This pharmacy has gone completely downhill since the previous pharmacist left (Justin/Jason). Luckily, after years of loyalty to CVS, the current pharmacist's complete incompetence and complete lack of customer care led us to discover what a wonderful pharmacy Walmart in Clayton has. While I was initially disappointed in the service provided by CVS, I was so grateful that they actually unknowingly led me to a much better experience.

I sent my husband there with a picture of the specific medicine I needed, which was a behind the counter purchase. The pharmacist wrung it up, bagged it up, and he came home. He showed her 30mg Sudafed, she sold 240mg Sudafed!!! He goes right back and she won’t take it back! She says she didn’t realize. ??? Ok. So do the right thing! What kind of customer service is that? Won’t be back.

Everyone that works there is super helpful if I have questions, so that gets some stars. But... Usually it's a hassle to get my prescription filled even tho my Dr called it in days before and they say I can't fill it. Some months they don't have my medication and it takes weeks to get it in. It's not the best for my mental health when I miss my medication. I have to wait on the phone 4ever!!! I hate it but they are doing their best I guess. It's cheaper here than anywhere else around here so I'll deal with it. The people there are helpful and friendly when I get to talk to them. Jason is the man!

Nothing has ever gone smoothly in the pharmacy for the last 3 or 4 years . They never have enough staff on hand and the workers are over worked . When the head pharmacist is not there the fill ins will lie to your face , they need to be replaced.

The pharmacist, Jason, is very kind and helpful. He makes sure you get the best price possible.There is 1 female helper that has an attitude. She must be new in the last year. She puts you on hold with no warning while you’re talking, always acts aggravated, and told me recently they “won’t resend fax to Dr bc they already sent it”, even though dr said didn’t receive. 3 different calls…same attitude.The stars are for Jason, Jose, and Chad. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is the worst pharmacy experience I have ever had at a CVS. I dropped off 2 prescriptions to be filled. They were filled promptly, but later I noticed both said “0 refills.” That was not correct, so I called to ask. (Mind you, I just got out of the ER, but I thought it better to go ahead and fix the problem.) I spoke with a male pharmacist who told me they do not fill refills from the ER. That is not true, because I have been going to this CVS for 2 years and it’s never been a problem, so I told him just that. I expected more information, and thought maybe it was a new rule. Instead, he immediately became rude and argumentative, telling me I was wrong, to the point where I could not discuss the matter further. I tried to explain “I am only telling you my past experience,” but he would not see it that way. I chose to end the argument by asking to speak with a manager, which he said yes to, quipped “be civil,” and put me on hold. I didn’t expect to get very far over the phone, so I decided to go back to the store.Once at the store, a very nice blonde female clerk sent the manager (store manager, NOT pharmacy) to the pharmacy right away, at my request. I told him my issue. I expected he could mediate so that all relevant information could be made known, and any error be corrected. First, he asked to look at my prescriptions, which made me uncomfortable because it’s personal information protected by law. I showed him, assuming he was just trying to help. He tried to interpret and explain my prescriptions to me, only causing more confusion. I asked if I could please see the original prescriptions, and that I’d take my business elsewhere if I could not expect the service I was used to. He went to the pharmacists’ desk, looked over the papers provided, and for whatever reason chose the one prescription with no refills to show me, instead of bringing both. It could have been a mistake, but I’m not certain based on his attitude. If it was a mistake, it stands that it was not helpful. Once again he, the store manager (not a pharmacist) wanted to interpret and explain my medical information to me, without my asking or consent. I told him there are two prescriptions, and the concern was not about the prescription without refills. Sure enough the other page said 3 refills. I brought proof of my former prescriptions that had been refilled as well. Then, he changed his tune to say “We’ll fill whatever it says.” That was the only resolution I was hoping for, but I had to debate because of the prejudice that I was wrong. The only person actually trying to help, even so far as to call my doctor, was Julie, the other pharmacist. She was also the person who filled the prescription, so it made sense. The store manager and the other pharmacist primarily argued, put me to extra trouble, and maybe even try to fool me. I find their behavior insensitive and irresponsible; because this is a medication for an acute, even life-threatening condition; and I myself was fragile and really needed to be resting.

The store is always neat and clean when I go in. Everyone that works there is always super nice and ask what they can help me with. I usually go in to get meds filled. The last time I went through the window to get meds, Jason and this other gentleman helped me. Jason contacted my son’s doctor to have an inhaler filled that needed approval. I was so happy he went the extra mile to make sure my son was taken care of.

Short staffed and obviously the ones that are there are spread too thin to even answer the phone. It's been like this for years, not just recently. I've currently been on hold for 44 minutes to ask a simple question about a prescription. Would never use this pharmacy if my insurance didn't require it.

This is by far the worst drugstore to shop at. Although my husband and I both have the same insurance the "floater" pharmacist told him his shot was free but that mine was not covered by insurance. The phones were ringing off the hook and people were crowded around the counter. There were several with no mask and one of the only 3 employees in the entire store wore her mask around her chin. They are always short staffed CVS is BAD

Came for COVID testing for my wife and I as I was exposed to a positive COVID case. CVS made me do a “self test” and turned my wife away!! ... we have insurance! Staff was so rude!The same day we went to the Health Dept. Drive through - no problem.Don’t waste your time with this CVS

This pharmacey is a joke! I live with a life threatening condition and one of my medicines i need to live took 9 days to fill after i called it in early prior to that! Their excuse is they are short staffed! They do not care about their customers and do not know how to priortize!!!

Have been using this location for several years and have always had a positive experience. They have been understaffed at times but I won’t fault them for that as most businesses have the same problem. Sadly that is a work force issue that won’t be solved anytime soon.

Very well organized store and clean. Friendly cashier willing to go the extra mile to help a customer. They have a better book selection than Walgreens across the street. I would definitely recommend this store because their team is so helpful and friendly.

This pharmacy needs help getting the store and pharmacy staffed they will tell you give them 2 hours and they will have it ready you show up and it is not ready it took the a whole day fill 1 drug and then they told me were realy busey let me loan you a few get you buy and we will get it ready well i given them 2 days and i go back and they never even filled it i have to use them because my drug insurance is cvs carmark the tech rolled his eye at me today because i was complaining about there poor customer service how dare you Chad and i will call you out thats not how you treat customers you should be more concerned about the drug you dident fill could land me in the hospital beause you dident fill it
