go in, I plan to spend a little extra time wandering around or waiting in line a few extra minutes. Visiting early is better--beat the crowd while you can.

I love the convenience of having a store so close to home for small things you forget and realize you need at the last minute, milk and bread and the basic staples. Milk is fresh and priced cheaper than most grocery stores even. Staff is friendly. My only fault is at this store the team section is South Carolina gamecocks instead of Georgia bulldogs which is at most of the dollar generals in our area. I like that they are open until 10 also when most places close at 9.

I've always loved this Dollar General, but they've recently gotten bad about leaving carts full of boxes and merchandise in the way where it makes it hard to get to items you need sometimes. The associates are great and the best I've met from any other store around, so I figure they're just extremely busy now and don't intentionally mean to leave carts in the way.

I like DG.. they just need to get better at stocking and not leaving boxes all over the place all the time. It's so hard navigating around and not being able to get to the things I want that I just say forget it sometimes and go somewhere else. They need to bring in extra help to stock. I understand it cost more.. but it would be well worth the money.

Can see from road.. good excess in and out ..handicap parking at front door...big parking lot..... great house hold needs ... good grocery selection ... all can goods available....good candy and chip section....great cereal selection... all major drink products for the home and kids ... kids buggies ... good detergent selection ... good school needs selection ... great picnic section .. good clothes and socks section ... all bathroom supplies...allergy and cold products...trash cans for outside and inside ... all brands of trash bags of all sizes... all brand food bags and freezer bags..All personal hygiene products ... all kitchen supplies ... the place is clean ... the help is friendly ... and the prices are very reasonable .

Only giving the one star because I have to just to write a review. We have a very sick daughter at home, so we rushed out seeing how it was 9:35pm and this dollar general was the closest and we knew we could make it in time to pick up some over the counter meds to help. We got there right around 9:47pm, the store closes at 10pm. Before we even made it all the way into the store we were greeted very poorly, we were immediately told " We close in 5 minutes" not hello, we close at 10pm. It was said rudely and showed very poor customer service. I looked at my watch and noticed it was only 9:50pm, my wife and I proceeded to go to the meds grab what we needed and got back to the register by 9:51pm. Mind you I was watching the clock, I was very upset with the rude encounter from the "manager" I believe the guy called her Christy, anyway she left the front and the gentleman at the register needed her and had to call her back up front. I said a few choice words and walked out. I would NEVER speak to a customer in that manner! I will be making a formal complaint in the morning. Thanks alot for the worse experience ever in one of your businesses.

Only since Google prompted me for a review on DG am I writing one. Otherwise meh. I mean there's not a lot of expectation for customer service at DG 🤷🏻‍♀️ it just is what it is. It does seem like this one always is short on stock of just about everything. Maybe that's also normal. You either get the friendly cashier or the one that is pretty blatant you're ruining their day with your errands 😅 today was no exception. There was verbal discontent from the cashier as she rang her buddy up then had to ring me up. Hey without us shopping there though how does the store survive? ;)

This Dollar General is the worst one around. The manager April, is rude and disrespectful. They don’t ask you if you need help when you are shopping. They talk loudly amongst themselves and it’s distracting and unprofessional. They don’t work well with their own errors on pricing. Example- tag says BOGO, but it was for the prior weeks sale and they forget to remove it, they don’t honor that sale tag. I’ve experienced this with many of the Dollar General stores, but this one is the worst employee turn around is high because of management and inconstant scheduling. The shelves are always a mess and items are rendomly places all over the store. The bathrooms are always a mess. When vendors come in, they take time away from customer service to deal with them and have one register open with a line around the corner. They also carry on unprofessional and loud conversations with them. Just a bad store all around. Save your time and spend the extra money to go to IGA or Harvey’s.The only positive thing I can say is they do carry a large and good variety of holiday/seasonal items. That’s the one star or else it would be 0 stars.

I personally like the Dollar General store most of the time they have what I need the price is right the people are helpful and there's about a hundred thousand of them so you can't miss them. And they started carrying a whole lot more products that keeps you out of other stores if you get my drift all I got to say

The store always seems to be a mess and the workers always seem frazzled, but I get what I need and leave. They seem as if they need more help and better staff that don't just sit outside and gossip while smoking.

Friendly staff,always helpful. People seem to check out in groups,you could walk in and no one be in line then the everyone leaves the exact same time line to the back of store.Staff does their best and always stays courteous.

This store on hwy 119 in Guyton is incredible clean and probably functional management. Open isles no clutter. Prices suitable for the common person. Great job 👍

Recently this store has been awful to visit. There is very little stock on the shelves instead it is stacked on carts in the aisle. You can't walk through the store without the possibility of tripping. The check out lines have been 7 - 9 people long.

Never nothing there, ALWAYS OUT. ALL OF THE ONES I'VE BEEN TO VERY POOR STORE AND NOTHING GOOD TO SAY ABOUT THEM JUST NOT GOOD STAY AWAY. AND PAY THOSE THAT WORK THERE FIND A JOB THEY LIKE BECAUSE IM ONE THAT BELIEVES THAT IT'S TO DO WITH THE OWNER AND BOSSES. AND I KNOW AND CAN TELL THEY HATE THEIR JOBS. POOR PEOPLE JUST TRYING TO MAKE A LIVING IN HELL.
