I just called and asked if they had a particular item before I drove over there. It was posted online that they carried it. The man who answered the phone said “NO” and slammed down the phone. This store has gone downhill since it was sold. It looks nasty inside , it’s way overpriced, and the new owners apparently don’t care about their customers. Now I remember why I stopped going months ago.

this is the worst IGA I've ever been in my life. Make sure you check expiration dates on cold and frozen foods. And the prices that are on the shelf are never what you pay at the cash register.

I like this IGA because they keep a close eye on expiration dates and everything I buy is fresh. The inventory is quite large for a small store. I love the crew there also.

I have to give this IGA a full five stars! We found this while driving to see if we could get a few needed items locally instead of running into Gainesville to one of the big chain stores.It was refreshing to walk into a small town shop that is not run by global corporate giants who have never heard of the town or met the people who call it home. It reminded me of my childhood of going to the local grocer or hardware store.They do have a decent selection of items from produce to meat, and all of the dry goods you may need, but as a small independent grocer, the selection is not as large as your chain stores. We were able to find everything we wanted and needed. The cost per item was higher than other retailers as to be expected since they cannot purchase in the quantity the big box people do. But, what I spent extra at this IGA was easily saved in fuel costs of making the drive to Gainesville.We were greeted when we walked inside the door and every staff member we met was friendly and helpful during our shopping trip. If we lived locally, I could see us making this a stop for those small shopping trips or one-off needs and visiting frequently. When in the area and finding ourselves in need of forgotten items, we will be returning.

Clean, with great attention to details ..the little young lady behind the counter was remarkable you could just see the intelligence beaming out her eyes as she pointed us in our perspective place to grab the grub we so desired I'd wholly without reservations put my recomendation in this home town home grown grocery extravaganza..!

Perfect hometown place for so many needs.Fresh produce! Good gas prices.Groceries awesome selection (only place I can get certain products that big chains can't ... seriously) so this place is a staple for many things I cannot get elsewhere so 10 🌟'sAlso great vape products!!Friendliest helpful staff! Went there for gas priced at 3.99Paid for gas in cash at 3.99Selected grade with screen clearly displaying 3.99 then the pump was promptly cut off. After hanging nozzle back up and going inside the man says he reset it. I go back out to begin pumping gas again, the price was then changed to 4.09Watch out or better yet just go somewhere else.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Since the virus,I have noticed the owners have raised prices on essential items, especially household cleaning supplies. Was in about 2 days ago and asked if they had face masks. They had one use masks, near the register, individually wrapped for $2.99 each. Price gouge much? Also, repair the craters in your parking lot!

This store used to be a fair priced easy go to place to shop, but lately it's not been the same. DO NOT BUY VAPES HERE!!! If you get a vape that does not work they will do nothing for you like most gas stations do, they will literally tell you there is nothing they can do but your welcome to purchase another even though it was opened in front of them!! A gallon of Crystal Water is 3.98 per gallon, it's the Iga store brand that's cheaper priced but only God knows how long that will last!! Also seems as though from my own grocery work history we are paying higher prices for a lower grade meat rather then the better quality meats sold at Kroger or Publix, I don't know about you but I would much rather spend my money on higher quality meat then pay higher prices for a lower grade!! Prices used to be fair and employees are all nice, but the employees can not control the pricing so we all have this "New Owner" to thank for the price gouging going on in this particular store!! Went to the iga in Cleveland to compare and wouldn't you know better quality and lower pricing so please stop lying to your customers about corporate price increases because that is now a PROVEN LIE!! Really wish the last guys who owned this place were still around at least they were truthful & respectable people who cared!!

I was at this store today and what I saw was troubling. The store manager (I think) was firing an employee but he was also verbally assaulting and chasing this employee screaming and cursing. I haven't been here to much but also the prices are not good. Charging $18 for sanitizer is gross price gouging. Will NOT be back.

This place is awsome if you live in clermont and don't want to travel to Cleveland or gainesville. They have everything you need and some. The clerks are all nice and polite and really fast. Love my iga in clermont!

Stopped by just to get some chicken for dinner, they had white out over all of the expiration dates. I scratched off the white out, the chicken had expired in April. it’s May12th. I called the health department on them, they said this wasn’t the first time that’s been reported at this location.

I shop at this store because it’s the only one close to my house in this town. It smells. It’s expensive. There are several items that have mold growing on them. Staff is friendly though! It works for grabbing last minute items.
