This store has a new guy who is rude he will not help the other employees check people out and speaks down to everyone I miss the fella before him everyone else there has always been very nice

I usually enjoy shopping at Dollar General. But the other day when I was shopping for a DoorDash customer at the Gillsville location, the cashier was very rude to me. I couldn't get a good signal on my phone and I was having trouble using the red card to pay for the item, which was one jug of tea. The female cashier had her daughter with her and was scolding her. Then she actually had the nerve to raise her voice to me, a customer. I tried to be nice, although I wanted to tell her off. This encounter has been bothering me ever since. I don't usually report things, but I feel this needs to be addressed. Aside from this very unpleasant experience, I think Dollar General is great and I enjoy shopping for good deals there.

They never have their shelves stocked anymore. I've started going to a different DG unless I absolutely need something right away. And then the shelves are empty. The inventory that is supposed to be on the shelves, are in the back, sitting on carts and no one but Donna ever puts it out!!! The shelves have not been stocked in at least a year. Why bother to go there when the shelves are always empty!! And the milk, it sets in the back and gets warm. Therefore it spoils very fast. This used to be a nice place. But it's not anymore. I try to go to the other one that is a few more miles from me. Because they ALWAYS have their shelves completely stocked!!

only 1 cashier there when i went and she was unloading a truck all alone. had to wait and then find her in the back to check out. she was awesome but it's obvious she needed help. so i won't punish her for being alone in the store.

The Dollar General was clean, neat and tidy and surprisingly cool inside the store but outside it was well over 90 degrees. The cashier was friendly and alert to checking her customers out quickly. She was also either straighting or pull out more freight. I was shopping with my 3 year old granddaughter and she requires 100% of my attention at all times. I'll return to the store because it's located close to my home, the selection of merchandise is of every thing I need and the prices can't be beat. Yes it's a awesome store.

For The Life Of Me I Cannot Figure Out How We That Live In Gillsville and The Nearby Areas Ever Made It Without, " DOLLAR GENERAL...."..It Has Made Our Little Town More Than A Dot On A Map...It Is Staffed With The Best Management And Staff Team of Any Dollar General I Have Done Business In...Friendly, Clean, Organized and Not Chaotic,...We Are Made Up Of Alot Of Farmers with Trades On The Side And This Store Fits Us Like A Glove....We Like To Refer To It As " The Mall Of Gillsville "....You Can Put The Team Of Workers From This Store Up Against Anybody...You'll Not Find a More Inviting Or Gracious Team Any Where Else...Thank You Dollar General For Picking Our Little Town To Land In And Being Selective With The Management and Employees You chose...We'll Keep 'em....

Dollar General at Lula is terrible. You can never find anything. The store is always in disarray. The workers if you ask a question seem to be mad just for having to bother them. Emily is the very worst. She buffs everytime she is spoken to. Like I am so glad I am here I could just s--t!!! Tear the store down along with the workers and start anew. That is the only hope for Lula.

This is where I do alot of shopping at times, they have always treated me right, always nice, always helpful, and when I had surgery made sure I didn't pick anything up heavy and helped me even to the car. I thank all y'all.

The Mall of Gillsville is a very convenient stop on the way to Commerce from Lula. The store has a good variety of items, and the prices are competitive, without all the hassle of going to a big box store. Tip: download your electronic DG coupons before you arrive because the internet is sometimes hit or miss in this area.
