After adopting a 3 year old catahoula/pit mix I reached out to Blackheart k9. I had the pleasure of working with Vanessa. She really help me through the entire process and answered my million questions. My dog Draco was with her board and train for 4 weeks and has come back an absolute dream. It has been very easy to keep up with his training due to Vanessa’s in person instructions. I am truly grateful for all that Vanessa and Blackheart K9 has done for Draco and I. 100% recommend!!!

We recently found a young Husky mix in a parking lot. He was underweight and very hungry. We decided to keep him after the dog catcher said he knew the owners, and they basically turned him loose. He was also very sweet, but had no training. He didn't know how to sit on command or anything else. He was also terrified of being locked in a crate. Scott and his staff have been wonderful. Koda is now great on a leash , sleeps in a crate, and loves his training sessions. He has made tremendous progress and very close to being off leash. I wish we had Scott train our previous dogs. Here is a pic before training. He no longer jumps on furniture, but we find the picture humorous.

We can’t say enough good things about BlackheartK9. Our Teddy completed the 2 week puppy program and we are so pleased with the results. Michael was the primary trainer and did a phenomenal job working with him and we could tell Teddy was extremely well cared for. We were able to meet Ally during pickup and then Scott and Michael when we reunited with Teddy. We could immediately see how passionate they all are about working with dogs and how knowledgeable they are. Teddy is now very confident and consistent with basic commands (sit, down, place, come) and he also started to work on heel and holding his sit/down which was a bonus. BlackheartK9 really individualizes the training for each dog and that was apparent! We wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for Big Dog training when Teddy is older. As first-time board and train dog owners, we are so happy with our decision to use BlackheartK9 and highly recommend them to anyone considering this option!

If you ever questioned- should I send my dog for training? The answer is absolutely YES. Scott and Ally walked us through every step of the way. They took very good care of Dottie. Although, Dottie took a little longer to adjust- they never rushed the process and kept us informed. And during the transition to come home, Dottie even showed us that Scott didn’t let her get by with doing whatever she wanted to do. I think she was just giving him examples for us -of what to do when she decided to have her moments.. 😂. We are so thankful for everything they did for our little fur-baby and the love they gave her. And for the 1st time - when we ate supper- she stayed in place the whole time!! Awesome 😎!!

I recently adopted a two-year-old Blue Heeler, and I am so impressed with the quality of her training and the kindness of Blackheart K9 Services. Ally took significant time out of her busy schedule to ensure I had the tools I needed for my dog, Poppy. She walked me through her commands, how to continue to work with her, and even took the time to discuss her personality. It's clear that Ally really cares about her work and the dogs she works with. Poppy is an absolute dream after the training she received. I've never had a dog this well behaved and who has acclimated to a new home so quickly. All around, it's been an amazing experience and I'm so grateful for Blackheart. I would absolutely recommend them! Thank you, Ally!

ReviewNot sure where to start other than, if you feel in your heart that you’ve exhausted all options, Scott and Ally are your only hope. I adopted Cai from a shelter and she was very sweet but completely and utterly scared of her own shadow. She would run, cower, hide from everything. I called a couple of trainers, they said that Prozac is the only thing that would help, and I felt there ‘had’ to be another option than drugging her. The last thing that ‘broke the camel’s back’ was her biting my bf’s mom’s leg as she was walking away. I called Blackheart after seeing all the great reviews, and Scott assured me that she was not being aggressive, that she had fear-based reactivity. After two months in the Board and Train program, Cai is able to sit still in one place (she paced continuously before) and actually relax and observe without running from everything. She is able to listen to us without having her anxiety take over. There’s so much more that comes with this; us being able to finally relax because she is finally able to, is such a relief. We no longer have to worry about her being reactive because we have tools now at our disposal to help her overcome the moment. Ally and Scott explained her behavior and took the time with us to explain the why and the how and I have nothing but great things to say about Blackheart. They are truly life savers.

In my candid assessment, I believe the program has effectively imparted new skills to my puppy that she did not possess prior to her training. She demonstrates proficiency in commands such as 'down' and 'stay', and displays an understanding that good behavior is requisite for mealtime, which is commendable. However, I perceive potential for further enrichment within the two-week timeframe. While the trainers have undoubtedly bolstered her existing knowledge, I contend that additional fundamental skills, such as leash walking and addressing nibbling tendencies, could have been introduced. These aspects, although potentially challenging given her age, are essential components of her development.Addressing the issue of nibbling, which I had raised with the trainer beforehand, has proven to be a persistent challenge. While recognizing it as a normal behavior for puppies, its escalation necessitated focused attention during her training. Furthermore, leash walking has posed considerable difficulty, with excessive pulling necessitating independent research on my part. My expectations were perhaps elevated given the program's pricing structure.Additionally, I found the communication throughout the duration of the program to be lacking. I consistently initiated contact to inquire about my puppy's progress, which heightened my apprehension considering her absence. Despite attempts to schedule follow-up meetings, my outreach has gone unanswered on multiple occasions. In summary, while acknowledging the evident dedication and passion of the trainers, I rate the program a 3 out of 5. There is clear room for improvement and refinement in various aspects of the program to better meet the needs and expectations of both pet owners and their companions.Despite the critical appraisal, it is important to note that while the training fell short of my expectations, it may align with the needs of other clientele. It is pertinent to mention that my puppy did not exhibit any significant behavioral concerns prior to enrollment, with issues such as nibbling being typical for her age cohort. Despite reservations, I intend to explore the adult program and have recommended the service to acquaintances grappling with different canine behavioral challenges.

I can’t say enough about how great Scott & Ally have been during the entire process of helping our Cane Corso Fendi. As Scott put it she had a bubble the size of Home Depot no one could enter without showing her fear based reactivity. With humans and dogs she did not want anyone close to her or us. Now her bubble is managed around 4 feet which is AMAZING. Scott said he could tell she didn’t want to be this way and we knew that as well. She needed the confidence to fully be able to exist in the world and not feel fear in every direction. During her turn over on a busy Saturday at Home Depot she walked past 100 people without any reaction which never would have been the case 6 weeks ago. You could tell she wasn’t scared and knew she was okay. She listed to her commands from Scott and my husband & I. If she got distracted (as dogs do) Scott showed us exactly how to correct her to adjust her focus back to us.I just can’t thank Scott & Ally enough for all of their help and communication to get our girl to a super manageable level & help build her confidence. The difference is night and day from just 6 weeks ago. Highly highly recommend them in any way!

I had such a wonderful experience with Blackheart K9. Ally and Scott were phenomenal with my at the time 13 week old Doberman Pinscher. They worked on his focus and duration with some of the basic commands and started to shape some more advanced ones.I was super impressed with them and the ground they were able to cover in only 2 weeks. I am in love with how much they love their craft and dogs. From pickup to drop-off, Scott and Ally dropped Gems to me about dog behavior and things I need to be prepared for with my pup. I loved also how they were able to give me an assessment of my puppy. They also made sure he was taken care of and saved his ears with their great care.Thank you to you both and Gent is excited for more training with you

I have so many great things to say about Blackheart K9 services. Scott, the owner, recommended Vanessa to start the training with our Cane Corso Ecco. I couldn’t be more thankful for all that Vanessa did for our dog. Ecco was very aggressive toward people, dogs, and cars. Now, he listens, and he looks more calm when there are people around him.Blackheart K9 Services are the best!!!! 100% recommended

Scott and Ally are amazing trainers! They worked with our blue heeler, and she is the BEST. It’s so relieving to be able to walk with her on the leash, have her not have aggressive behavior towards dogs or people, even being able to have her off leash and obey commands! Also, they’re great with their training process. I have a tendency to want to use a “firm” voice - Ally was able to get better results from our dog without having to raise her voice or use the “strict” voice. That was really eye-opening for me and a great lesson that dogs can obey without needing to cause trauma or additional bad behaviors!I would highly recommend using them to help correct behaviors!!!

We contacted Scott due to my dog who was a 9 month old German shepherd with severe anxiety. He didn't answer when I called but call me back to days later to see how her could help. He spent over an hour on the phone with my daughter band I getting background information on my dog. He asked relevant questions and offered insight just from our conversation. We decided to set up an appointment. He came to our home so he could see her interact in her environment. Kiray dog was comfortable with him right away which is unusual. She is usually fearful of people. He has a very commanding presence and the animals feel that. He knew about her breed and what kind of dog she was with even seeing her papers. He spent over 2 hours in our home and yard working with her just to see how bad she was. He gathered lots of information Nancy shared his insight on what we could do even if we didn't hire him. I was hesitant to do a board and train an she has previously attended one for basic commands. Her trainer was good and gave her a great foundation but she never addressed the anxiety. What was supposed to be 2 weeks turned into her having to come home and return. It was hard on all of us but especially kira. Scott was more expensive then I anticipated but we were sold. He explained that he could not "cure" her of her anxiety but he could make a big difference and make it manageable. He came to pick her up in a large van so she was comfortable for the long ride. Scott doesn't do training in his backyard. He takes the animals out into the community where they can be exposed to all kind of triggers and he can help them work through them. One thing I was against was the use of the e collar. Her previous trainer had a collar and twice when I gave her a correction she yelped and cowered in fear. I never used it after that. He explained the one he uses is a tens unit which I'm very familiar with and knows it does not hurt. I agreed to let him use it if he felt it was best. The program is a minimum of 3 weeks but he explained he keeps the dog until the work is done. She ended up staying a little over 4 weeks. We missed her terribly but it was well worth it! I even had to change our drop off day due to an emergency with my cat and he told me to take care of my cat and call him when I was ready. Kira came home a completely changes dog! She is no where near as fearful. On the turn over she had a situation where she became scared. It was a perfect opportunity because he showed us how to help her work through it. I was doing things all wrong and in reality making her anxiety worse. He spent 3 hours on the turn over sharing everything we needed to know. Showing us commands and making sure we knew what to do. He never rushed or got aggravated bat all our questions. Since she has been home it's been amazing. Not only do I have an amazingly behaved and trained dog but she is no longer a prisoner in her mind bound to fear. We know how to handle it and help her. She is doing great now. I had been to the vet asking about meds because I didn't know what do do. I'm so glad we hired him instead. She really loved Scott and it made me feel better when she couldn't be home with us she felt comfortable. He told us how to continue her training which we have done and will continue to do. I know this is a lifetime disorder for her and I want to make her life as happy as I can. Scott also offers lifetime assistance. If we have a problem we call him and he talks to us or will come out if needed. That is a great support to have. When she got home I tried the collar and I could not even feel it. I have only had to give her 2 corrections and she does not yelp and cower but it gets her attention. I'm glad we used it. We will continue her training and I know scott is a call away. He is not only a veteran but he has a gift with dog. He knows what he's doing. I can't say or thank him enough. 5 stars!

I know this is a very hard decision and a big investment. Rest assured Blackheart K9 is totally worth it. This is a safe place run by caring and knowledgeable people. They totally changed my dog in a month. He is more confident and happy. It was worth every penny.Zeus was doing fine until covid hit. By the time we returned to the baseball field, my dog who used to sit there quietly accepting rubs was now nearly taking the fence down he was tied to. Boy’s who used to pet him couldn’t get close to him. I didn’t take him back, it was that bad.Scott told me “Your dog is not aggressive, he is scared. There is a big difference. I will need to focus on desensitizing him”. If anyone came near me, the house, or the car we were in he would turn into Cujo. I am serious when I say my car looks like a bear had a field day in it. My mailman was sure he was going to break the window. No one could come over without me locking him away. Then he bit my cousin’s husband. Well, that was that. I knew I needed serious help. I’ve hired and spent a lot on trainers coming to my house. They just train you.I did a ton of research. I was looking for a person that trained either police dogs or military dogs and a place I could trust. I found a few and wow the prices were high and in speaking to them I just knew they weren’t right. Too many promises, not enough knowledge. You may feel a bit shocked at pricing, but Scott’s prices were on the lower end for a 3-5 week boarding/training.My first conversation with Scott, he was upfront about what to expect. It is not like your dog will never be scared again in its life. Scott is a goal oriented military man, with a passion for excellence. He obviously knows his trade having trained working dogs and over 1000+ pets. He’s even moving into training sheep herding dogs with real sheep! I knew he was the real deal. The unexpected bonus was his wife Ally. I started talking with her before pick up. She is sweet and kind and made me feel less nervous. An EMT from Australia who grew up on a cattle ranch. My fur baby was going to be in good hands. More proof is when she asked for an extra day and sent a picture of a baby cow. “We need to save this sweet baby cow who just lost its mother delivering it. ” Happy to report they were successful. I fell in love with both and better yet so did my dog. They sent videos, pics, and called. They hands down are honest and kind people you can trust. They pick up your dog in a very large professional van, with super secured cages. I won’t lie, it was one of the hardest things I have ever done. I just kept telling myself he was going off to K9 college. The first week is earning trust of the dog. He knows when a dog is ready to accept training and earns not wearing a muzzle if agressive. Once the dog is comfortable it’s go time. He works in a big yard teaching things like 'place' on a raised dog bed and 'break' (when they can get off). Then it is on like donkey kong. Visits to Cabellas, Home Depot, Lowes, and parks. When Scott feels your pup is ready he will set up meeting in a public place close to you. He spent 3 hours showing me what I have to do. My dog was in Home Depot with no muzzle and people walking by us without a problem. I was stunned. He jumped on shelves, piles of rocks when told to go to place and sat there. The change is night and day difference. I can tell he is so much happier with the world. I practice 'place' at home on a couch and make him sit there. I do this everyday so when visitors enter the house he will sit on that couch until less excited and given the break command. He now travels quietly in the car. I use the e-collar with one tap on low if it looks like he is triggered. I haven’t had to use it this week. One of things I really liked is Scott is there if you slack on training. He will come work with your dog if needed. There are few magical things in this world. Your mess of a dog coming home following commands and ok with the world is one of them.

We sent our one year old Aussie to board and train for two weeks with Katie. He was a happy dog that needed a few behavioral changes for his safety. During the (wonderfully detailed) hand off, I immediately noticed how comfortable my dog was with her, how he sought out her affection and she readily gave it. Katie spent the day with us making sure we understood how to train and how to correct/reward. Our dog is trained beyond our expectations, but importantly we’re confident he was treated well. He looked so happy in all the training photos and remains eager to learn at home. Katie is very talented with dogs—I highly recommend you send your fur companion to her.

To understand why 5 stars for Blackheart K9 is an absolute no brainier, best investment for your dog, you must first understand Lexi our 4 year old German Shepherd. We rescued Lexi when she was 6 months old & since the day we picked her up she has always struggled with anxiety and social issues. We put her in obedience training early on(not with black heartk9) which helped temporarily however we had to constantly tell people she was not a dog you pet. Since our home is on lots of land and we rarely encounter people , things seemed fine. All this time , un addressed anxiety led to worse and worse behavior including being unable to get our dog in the car, being kicked out of multiple vet offices bc our dog was too difficult to handle, increasing growling/nipping around others and even viscously attacking our other animals. My husband and I were nervous to keep her around with our little baby and were advised to have her put to sleep by several (non professional) people. We started to feel there was no other option.Enter Blackheart K9, Scott & Ally! From conversation #1 you could tell these people were compassionate about dogs, were knowledgeable and upfront/honest about what they could and could not do. Lexi was picked up at our home. Scott was patient from the start to try and let Lexi get comfortable so not to overly traumatize her. We got regular updates on her training throughout the process by both Scott and Ally. We were fully educated on each step in her training process, she got a lovely bath , nail trim and coat treatment before return and our dog got lots of love.Scott was able to get to the root of lexis anxiety and said she is not an aggressive dog but a misunderstood dog.(what we felt all along). Scott through irreplaceable knowledge and expertise helped Lexi gain confidence and tighten up obedience skills. We have seen firsthand our German Shepard go from ball of nerves and borderline aggression to confident/happy dog that we can take to the store and she is not traumatized by people around her and her tail is wagging. She loads in the car without any fuss and happily settles in for a ride.To Scott , we are so thankful for your service and compassion. Thank you for giving us hope and bringing our our happy and confident dog that is now at peace in our home. To anyone thinking you may be out of options or maybe should hold off, you will not regret doing this training and your dog will have greater quality of life because of it. Don't wait!

I am very pleased with the training that my dog, Lilah received at Blackheart K9. I initially chose Scott's program as he and I are both Army veterans and he is located nearby. He and his assistant, Katie came for an initial visit to my home. I was lucky that he was able to work Lilah into a training schedule within days. My 1 year old animal shelter mutt is the first dog I have ever had professionally trained. Katie was superb with Lilah over the following 2 weeks of training. There were frequent visits to Lowes and other stores to ensure the dog could function in high distraction environments. Scott sent me an update video of how well Lilah was doing. My dog also does better riding in a car now, which was a big issue I had with her. She did not have aggression issues but simply needed to learn the basics: sit, heel, down, place, break, come, and off.I commend Katie for being patient with me as I was not able to initially follow through with training my dog after I got her back. Due to some new responsibilities I let Lilah's training fall behind. (YOU MUST CONTINUE E-COLLAR TRAINING AFTER YOU GET YOUR DOG BACK). After a month I swallowed by pride and contacted her and told her what happened and that I felt uncertain about picking up the training again. She was very understanding and non-judgmental. She suggested we do the "hand-over" (instructions) again. So, we met back at Lowes and then concluded back at my home. She spent 3 hours with me making sure I understood everything! My dog loves Katie and I can tell that she treated her exceptionally well. I do make the suggestion that Scott and Katie put together a "cheat sheet" as the instructions during the "handover" are numerous. After those 3 hours I had already forgotten several of the commands. Scott and Katie are good about answering text messages and calls if you have questions but a take-home sheet would be excellent. If that isn't available, bring someone else with you to take notes.I will add, as it was a concern for me, is the use of e-collar training. I'm a vegan and the last thing I would ever want to do is hurt an animal. I understand the concerns of some regarding the use of these collars. I did extensive research and I understand the technology used in these newer collars is not the same as the old "shock collars." Katie proved it to me when she offered to have me put the collar probes in the palm of my own hand and press the button. This convinced me that these collars (when used correctly) will not hurt my dog. Not all e-collars are the same (again, do the research). The e-collars that Scott and Katie use are high quality, great tools and are included in the training cost. With consistent use and training, many dogs can be weened off the collar entirely. As with so many things in life, the degree to which your dog responds to you is dependent on how much time you are willing to devout to it's training.

What amazing trainers Ally and Scott are.I'm truly happy I made the decision to entrust them with my10 month old puppy, Cooper.I've had dogs all my life, prefer to rescue and all were 14 months+ As fate would have it, Cooper was 9 weeks old when I rescued her. She is a blend of several breeds, all being working and herding dogs. She's a very smart dog and knew how to "play me" I worked with Cooper for 8 months and she did well with me. However, I knew we had come as far as would could without professional help. After being with Ally & Scott, she's more disciplined, the barking is more appropriate, she has more self confidence, our walks are 100% better, easier to handle and we are having a great time together as a team. Not only did they train Cooper, they also spent a lot of time "training" me. Communication was good, always answered my text, questions, concerns and held my hand when missing Cooper. One more thing I greatly appreciate. As long as Cooper is with me, they will assist with questions, concerns and problems that come up in the future. This is part of their service after dogs leave their care.I appreciate its a very hard decision on several levels to entrust your dogs care to someone other than yourself. If I should ever get another dog.. It's Camp Blackheart it goes.

We sent both of our dogs for board and train. Allie went for puppy training and returned for her big girl training. Squirrel went for his big dog training after a bad experience with another trainer as a puppy. Scott was patient and worked with both dogs. Squirrel is now happy and can be taken out in public. We can also walk him on leash without being pulled where he wants to go. Allie is still a puppy but is very smart and knows her commands. Since returning from her big girl training, we've noticed a big difference in her consistency with obeying commands.

Where can I start… Our beautiful Queen came to our life with so many things in her bag. separation anxiety, fear-based aggression , dog selective behavior. She doesn’t like cats or kids or any other people besides her former owner, my husband and I. We relocated from New York a couple of months ago and we were so fortunate to find Blackheart K9. Scott, the owner, was very honest in his evaluation of our dog and he recommended Vanessa to start the training with Queen. Queen spent 3 weeks away with Vanessa and she came like a whole different dog. She now listens to us and she is more confident. Also, before, we couldn’t find a boarding place who was willing to take care of Queen because of her anxiety and Vanessa made our life easier, since she also offered us to board Queen. We recommend Vanessa 100% as a trainer!!!

My 4 month old Scottish terrier returned home a few weeks ago spending time with Blackheart K9 Services LLC. Where does one begin to write a review! Going through the puppy stage, I couldn't not control her and she was destroying things around the house. The transformation that took place in my Millie in such a short amount of time is mind blowing. With practice my puppy is still doing all the commands she was trained with like sit, come, place, and down. Using these commands properly with my puppy has been some of the best tools invented for her behavior. I know I can contact them if needed and will be there to answer any questions or guide me in the right direction. I plan on bringing my puppy back for advance training. If you are ever contemplating obedience training for your dog, I would highly recommend Scott and his team for any kind of training.

Blackheart K9 Services are the absolute best!!!This pup you see in the picture was previously attacked by a mis-handled pitbull. He was fearful and defensive. The vet said they had no suggestions because they didn’t think there was anything a person could even do about it.I am SO happy to report that the vet was wrong. The Blackheart K9 team saved our pup’s happiness! After a board and train with Scott and team, he is doing amazingly. Here he is hanging out with us outside at a mall, plenty of dogs, people, and noise. And he is chill and at ease.We couldn’t be happier with the simply miraculous work they did with Nanook. Blackheart, thank you so much!!!

My Baloo 🐩 was a sweet dog, but had protective issues that made him a little bit aggressive. It was tough saying bye to him for seven weeks, but I got him back and he is so well behaved and so incredibly smart and able to be trained and controlled. he is happy, healthy, and Scott took incredible care of him while he was gone. The transition from what Scott told him to me was seamless, which was one of the things I was more worried about. So far everything is wonderful. I’m excited to see how much better he gets as this time continues with me. Strongly recommend black heart canine.

Harrison is a happy 2 yr old lab with LOTS of energy and very vocal. We were unable to take Harrison anywhere due to his energy level. We loved his personality, but the energy was off the charts. After 2 weeks with Scott, Harrison is more focused and obedient without sacrificing his personality. He only barks when told to and does not pull when we walk him.Scott is remarkably knowledgeable about dogs and dog training. We learned that most of what we were told and have seen concerning dogs, are totally opposite of what is needed to help our dog to be obedient, purposeful and appreciated. It would be awesome for Scott and his team to have seminars/classes on how dog owners can better understand their dog. If you need a dog trainer, look no further!!!!

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about everybody at Blackheart K9. They went above and beyond for my pup and kept me informed of her progress throughout the whole time she was away. They made sure I was comfortable with everything before they left after her drop off back to me. They were thorough and went the extra mile for my girl with constantly challenging her to get the most of her training. I cannot recommend them enough to help train your puppy or dog in any needs. They are also super knowledgeable about dogs and willing to share their knowledge to help other dog owners be their best. Great experience!

Vanessa was great with our dog Camo with is anxiety/aggression issues. She kept us up to date while he was with her and did a great job with going over what to do when we have visitors. She was great on giving us advice on Camo’s issues and best way to deal with them.

Having a large breed dog is a great responsibility. Even at the puppy stage, we had our hands full. Scott was very patient and thorough with Bear’s training. He takes the time not only with the dog but with the owner’s as well. After training, Bear is like a new dog. He will have his moments, but now we know how to safely control our dog. Knowing Blackheart K9 services will be there for us when we need a place to board him, brush up on training or just a professional that we can ask for advice is priceless. Stephen and I highly recommend them!

We had a wonderful experience with our dog, Biscuit! Vanessa was incredible and the best trainer we could have ever asked for. Biscuit came home fully e-collar trained, and keeping up his training has been a breeze with Vanessa’s helpful in-person instructions. I highly recommend Vanessa and this company.

Scott was absolutely wonderful with my 12 week old mini aussie puppy in the Puppy Training Program! I am a first time dog owner and wanted to give my puppy the best possible chance to be a well behaved dog. However, I was hesitant to send my new baby away to training. However, Scott put my mind completely at ease. He and I had multiple extremely long and detailed phone conversations before coming to pick up Rudy to answer all of my questions and help put me at ease, and also to help me understand what I needed to do as an owner to help set my puppy up for success. When he came to pick him up he immediately got down in the floor and bonded with Rudy. You could really see his love for dogs.Throughout the course of Rudy being gone - Scott kept us informed of what all Rudy was working on and tips on how to continue the training at home. Rudy always looked extremely happy and well cared for in the videos and photos. We just had our turnover and you could tell instantly that Rudy LOVES Scott and that he was happy and wanting to be by Scott’s side. Scott spent a lot of time during the turnover showing us how to keep up what Rudy has learned at home, and also answered a plethora of questions we had. He has spent a great deal of time helping us navigate life as first time dog owners and never made us feel like we were bothering him. He even reiterated multiple times that he is always here for us and always willing to help. Not to mention it is AMAZING what all Rudy has learned and can do!! So many habits we weren’t fans of have been broken, and Rudy is already on track to be a wonderful, obedient companion. We would do it all over again and recommend the puppy training to anyone who wants to get their puppy started off on the right foot. Rudy is now well ahead of other puppies his age in many aspects, and it is all thanks to this training. We can’t wait to send Rudy back for his Big Dog training in the future, and couldn’t imagine sending him anywhere besides Scott!

We have a x-large puppy (seven months/100 lbs.) that needed the basics taught. Scott and Katie had him for three weeks and did a great job. Their insight in to our "Eeyore" (Scott & Katie's name for him) was spot on. He did try and bully us when he returned and knowing that going in made a grand difference. We have called Katie multiple times for direction and guidance with good results, btw, she took our call the first time we tried her. They truly have the long term interest in our boy and already have him tentatively booked for his 10 month transition.
