Few places these days you enter an associate actually comes up and asks if they can assist you. This store is such a place that still provides such help. It benefits the shopper and the store since customers can find what they need and move on. If you wish to browse you can decline help and take your time.

Been going to Ace Hardware nearly 55 years. My daddy would tell me what he needed,Mama drove me into town. I talked to those good folks at Ace like they were family. I was shy,but they made me feel good about being there. Then it was Ralph Taylors Ace Hardware. They help me get what I was sent for and I tell 'em"Daddy say put it on his bill" That's the way good folks did business back then. I still like walking into where it is now. The place has changed,but not the good folks that are still running it.😄

Had an experience in the store that I addressed with the person that checked me out at the register. I will spend my money elsewhere from now on. Always get a negative vibe whenever I go into this store anyways. They don't have good customer service to certain people!!! But they'll except your money... Not mine no more. And yes I'm going to tell everyone I know about what happened.

Ace Hardware of Elberton is the go to place in Elbert county Georgia, the staff are all local to the county, Sammy is one of the most knowledgeable people I know of when it comes down to doing an electrical job. He is also very knowledgeable of plumbing. When Sammy ain't there next person I look for is Scott "Scotty" he's like a mini-Sammy when it comes down to knowing things. The prices are very reasonable compared to big box stores. If they ain't got what you need Sammy or Scott will do what they have to, to get what you need. They cut black pipe, thread black pipe, cut plexiglass to your measurements, cut glass to your measurements. They carry a wide variety of things for mobile home customers, they still use the square tiles to measure rope, chain, cable, wire, they do it right in front of the customers so they know they are treated fairly and not being taken advantage of, like you would be in some big box stores. Tools is my favorite area and they have a wide variety of different tools on hand, wood working, metal working, electrical work , tile setting, welding, craftsman tools, dewalt tools, Kreg systems tools, clothing, camping gear, door, window installation items, wide variety of door locks, light fixtures, lawn maintenance equipment, gas and charcoal grills, propane refilling station, Key making for home, auto, locks, they also carry a variety of lock and key components. If your in town, drop in and just say hello, the staff are always willing to assist the customers, you dont have to go looking for staff there, they greet you at the door and will stay with you until all your needs are done.
