Just had the most miserable experience by far. Worked at 12 hour shift and we had to do self checkout. No registers open not until I complain but we was already at self-checkout push your head this self checkout girls stand around doing nothing. I don't get this business model that Walmart's going with they have employees stand around doing nothing called self checkout clerks and I have to go in and do their job for him after a long day of work. Like I need to do their job. Walmart put your employees back to work. Or let them go

The self checkout is the dumbest thing they have tried.Has no cashiers available but wants to stop me for 10+ minutes at 9:00 to check my stuff after leaving self checkout. Get workers and leave people alone.

Always huge lines and no registers open outsode of self check out So not only now, do you have to check yourself out. You can't even get around the isles to shop. I do realize at night and they pulled stuff out for stalking, but even at 3 p m on a sunday They're just using this area for warehousing

Very friendly store the one that tended to my vehicle maintenance was caring and kept me informed the entire time. Did not wait long at all. They will say 2 hours just so you don't bug them I did a little store shopping and was checked out within an hour. The girls at the register one was there a little longer than the other she was the sweetest individual she stopped to help someone who came to check on saying they needed help and nobody would help she went beyond and assisted him I was pleased with that. I do hope that the person she is training how to do stuff she needs to smile and be more friendly she was scared of eye contact and just needed to loosen up and know if you mess up it's okay anything can be fixed but never let a customer leave with a bad thought of character because it does have an impact on a person's mindset. Just smile it goes a long way especially if you get an irate customer but over all I was pleased and definitely be back.

Rows and rows of shelves not stock. Cosmetics looks like a tornado went through. Workers? Didn't see one on the floor. Go to Thomaston or Forsyth and their stores are immaculate. What is wrong with the Griffin store? So sad. The community deserves better!!!! The self check out. Worse on the other side..

Every time I come here it’s a problem in money services!!! The rep has pink short hair… I came for a money order with cash and ran in out of the rain and had on work ID and I was told I had to go back out into the rain to get state ID just for a money order which is sad and when I got back inside we were made to wait cause one customer’s transaction wouldn’t go through but why not help the customer’s in line while she waits to the side and handle the situation cause some have bills to pay… This will be my last resort from here on out

Was just called about a job offer and I never seemed to pass their exam but apparently I did without me knowing and they hang up on me because I was explaining. Just rude. Could've explained more and see my options. Didn't even ask any further questions. Just hung up. Been a slow season for work all over griffin. Been having difficulties finding jobs. Just rude guys

There this morning self check outs full.. a line of customers all the way to gro door side. 1 cashier open that line backed up àlso.4 employees standing just telling people when a check out was òpen. Ask one girl why don't she open a cashier line.. they won't let me she replies. Walmart pay your employees to work not stand and yell a number. I hate going to Walmart now.

This is by far the worst Walmart I’ve ever been to. The max checkers they ever have is 2, but generally they won’t have any and make you do self checkout. You want help? Just walk around looking for the employees huddled in the corner on their phones. They leave pallet jacks blocking the main entrance while they talk to friends and text. They don’t stalk shelves they just leave all the boxes in the aisles blocking the entire walkway. Have a question; don’t bother calling them; they don’t answer phones at this location.

I'm thinking there has never been a worse time to shop at Walmart than right now.It has always been overly crowded in aisles, and walkways, but it appears they've given up.It's pathetic. Oh, and there was more in the floor, and in pallets than on shelves where stock is supposed to be.3 stars, because our checkout was easy.

Walmart in Lovejoy is good. You can find what you need most of the time, but it is crowded. Most of the self check outs are off. If you like drama, then it's the place to be.

Their associates do not mark down the items as they should. Some will ring up the correct price, others way higher, some not marked down at all. And it will all be the same exact thing but different patterns. For example, their little boys underwear. The buggy they are in is marked $1 but not all ring up that way. And they are not willing to honor that pricing. Then the CSM had the nerve to say they don't even use the sticker that was on the underwear. CLEARLY you do with your underhanded a** comment. And I still remained calm and polite which is less than she deserved. To the associate/manager working the grocery side self checkout at 7:30pm tonight, go back through training and learn ACTUAL CUSTOMER SERVICE. It is 66% of your title 🤣). If someone did their job right the first time, my wasted time could have been avoided. 90% self checkout and still can't do their jobs right.

Worst Walmart I’ve ever been to. Don’t bother calling them, they will never answer. If they do, they don’t have the answer to anything. They finally answered the phone after 1 hour of me calling them, and the employee couldn’t even tell me what the return policy was. She would transfer me to another department, and no one would answer. When I asked her to ask someone around her, she would respond with “no one’s around me”. She never offered any resolution and I was met with two word answers the entire phone call. I called back 5 hours later and same thing happened. Never coming here again, my experience in and out of the store was nothing but trouble and inconvenience.

This Walmart Supercenter is a good store. It does get busy but the checkout process is fast. The shelves are well stocked and organized. The prices are reasonable. We recommend this location.

I visited a different Walmart and received very good customer service. Unfortunately, the other location was out of a product I was looking for. A very helpful and friendly associate checked the system and informed me that the Griffin location had the product in stock. I drove to the Griffin store and as soon as I walked in, I noticed a difference.The associates at the Griffin store were not as nice nor helpful… not even close. They were impatient, unfriendly, and very short with their responses. When asked where I could find a different item, one associate actually told us he didn’t know because he worked nights. What does working a different shift have to do with merchandise location? I’m pretty sure the item would be on the same aisle at night as it is in the daytime.At checkout, the only checkout lanes open were the self checkout. There were 50+ people waiting on a checkout machine. Finally, an associate directed some of the customers to checkout in customer service. That was a joke because customer service was just as bad.

It's been about almost 6 months since I've shopped at this Walmart in Griffin, Georgia. With the COVID-19 pandemic going on there's been some changes to the policies and the way we shop now. We're required or by choice to wear face mask/coverings so we can protect ourselves or slow the process down of the virus. So Walmart has upped their cleanliness and ensuring that everyone is safe, I really appreciate that and I really enjoyed the shopping experience at this Walmart. I had a chance to go early in the morning when there's little traffic, because I'm sure in the evening it can be a little chaotic. But overall it wasn't that bad and if I'm ever out there in that area again I'll definitely be stopping by. Also there are fully stocked on certain items minus the Lysol and a few other cleaning products that are commonly out in the warehouse that's making it difficult for the stores to get in.

Just terrible. Went in to purchase some jewelry and no one was working the counter. Ask for help several time by pushing the red button, still no assistance. Ask an employee, she said she sent someone, they never came. Then all of a sudden, the person who see about the jewelry department left and went home. I ask what about someone else, the reply was they the only one with a key. Lol walmart get your stuff together. Terrible customer service. As well walmart, you need to bring back real customer service, meaning having people at the register and not all these dang self service machine.

It's pretty small compared to some of the surrounding cities Walmart's but located in a very busy and diverse shopping center.Plenty of other shopping in the area and tons of places to eat.Murphy ⛽️ station is just a cross the parking area and usually is the cheapest gas in a 5 mile+ radius.This Walmart is nicely laid out in my opinion. If you wanna get in, quickly find what you need and get out this is one of the BEST Walmart's I have found that serves this purpose.Overall very clean too with a great and friendly staff just a very small Walmart compared to others in surrounding areas like Hampton, McDonough, Fayetteville and others.

This store has a little bit more than the other stores when it comes to groceries. It's always pretty much well stocked, and clean a lot cleaner than well, very helpful just prefer this store.

I’ve got to say, Walmart curbside is the way to go. Headache free! No need to wonder around the store and wait in those ridiculous self check out lines. On top of that, both of my recent trips this month the male associates have been so kind! I always forget to ask for names to give a proper recognition but they both have been so pleasant!

I use the pharmacy there and the ladies are very friendly. They are also quick on filling your prescription. The pharmacy line moves quickly and when you have to speak with a pharmacist they are right there addressing your needs. My only complaint is the rude girl that works the door. I have a service dog under 10 pounds and they are allowed to ride in a buggy. I have him for a reason I don't need any negativity. Needless to say she triggered my bipolar and GAD. She isn't even friendly. What calms my life you may not need. Mind your business! I am following rules and just trying to make it through my day. She is the only one that does it. I haven't seen the girl since our last encounter thank goodness.

Extremely rude employees not only did they not honor a posted price of an item, but worse that’s that the employee was extremely rude and unhelpful the one lady whom unassuming to be a supervisor couldn’t even take her eyes off her phone long enough to even have a conversation. Rude and ridiculous. Item rang up double the amount posted and I did confirm with an employee working in the area that 14.96 was the correct price since price check on my phone was double that amount.

Ever since the redesign of the checkout lines it has increased the time and frustration with checking out. the lines are from the produce side to the pharmacy side. Busiest time of day on a weekend 500pm 600pm and not all of the cashier checkout lines are fully staffed. You cut back the number of cashier stations and still don't fully staff the remaining ones.How ridiculous. You are forcing people to use self checkout and wonder why there is shrinkage on a large level There were people coming in the store and turning around and leaving seeing this mess of a new system. Not to mention how the quality of people have declined. All of the good cashiers are gone. Just rookies who really don't care and have no meaning of work ethics. Get your act together walmart.
