This Lowe’s Home Improvement located in Griffin, Georgia is a very busy store. With it being so busy, the store itself looks very worn. I’m not sure how old this location is but it could use a facelift. Also we noticed some of the floor model appliances are in disarray. Especially in the washer, dryer and refrigerator areas. The employees that we encountered today were very helpful.

Went inside bought 8 rail road ties. Asked cashier to call for a forklift driver. Waited 25 mins. Two employees parked a forklift down from us. Asked for their help loading the rail road ties. They responded we are gonna have to wait because they are busy pulling a call order. No problem will keep waiting. Two different other employees come out and ask said forklift driver (Jamie) to load the rail road ties. He proceeded to say he won’t be helping us load them. Due to this order he is pulling! At this point 45 mins has went by and me and my employees start to load them ourself. During this process. We are loading onto a bed that’s 5FT in the air. My employe was injured during this. So I’ll be taken further actions against Lowe’s. Since the driver of the lift wanted to sit there on the lift and just watch us! I went inside to exchange a life time warranty shovel. At the same time purchased 4 new rakes and one new shovel for my crew. Tried to speak to a store manager. Who was Not available. So they gave me a customer service rep. Who did offer us 10% off the shovels and said he would be handling the issue. I pay for the shovels. Then the lady processed to tell me she gave me 20% off but as you can see on this receipt. That’s not the case paid full price. Which I was not even about to argue with her over it. My arm was injured as well and I was just ready to be out of there. Gonna be passing this along to my lawyer for further investigation into this company.I will be calling tomorrow to give Lowe’s a chance to make this right.

Disappointed. Usually better service. Went inside to pickup Internet order. They couldn't find it. The associate that was helping me wasn't really interested in being there. She could not have moved any slower. She seemed to be inconvenienced. Normally I can pick up an order in a couple of minutes. It took almost 20 minutes to find my order.

Seems like they have less and less sales people readily available to help customers. You may have to walk the floor over to find an employee. The self checkouts are annoying,the scanner was not working when I tried to purchase only one item, 😅 line filled up quickly behind me and another customer stepped in to try to assist. Makes me not want to go there with no personal interaction or customer care associate.

We went into the store looking for scrap wood to put under construction dumpster wheels. We found three very warped plywood boards on a cart in the back. Two Lowe’s employees said we should be able to get a price on it from Fran the cashier. We loaded them up and headed to the register. Fran the cashier was very friendly and called a supervisor over to help right away. The supervisor came over said she was unable to sell it to us as it gets combined with other damaged boards and sold as a package. I asked if she could just give us a price on just these boards and she refused.We were left at the cashier by the supervisor with no other alternatives. We weren’t offered help in lumber to find an alternative for our needs. It was a flat no. We had money to spend and we are planning on spending more as we embark on some DIYs. We certainly will be heading to Home Depot first.After we left Lowe’s we went across the street to Home Depot where we received excellent customer service and left with all we needed.The cashier, Fran, at Lowe’s was very kind and professional. The only positive part of our trip to Lowe’s.

Drywall was listed 2 for one price, I picked up two. Lady at checkout scanned all 4 individually, and when asked why, she refused to give a direct answer. $40 I was overcharged, and when I brought it to the attention of the manager or customer service, they weren't helpful, but rather defensive and rude then denied that they were in the wrong and refused to refund me.Don't bother responding, Lowe's unless you're willing to give me my money back.

The lady at the register made me go back and take pictures 3 times not believing that what I had was clearance! Finally I got an employee to explain it to her but still wouldn't give me the correct clearance price

Do not buy a warranty plan from Lowes they will not show up for a scheduled service appointment apologize reschedule then not show up again and repeat this cycle until you give up and go to Home Depot where they appreciate your business. Customer service is not a priority to Lowe's what so ever. They took my money for the washing machine and the warranty plan, once my washing machine broke Lowe's refuses to help me get my washing machine fixed. It's only a year and a month old and thier idea of service is to schedule a service technician which then no calls no shows they then apologize and schedule another technician that no calls no shows. This has went on for 2 months. Lowes believes if they can continue this horrible service until my warranty runs out then Lowes will not have to fix it. No one at Lowes in griffin cares to help. No one at Lowes corporate cares. No one at Assurant (Lowes warranty company) cares because they are all thieves. Sold me a service that they never planned on providing. GO ACROSS THE STREET TO HOME DEPOT. Home Depot actually appreciates your business and provides customer service so that you return. Worst mistake ever was doing business with Lowes. A true life nightmare to even speak to anyone that has anything to do with Lowes. Do not do business with Lowes save yourself the headaches and go across the street.

Tried to purchase doors, but I was told to leave the isle by a rude woman because "work was being done"... meaning no one was down the isle until I went down it. Lowes has gone down will with hiring people that don't do, understand or know anything about construction or building. This is pathetic when I was trying to purchase several prehung doors. Just go to Home Depot. I will never do business with Lowes again.

This Lowes in Griffin, GA deserves 10 stars! 5 stars for product availability/having what I needed in stock, and another 5 stars for having such a well-organized garden center! For the past 2 weeks, I have been searching high & low for Pennington Ultra Green Azalea, Camellia, & Rhododendron plant food. Lowes’ website had all the metro Atlanta area stores showing the product as being available with anywhere from 3-17 bags on hand in store. I placed orders online for curbside/in-store pickup from the following locations, but they would all get cancelled several hours later: Sandy Springs, Chamblee, Norcross, both Alpharetta locations, Edgewood, Camp Creek, & Stone Mountain. I called the Stockbridge store because online it said they had 15 in stock, luckily an employee answered the phone and I had him actually go look, but there were none. I called the Camp Creek location several times; never once did anyone answer the phone there. Lowe’s website said the McDonough location had 16 available on hand, but an employee there was nice enough to call me 20 minutes after I placed my order to tell me she couldn’t find them anywhere. I even went in person to search a few stores myself, but alas, nowhere to be found. I even ordered directly from Lowes online for them to just ship it to me, but when the estimated delivery date arrived it had not even been shipped out yet. This Griffin location was the farthest away from me and my absolute last resort. Online said there were 17 in store. I ordered, and it wasn’t cancelled! In under an hour I received a locker pickup code! I was excited! It took me 1 hour 10 minutes to drive from home to here in no traffic, and another 1 hour 30 minutes to make it back home. I bought 2 bags, and I saw that there were actually 9 more on a top shelf in a box in the garden center, meaning there were 11 in store (not 17). I am just so relieved to finally have found what I’ve been wanting to feed to my blueberries plant! I just wish Lowes would come up with a better inventory tracking system or one that is way more accurate and up to date! I greatly appreciate the Griffin Lowes for not only having what I needed, but a wide array of everything else. It must be a huge store because they had tons of products in the garden center I have never seen in the Sandy Springs and Chamblee locations. All the flowers and plants looked healthy, not dried out and wilted. Even the extra garden center inventory that was boxed up was clearly labeled and efficiently organized. I was thoroughly impressed. No employees were available for assistance or questions, but that was because the store was busy full of customers. Thank goodness for this location!

We have been all over the place trying to find some white wash. If you are looking for white wash you must go here. Most other Lowe's do not have it and I have yet to find a home depot location that carries it. We have bought alot of clearance items here for our new home which is coming along quite well.

I noticed over the winter that Lowe's actually covered up their plants when it was going to freeze. They really seem to care about their plants, and I love that they mark down the ones that look a little bad instead of trashing them or letting them die to get a credit.

There are 12 handicap parking spaces and around 60 free parking spaces. The building is in excellent shape and well organized. The employees are friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the products sold in this store. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my purchases with this home improvement store.

The service here is really sometimey… there were some people who were very friendly and helpful when shopping but some were not helpful at all when shopping. We checked out at the return counter because my grandparents do not do self check out and they wanted to make sure they got their military discount. The woman was friendly when checking out but trying to exchange something they bought was a different story. Just forget about exchanging or returning anything if it was a gift. i had a picture of the receipt, my grandparents(the ones who bought the things for my home repairs) information such as birthday etc. and I was on the phone with them to share their consent and they would not let me exchange or get a gift card to buy a few other things that I needed. They really acted like I was getting on their nerves and they didn’t want to help. I had a better experience returning things to HD.

I was looking for a good tool storage system, and found the Klein Mod Box, and knew I had found what I was looking for. Can't wait to add other boxes and accessories. It looks good and is well made. In a few months I'll add a long term review, because if it's still working well for me, it'll work well for anyone.

Wanting to get new appliances? DON'T GO HERE! After several calls, my husband was hung up on so I decided to call and speak to a manager and see what the problem was and if we could get help buying some appliances. After 10 min of being on hold, a woman with an attitude answered and asked what I needed. I explained I had been on hold waiting for a manager for 10 min. She didn't say a word and put me back on hold for 25 min. Then I remembered that we had bought a stand up freezer about 5 yrs ago and paid for delivery, when it arrived it was extremely dented and banged up. They refused to take it back or replace it! So, they will never get another dime from me or my family

So I went to cust svc for a mgr who also never showed. Yes, and there were maybe 8 customers in the store, so yeah. Drive across the street -they’ll help you!

Lowes staff are helpful they are a lil bit more pricy hence the 4 stars. I like how they have free air. but bad people always got to disrespect the hose or mess something up. And its just ridiculous that folks got to ruin it for everyone. So id like to thank lowes for putting up with it. And i hope they keep up the free air. It is appreciated.
