Our Great Dane was pregnant and went into labor but started bleeding profusely and struggling physically so we called our regular vet that we've used for our 7 dogs and cats over the last 5 years only to be told that they were understaffed and couldn't help us. This was an emergency situation and we were told we'd have to look for another vet to take her to. Thank God we called Clermont Veterinary Hospital next, words can't express our appreciation to Dr Savage and his INCREDIBLE staff. They told us to bring her in immediately, upon arrival they rushed her straight back to a room and eventually emergency surgery. They took such great care of our big girl, saved her from a life threatening situation and returned her to us all in the same day. Thank you for everything.

Me and my boyfriend noticed our kitten was being very lethargic and sleepy, so we took his feces to this vet and requested a fecal matter test, we told them to specifically test for coccidia. (after prior research and talking to a family friend with experience in kittens) They took a look at the feces and just said he had worms. We had already been aware of his worms and we were relieved. However his lethargy continues and a couple weeks later we took him back, where they actually gave a thorough evaluation and diagnosed him with coccidia. The next day he went into shock and died. We felt that this could have been prevented if his feces had actually been properly evaluated and not just glanced at.

Clermont Vet is the best ever!!! My fur baby has had a reaction to shots in the past and they have found an awesome way to help him be totally fine and not react bad to the shots. He did so well the last time he was there and had no issues. Thank you all for your awesome, caring staff that takes great care of fur babies.

We boarded our little doggie three times, and each time she has come home traumatized. After each boarding she has had an urinary infection plus diarrhea. We leave food for her in a baggie and each time we pick it, it is as full as before. We specifically told them to use the food we supply, but apparently they do not. In addition, the please is filthy. You open the door and you can pass out with urine and feces smell. In addition, the floor in the waiting room looks like it has not been clean in months, can just imagine what the boarding areas look like.

Took our dog for emergency euthanasia after hours of nonstop seizing. Our usually vet said they could not take her during lunch hour. Cleremont got us in immediately, and were wonderful and caring.

Clermont vet has always taken good care of our pups... unfortunately they were both really old and had to venture over the rainbow bridge this week. Everyone was very sympathetic and caring during our sad time. Also, they do not over charge like most vets. I will always come to clermont vet.

I have been using Clermont Veterinary for several years. They are the best when it comes to your pet needs. Always happy to answer questions and get you in quick if needed. They are very reasonable on prices and look for ways to help save money with rebates on meds. Give them a chance and you will be happy.

Called to get my very sick dog in. They said to come on in. Waited over 2.5 hours. They started putting multiple patients ahead of my dog that came in an hour after me. I just let. This place has gone down hill in the last few years. I moved all of my animals appointments to Cornerstone Vet.

This Veterinary Hospital is great!!! The Dr. is very honest and thorough, and the staff are always very kind, considerate, and good with my dog, Yuma (he loves them). My only complaint is that I still have not met the Dr. in person because of COVID and think it is long overdue to get back to a "new normal" and not only see your fur baby patients, but see and talk to the owners 1 on 1 again too!!! After all, my own physician's seeing patients and they have to physically exam us humans... How are you by any means at a higher risk than them when you're examining our animals, not touching us???? I would be happy to wear a mask!!!

My lab was hit by a truck, so I took him to a vet that was very close to my home. I was told by that vet that to fix his leg it would be well over $5000 or they suggested to just cut off his leg for $1300. They did not stitch up any of his cuts or give any more help to my dog. I decided to have his X-ray sent over here to the Clermont Vet and they were so helpful and kind. They preformed the surgery to heal my dog’s leg that morning, stitched up the other cuts, and made him feel so much better. They gave me rehabilitation stretches to use with him, and detailed notes to take care of him. They also recommended stretches and foods that could help prevent his other hip from getting arthritis. They genuinely care about the well being of your animal and are very affordable with their service. The surgery to fix my dog’s hip was less than what the other vet was going to charge to cut it off. Thank you so much for caring for my baby.

We were traveling in our travel trailer and had an emergency with our 12 YO Yorkie. The staff was incredible. Dr. Donald and Dr. Hanson took personal ownership of our dogs problem. After several days of puking and diarrhea we were afraid he was getting dehydrated. We had no appointment but they worked him in on a Saturday morning.I will add that no other vet in Gainesville would accommodate us. They couldn't care less.Thanks Dr. Donald and Dr. Hanson.
