when i tell y'all the cavespring vet hospital is the BEST place to take your pets.we took both of our cats there to get their shots and to get spayed and DUDE both of them came home happy, healthy, not skiddish, and acting like they never went anywhere! ( so happy to the point it stressed me out bc they're not supposed to be so active for 10 days lmao )Twinkletoes ( of course it's the orange tabby ) is the friendly people lover one so i can't say much bUT louise? she is super apprehensive and avoidant yet she does super well there and after, which amazes methey also are always there for you when you have questions and will gladly follow up with you in person to ease your mind!i will die on this hillif you want great care for your petgo there

Dr. Katie Mitchell and staff were AWESOME, will definitely be returning and forming a relationship with practice. Our golden stopped eating right before holiday's, called day after Christmas and they got us right in the very next morning. We are also new patients at this point and they never hesitated to see our fur baby. After a full exam he had swallowed some sort of ball (appears to be inside of golf ball 🤦‍♀️). Of course we were on board for whatever to make our boy better, they did surgery within hours after exam and removed the ball. We were kepted updated up until we picked him up, everybody was so kind, nice and helpful. THANK YOU ALL again, the experience definitely made an impact on us and was greatly appreciated.

I fully understand that Vet offices are busy, especially on Saturdays. We have a 17 year old cat that has had ongoing medical conditions. He recently took a turn for the worse. He was started on antibiotics and appetite suppressant. Despite all of this he took a rapid turn Friday night. He was suffering, his baseline was poor, it was time to make the decision to have him humanely given comfort. As my, as most, are closed on Saturdays, I called Cave Spring Animal hospital. We have been here a few times. The lack of compassion given when we called was sad. We are busy you will just have to call around. He was suffering. The procedure to help remove his suffering takes 2 minutes. Having worked 7 years for a vet, I am very disappointed. Emergencies come first. Trauma first, suffering next. Thank God for the EMergency Vet in Rome that is open on weekends. Very kind, caring and professional 5 stars.

We took our old boy Bennie to the vet to Multiple issues... He recently went blind.. so that's been challenging in its own. My boy is very old. The doctor was very thorough and so gentle with my boy. She took her time to explain things to us and go over every detail. My boy has been diagnosed with dementia, unfortunately. However, we have answers now. The staff was very sweet and EVERYONE showed empathy. You can definitely tell that they care. I couldn't be happier ☺️. Thank you for taking such good care of my babyOh and to add... the scans, xrays, meds would have cost a fortune at my old vet. The price was amazing. Also only a few minutes from where we live. This will be our new doctor for our bennie boy!

The entire team was great. Came in on Saturday they cared for my boo even after the office was closed and made it seem as they were never gonna close for the day. Cant say enough about the great care they have for my rottweiler. Down to earth and took tje time to explain what we did not understand. Thanx yall!!

We took our sweet puppy to Cave Spring Animal hospital after he had been run over. They took us in immediately and checked him out thoroughly. They were very gentle and caring. Our sweet puppy is doing great! We appreciate everyone at Cave Spring Animal Hospital.

We recently changed to Cave Spring Animal Hospital for our older pets. I took Mojo for his annual checkup and shots. He was treated well and gently. Dr. Mitchell recommended only the shots he needed as well as giving me some good advice on how to take care of some itchy spots on his feet. We're very happy with his care.

Even though took the long way (unintended)to get there was a pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and Dr. Todd even was so kind as to give me directions back to town. Plus they only changed me the office visit which was very reasonable just wish wasn't so far from me but definitely worth the trip.I trust them with my babies as I have had many bad experiences with a number of vets in my local area of Rome. Misdiagnosis to incomplete exams to having a cat with a medical emergency have to wait an hour because we were a walk in. But yes definitely a very satisfying experience.

I want to thank the entire staff. They helped me when I was having a very bad day. My little dog was very sick and needed immediate care. The went straight to work and helped me make it through the situation. My dog had to be euthanized and they were so gentle with her. God bless you all.

My little Foxy is very skiddish due to being hurt at a young age. She bites. They handle her so well and she really likes them. I now know she was overdosed on insulin. My cat Freckles they said had slight kidney failure(she did not) and her hair was matted that's was why she was pulling it out. In reality she had throat cancer but her kidneys were fine. She was in so much pain. She died one month after Foxy died on the back seat of my car on our way home from the Vet. 14 months later I still cry every day.

My dog was ran over this morning by a truck. I called the vet and they said bring him right over. Scott carried my dog from my truck into the office where x-rays revealed he had a broken vertebrae just above his tail. I just want people to know the staff at that office are very competent and compassionate realizing how important our pets are to us. I highly recommend their office.

So happy we chose to take our sweet pup here, after moving to this area we knew we would have to find her a new veterinarian, we were anxious because she was so use to her old vet. She was calm for the entire visit and very comfortable with the professionals there! They were very caring, and took plenty of time with us. Highly recommend Cave Springs Animal Hospital

Peanut and I were some of the very first customers. Peanut loved the entire staff and they loved her. Nothing was ever too small for them to do including just looking at her and easing my fears and concerns. Peanut passed a few weeks ago and in her last days i spoke to Kelly several times about "P" and she never once said she was to busy or that I was bothering her. The staff helped me as much as they did my little girl. I could write an essay on the good qualities of this office. I highly recommend them. My best friend and her son use them for Sam (who is a handful) and her mom uses them for her cats. I am deeply grateful for the care they give and love each staff member for the kindness and compassion they show.

I'd rather drive to centre Alabama to Nichols Animal Hospital for anything animal related. Almost lost our dog because of someone at cave spring not paying attention or listening to what was told to them. Nichols is more interested in your animals welfare than I've seen from here.

A great place to take your pet! Very caring Doctor, staff. Our Maltese was very ill we were not sure if she was going to make it. Because of the care, concern and knowledge of the doctor she is now thriving and doing great! His staff kept in contact on her progress. It has been a little over a month now and we are still keeping in contact with Doctor and staff. Thanks to all of you!!!!!!!

This is ABSOLUTELY THE BEST VET hospital ever. Dr todd and all of his staff are absolutely amazing and actually care for your animals and love them just as much as you do. They make sure you are informed and know exactly what is going on and make sure you understand and actually take the time to explain everything. They dont rush and take the time and they dont act like they are just after your money. TheyACTUALLY CARE. They have compassion. They are VERY VERY loving and make sure that your babies are comfortable. I am very grateful for them and I will always go here and take all my animals. Thank you guys so much for showing my baby peanut that yall actually care. And another thing...peanut gets very stressed at the vet. BUT he is NEVER stressed when i take him here. Thank you so much. My lil buddy Had a stroke and the Dr. diagnose it without all the expensive test to make sure. I took his opinion and he was right on the money He is still on the inexpensive meds. he suggested. And now made about a month and a half my dog has almost fully recovered . I see improvement every few days . All I can say is Thank you and I would recommend this vet. Clinic to any one
