The clinic was not crowded there were no lines. I had 3 pets that needed shots. I kept back one star because I paid for supposed antibiotics which did absolutely nothing for my dog.

Heather and her staff and volunteers are personable and friendly. Upon entering, I felt in the presence of animal lovers. The building is beautiful. It even has a doggie boutique for shopping. They had the dog I was picking up ready to go. Overall, it is definitely a five star place for pooches.

I just want to thank Heather and her very lovely office staff for helping me get everything I needed for my sweet girl Cookie. They truly go above and beyond for big and small needs; you can definitely tell they lead with their heart. Quite often people don't understand the blood, sweat and tears that go into a rescue, and GCRR definitely always goes all in. So next time you are feeling generous, have an old blanket, towels or anything useful to give away, I am sure they can use it or they can pass it on to a rescue that can -send it their way! Every little bit helps!💜

There is nothing but good to be said here. I've been using GCRR for years now for our monthly meds and the dog park is huge and FUN! Heather and the staff moves mountains and I appreciate that when it comes to the fur babies!

We adopted Mozzie (He was Arby at the time) from here back in 2019. You can tell they really care about each animal there. The staff is super friendly. Would highly recommend adopting from them.

I rescued a puppy from a different rescue and had a health scare a few days later. My vet couldn’t see him for several days but Heather, on her day off, told me to come on in and checked him out for me and put my mind at ease. Very professional. Very kind. 10/10 will recommend.

I can't say enough about the wonderful job Heather and her crew do! They are a blessing for every stray and castaway that is lucky enough to find its way to their door! I adopted my first dog from them over 10 years ago and I've gone back (despite moving across the state) for every adoption since. LOVE these guys! I've used them to care for my cats for years. They have. always acted professionally and courteously and have helped me out quite a few times with my own mobility difficulties to still care for my two felines. THANK YOU GCRR! You may have dogs in your name but even cats are accepted with care.

Heather and her friendly staff are awesome.. I have never hesitated to take any of my animals to the k9 rescue in cochran ga.. Even when I lived 3hrs away in north ga I still took the time to take my animals to her instead of going somewhere local.. U will never find a more caring and affordable place!!! Thanks for everything u do!! #I❤MYFURBABIES!!!

Today I tried to adopt Brownie a Doberman from an adoption event at PetSmart. Apparently I was in a round about way was informed I was unfit to care for her. I don’t know if I was because of my race, of because they felt that was was financially incapable of taking care of her. I was patient and I listened to all the requirements needed for her to be in my care even though it became increasingly like an interrogation and was turned down. I was told to give up personal information like my address and family count and still couldn’t take her home. Even if there was a process that was supposed to be done I wasn’t informed and I was turned away. I even told them that I was active duty military I have a large house with a large above ground basement. Her medical needs are no issue for me financially. But apparently it wasn’t to be, despite the good reviews I got from this place it didn’t live up to it for me. Everyone else went home on the same day for their pets. I plan to file further complaints.

Love Misty the groomer. She is the Best part of the whole Center!!! The center always smells of Animal poo. But appears clean. Some of the staff can be rather rude. Can't just take an animal you rescued off the streets from being killed, in for them to care for. Very disheartening. Never seen a "Rescue" that wouldn't "Rescue"...got to jump Thur hoops.

we have had a dog from this rescue for 9 months and he was a part of the family, spoilt :) His temperament changed with age and he got very nippy and aggressive, he bit my husband and drew blood and then went for my daughter. We tried to work with him but the children were getting more scared of him and other dogs.I called the rescue to return him and they did not make it easy to give him back, despite the fact they tell you to return them to the rescue if you ever have a problem. He was a great dog until recently and it sad to see him go but believe he needs a different family without kids. The rescue demanded we pay for the final set of shots which he did not have as he attacked my husband the day we were taking him getting into the car but if I do not pay for them they wont take him and if I give him away to another person or pound they will fine me!We still care for the dog and just wanted to find him the best home but paying out more for a dog that will not be a part of my family is very frustrating and unfair. I paid for him when we got him, gave him his shots, cared and spoiled him and now they make us look like we are cruel. The dog is not good with kids as he is too aggressive although I think he is thinking he is protective but I would think twice about dealing with a rescue who promotes fines and does not put kids safety first but their pocket book.

There are no animal for adoption the location site, we were told they are already fostered out or to look at local petsmart on there adoption day to see what they have, the lady only answer 2 questions then she went back to attend her phone, then she didnt say much we waited over 20mins and we just decided to leave.
