My wife and I went in to buy a trimmer. The first young man that helped us knew nothing about what he was selling and had a flippant comment when my wife said pole saw instead of pole trimmer. He could not have gotten away any faster then he did and left us standing there. The next gentleman that we got to help us took the pole trimmer in the back and started it supposedly since we did not see it. Bad practice not showing the customer it worked. While checking out the young lady at the counter muttered and then couldn’t find the right price. I prefer to spend my money locally but will be going to big box stores for my next purchase.

Very rude seem racist I spent plenty money at that place. The vibes is we don't serve your kind very sad I'm a business owner as well and no one will receive that type of vibe from my staff by the way I buy my stilt products from parkers but some what the same

Met with assistance as soon as I walked in the door. The cashier directed me to an area where an employee helped me find my purchases. I was in andout in less than 5 minutes.Excellence service.

I was looking for B&B charcoal and they were the only place in my area that had it. Now some of the items were a lil bit pricier than other stores but a great local place to shop at.

After having many extremely terrible experiences at Home Depot, I realized that going back to our roots as a country built upon Mom & Pop stores instead of Mega Corporations is the ONLY WAY we'll survive as a people instead of a number/non-human. CJ Potter treated me with dignity & respect that HD does not. I cannot praise CJ enough! I felt reassured that his Peoples Skills & exquisite Craftsmanship would help me with my dilemma that HD seemed not the least to even CARE to attempt to resolve. It took 5 minutes for me to even get a HD associate to show up, only to be told, much to my chagrin, that they couldn't do what I needed.Even though I arrived frustrated & seemingly helpless just before closing, CJ effortlessly assisted me like NO ONE else had. He was able to resolve my issue in less time than HD could even get someone to show up to help me. Though this Ace Hardware is twice as far away as HD, I will definitely choose Ace over the Soulless Uncaring Automations inhabiting HD!This young man surprised me & re-instilled within me the VALUES that I fought for as a Military Veteran. Some of the youth of this country seem not to CARE for the older generation such as me. CJ showed me the COMPASSION & UNDERSTANDING we so desperately need to grow strong as a REAL & TRUE nation of hard-working individuals. He is truly ONE-OF-A-KIND! If only others were like this bright young man.Thank you CJ for rekindling my spirit. I have a renewed outlook & HOPE in your dedication & perseverance that so many are lacking. Keep up the Good Fight that our Founding Fathers began &, hopefully, we will be the great country once again that others only dream of being! He is most definitely a True & Genuine American. This is one of the best Ace hardware stores I've been to. Always friendly and helpful. I'm glad we have this business in dallas! They have abundant stock and the store is well organized. I don't mind paying a little bit more for quality over quantity.

This place is an example of excellent customer service. From the moment you walk in until you are pushing the door to leave, they are actively helping and making conversation. Just one of those places where you don't mind spending your money.

I love to shop local, but this store has been in a continual decline since opening. The merchandise is a mess. More likely than not, items are all over the place in the wrong slots or hangers. Regular stock items are continually out of stock because either the wrong item is in its place or theft (shrink) without reconciliation of what's actually in the store.Things off the top of my head that were out of stock or have not been restocked were1. Electrical Boxes2. 3/8 Condensate Line3. Nuts, Bolts, Hardware etc.Most employees try to be helpful but they don't have the right or adequate training. To the owner - this store desperately needs your attention to train employees on the practices necessary to keep customers coming back. You may want to have a team member that is wholly dedicated to stock reconciliation. I don't know- I don't run a retail business. These observations from the last 24 months.Without any change, instead of coming here in the future, I'll save the 10 minutes coming in to the store only to be disappointed and keep going to the orange box, which is unfortunate because your ACE is less than 5 minutes from my house.

My husband and I just left this store on Saturday, June 10,2023 @1543. We were not greeted upon entering however were followed around the store by two young male employees. Not sure what their intentions were. Neither employee offered to help us.I personally feel like we were racially and economically profiled. Needless to stay, we will never come here again.

I came in at 10:15 AM on a Thursday. I needed some paint samples. Was told “the paint guy won't be back for an hour”. Train all of your employees to work the paint station or don't offer it as a service. My experience with other Ace locations is that multiple people know how to work the paint station. It shouldn't be dependent upon one person. That's just poor management and not customer focused. I'll pass on this location.

I don’t know how to spell his name but the young guy (REE-IN) in the service department fixed my STIHL backpack blower and was cordial, informative, and a great attitude about his work. He told me what was wrong with it in plentiful depth and how I can do perform preventative maintenance to keep my blower from failing again and running better than before. Give the kid a bump in pay. It was also late in the day when I took it in just 20 min before he was supposed to leave and I hate being that guy but I told him just look at it when you can and he took it and added to his queue of work without hesitation despite he was leaving soon. That makes me appreciative of his job as well. Thanks again.

Always someone to help, and I can find things that I can't in Home Depot especially when it comes to bolts and screws or plumbing parts. Quicker, easier, and closer than Home Depot, and they always give the dog a biscuit!

These folks met me at the door to help me get all the items on my list! All items were collected except for one that was out of stock. They were friendly and offered advice when asked for. I had no questions left unanswered.The prices for the items were comparable to other stores in the area. The bundles of wood were actually cheaper than I expected so I got two!Last year I went to a different Ace store. I am not a builder. Imagine me trying to match up on one type of screw from the hundreds(?) in their stock. Another item I was checking on was a lightweight saw. The young man could not bother to leave his stool to help. I have never gone back.I know good service and that is what I received at the Dallas Ace Hardware on Dallas/Acworth hwy! They are just down the road and easy to find. I will return and I do recommend to all my friends. ♥️

It's closer to my house, but it is not big at all and they do not carry a lot of stuff, nor a variety. In no way compares to Tractor Supply. The folks are nice though and the one up side...they have a paint department and unlike Walmart there is someone that can help you.

I want to recognize this store & its manager,Huck, as having outstanding customer service & quite simply he is one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He spent an hour in a hot car in his parking lot trying to program my new key fob . And I didn’t start this journey at his store; he did this as a courtesy to me & to the manager(Rob) of Crossroads Ace. He turned a situation that “ went south” quickly into one that had a successful outcome. He & his store are a wonderful asset to our community.

Well my experience was very good and just wanted to share it. I love going to ace hardware because of the customer service experience each person receives. I had a great guy ask me if I needed help and if he didn’t know where it was or if they had it he would find out for me. He was very personable and asked how I was doing and was funny as well. He just was so helpful and kind every step through what I needed. I would certainly recommend going to ace especially if you want to receive great customer service.

I was looking for paint and had a great experience with a young man working at there, he is from Rockmart. He was very knowledgeable regarding what type of paint I should use that would work for my porch. Also for the best paint to use inside of my home. So glad they are 5 minutes from my home. All the employees are so nice

Excellent customer service from start to finish. After shopping at Lowes almost exclusively for the last few years, it was refreshing to finally shop at a place that valued me as a customer. They assembled my grill and even submitted a warranty claim for me for something that was broken in the box and then delivered it - assembled (!) - and helped me get it in place.

This was our first time stopping in to this location since it opened. The store itself was mostly neat and tidy which was appreciated. What disappointed me is that price matching the stores incorrect signage doesn't apply. When I informed the cashier about the incorrect price of the item I wanted to purchase I received a short answer of 'well the price probably changed not too long ago. Do you still want it?' No, not if you're not going to honor your own sign. So over all okay but not as inclined to stop in when I get a better feeling and better service at a bigger name store.

Good little store, saves the hassle of running further into town for the big stores, or having to find parking at those big stores when you need jist a simple part or two. Overpriced a bit, but you pay for convenience
