The staff has been wonderful at Blackshear Veterinary Hospital! They have always treated us loke family. Dr. McCall has been so helpful to me especially when I was in a panic about my Golden having a strange reaction to something she came in contact with. She now takes care of my 2 Golden Retrievers. My Goldens are such an important part of my life and she understands and shows her love for them and ME! I have also used the grooming and boarding located next door and have been thrilled with their care for my babies. Both are always excited to visit. I am so thankful for these people who love our animals!

Dr. McCall and the entire staff at Blackshear are absolutely fantastic. We were traveling down to Florida and our 4 month old puppy became very sick and in need of desperate care, and they got us in immediately. They were extremely kind and professional from the moment we walked in the door. They were not out for a money grab, they genuinely care about helping our little guy get better as soon as possible. We can not recommend them enough!!! We greatly appreciate you all!!!

I took my dog to the doggie spa, and the staff there was so nice, and they were so patient with my Zealand. PetSmart had turned my baby down because they said he was aggressive. I came to this doggie spa and the groomer said he isn’t aggressive, and that he was only afraid. They were patient with Zealand, and they suggested to bring him every week so that he could get more familiar, and better with the grooming process. My pup is 8months btw, and he’s an unknown mixed breed. When picking Zealand up from the doggie spa, Zealand was well groomed for his behavior (I do know he’s a handful, but I am working with him) and Zealand’s tail was wagging, and that made me feel sooo good, because I thought we were doomed. Wait time was a little excessive. 11:20 appt for annual vaccines. Taken to a room after 12 noon. Tech & vet were pleasant, took their time weighing & checking pet out before giving vaccines.

Dr. Haley is the best! She is always so patient and compassionate with our dog, Kid. The entire staff loves him and treats him like he's their favorite patient. When we had an emergency, they got Kid in for treatment and on his way to a full recovery. We would recommend Blackshear Veterinary to anyone!

We were camping at GA Veterans State Park a few weeks ago when our dog became sick. She was itching and panting. We were 3 or 4 hours from our normal vet so we found Blackshear vet online and hoped for the best. It was almost closing but they welcomed us in and treated us like we were one of their regulars. Great staff and vet. They fixed iur dog right up and we got to enjoy the remainder of our camping trip. Great vet can't say enough good things. You guys in Cordele GA should appreciate them.

Everyone is so nice and helpful. Took my Pom in for his shots. Didn’t have to wait and finished in no time. Dr. McCall is always great and gives you options for whatever ails your little one. I’m grateful that she always starts with the least evasive and least expensive. She is so knowledgeable and understands the struggles an owner faces. I’m so very thankful to have her and the wonderful staff. Heather is a great vet tech and always tries to make Forest feel more comfortable since he is always so scared. That also means a lot to me.

I absolutely love Blackshear veterinarian. They are the best vet!!!! If you’re looking for good people who want what’s best for your baby’s and make you feel welcome. This is definitely the place to go! They have always been my go to for all three of my baby’s or my few rescues who come and go. They have great prices, great attitudes, and a great environment for you and your baby’s. They are great at reminding you about appointments and upcoming shots or monthly medicines that are due.(sometimes I get so busy it slips my mind) This is definitely my top place I have ever been too and I’m never changing. My baby’s love them!
