I love purchasing my mother's home needs from this store,And they gave a class mate of mine a job (ty) to help him get his life back on track. Just some good people at that Ace hardware store. So if your a resident of Oglethorpe please shop there and help keep the lights on.

Imagine your old fashioned hardware store: stuffed to the rafters with inventory but in this case everything is shiny and new. The staff is decent, friendly and knowledgeable and will actually make eye contact. The owner, Tony, is often found in uniform on the floor helping his customers. The prices are surprisingly competitive with the big box stores too.

In my opinion this is the best Ace Hardware store I’ve ever been in! They have a great selection of tools, lawn and outdoor equipment & accessories as well as grills. They also have a great staff that are very knowledgeable people who are always willing to help. Also they have a good selection of hunting and fishing accessories!

This store is AMAZING! I have stopped in four times in the past week for quick items needed for my build. Michael is very knowledgeable about everything and so helpful! He helped me customize a paint. It took four tries to get the color I wanted and he was so kind and patient each time I came in to try again. The other staff were very courteous as well. I even ran it just before 5pm on Sunday and they kept the door open right up until closing time and were kind even though I came in just minutes before closing. I would highly recommend this store for your home improvement and project needs!

If I can give a zero I would. Bought $4,700 in 1.15 inch pipe 20 feet long. We picked up on a trailer and guy loading seemed mad that he was working. Husband said just throwing it on the trailer. Unloaded pipe in rain and put it all in our shop. After we had time to look at pipe we noticed that some of the bell ends damaged. About 10. I called and told them and the owner said just let us know the exact number and we will order you more. I called today to tell them I need to have 10 replaced and they said the owner said no he would not give us 10 replacements. I will never do business with these people again!!! What the hell kind of customer service is that??? Oh and they offered me a discount on the couplings.... really..... take the discount and you know what you can do with it. You won't get another dime from me and I am calling the head of the Ace hardware chain and letting them know how you are conducting business in our community. There are several pipe worse than the posted one!!

The owners both took time to help us with a project idea, giving true pros and cons (not a sales pitch) about different products that might meet our needs. When there was a hiccup at checkout, the employee worked quickly but refused to "work around" the problem and insisted on SOLVING the problem so it didn't happen again to someone else. Also, great inventory and the store is maintained well.

I just want to say the was the best the got me everything I needed to fix my water line I really did not know what I needed but I told them and I think it was the manager he came over and help get everything I had my water back on in a hour I have to say I want to lowe because the open at 8 so I could not get anyone to help me I ask this one man he said it done there so I just lift and I am glad I did because ace help me a lot thanks

I WAS PUTTING UP A CELEINNG FAN AND WAS NEED ING A BIT THAT FIT MY DRILL TOO TIGHTEN A SCREW IN A PLATE IN THE CELEING THAT WAS LOOSE TOO HOLD THE BRACKET THAT THE CELEING FAN MOUNTS TOO STOP IN AND ASK THE GUY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR HE FOUND THE BIT THAT I WAS LOOKING FOR WAS VERY SATFIED WITH THE SERVICE
