Non of the counter were open. At 9pm. They had 8 people working at self check out. They could put 2 or 3 people at cash registers. Make it easy for people. They are gating more and more greedy.

If you're a nursing mama just nurse in your car. The mother's room is always occupied by employees. I've gone in a handful of times and waited till the person occupying came out. It's always an employee with no bag or cooler ( so they aren't pumping) the family restroom seems to be used for an employee break room as well. So if you have littles you don't want to send into the men's room alone the family room is a no go.I've also noticed that when I do a pickup order they claim items are out of stock but twice I've gone in and the items were in. It's super annoying. Fortunately the Dalton Walmart is just as close for me so I won't be going to this one.

It was 3 days until Christmas, the store was packed and only 2 registers were open. The manager held up one of the lines to price a case of water. The wait was already horrendous, another register opened, the lady with the water pointed it out to me. As I reached the register, the clerk walked away. I left a cart worth $300 and don't plan on returning to Walmart. Making that much money off of people should afford adequate staffing.

This Walmart location is wonderful! Every team member I have an interaction with is friendly and helpful. Really impressed by how well all the team members know their way around the store, they know where to send you when looking for anything.

Depending on when you go and what time they will either be somewhat decently stocked or out of many things. Yes you can substitute sizes or brands but if you're on a budget, it can be difficult. Still, Walmart is the cheapest on most items.

Very nice Walmart Store with a nice selection of Christmas pajamas and other items. The parking lot is very tricky getting in and out though. Staff was very friendly and ready to assist us with our purchases.

You guys have a real Hero in the electronics department, Austin is a young outstanding gentleman that helped me put my 75 inch TV in the back of my SUV. Offered to walk me to the front offered to help me. I even offered him a tip and he didn’t accept it. he said he wouldn’t be able to accept the tip, which is commendable, especially in this day and age that young man needs to be appreciated. I hope he is.

I applied for a pharmacy sales position because I have experience with register and sales. I have been trying to talk to someone from human resources but nobody picks up the phone. I understand that right now times are busy but u need to make time to answer people's calls. Especially if they are trying to get a job. This is ridiculous!!!

Update: since this review I haven't shopped at Walmart even once and even switched my prescriptions and I'm much happier not setting foot in a store where idiots make stupid rules, there are several grocery stores and other stores right here in Calhoun that carry everything they do and more, I encourage others to check your shopping options because they don't care about you at all at this Walmart!! - I was in line buying groceries and wine and the girl insisted that she needed both mine and the person with me ID, and then I was told by another girl that is their policy, since when can an adult over 21 not buy alcohol without someone else's ID? If I was with my 20 year old kid then I couldn't have gotten it? It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever been thru and customer service is also a joke. They probably don't care but I will never shop there again!

I mostly use the delivery service and i'm usually pleased with that. Sadly, Wal-Mart replaced many PEOPLE'S JOBS when they changed to self check-out. Now they expect FREE LABOR FROM CUSTOMERS?? I'm just hoping for the day they have some COMPETITION in our town.

Totally offensive to struggle with self checkout and then have the so called greeter practically chases me to door passing other thieves whom also purchased their items to see my receipt in hand and throw hands in air saying not Merry Christmas sorry for your wait ......But to proceed to bellow your not going to show me your recicpt.......What a shame for a retail business that affects small time friendly family feeling,THIS act of derespect to it's patrons should not be allowed..... I would rate - 10......THANK YOU FOR ASKING

Horrible! Worst walmart ever. Only self checkout, cannot get anything correct with pick up orders and over charged me by $200 when there was a register. Had $400 worth of stuff and they refused to check us out said they only had self check out. Do not shop here! They also hire people that do not have legal status

They need to be better at checking out. Dalton's Walmart on Walnut I am NEVER in line longer than a minute. Maybe it isn't the stores fault, it's the people. Ha rednecks.

Walmart in Calhoun is the worse about not having electric carts for the Handicapped.I can only shop if I have a Handicapped cart and they only have a few.I have to search for one myself although I can barely walk.I have to watch the other Handicapped customers and get thier as they finish.Please Walmart consider the Handicapped customers.Faye Parker, Adairsville, Georgia

The worst local Walmart I will drive 20 + minutes to another one anytime to avoid this one always over crowded and a disaster They also don’t honor Walmarts return policy they’ve made their own and will refuse you a return and even told me they don’t do exchanges well Walmarts website says otherwise seriously ridiculous.

I just wanted to warn anyone looking for an ugly Christmas sweater for a party. This sweater will ring up as “restricted” and they will not let you buy it. The employees will also not take any of them off the floor. They are leaving it up for sale just to disappoint you when you reach checkout. It is only a sweater and not a big deal but just to also save the employees from being yelled at.

Really upset. Needed a new desk for my home office. Went to Walmart in hopes of finding one. Went thru the office aisle and found a L shaped desk that I fell in love with and it was marked for $45, even better! (There were two of them that were stacked up on top of each other on the shelf by the way). Price tag was right below them that read $45. I went to self checkout and it rang up $170. I told the cashier that it was marked wrong, he followed me to where they were, took a picture and said that he would ask his manager what to do. He came back and said that the manager can’t honor the price but would give me 10% off, seriously? If your employees have it marked at that price and a customer gets it, you should honor the price. That’s false advertisement, and wasn’t my fault so why was I punished for what your store done? Smh

All Walmarts are the same, relatively. This one is no different. We have a health clinic, but that didn’t make it any more appealing to me. In a small town, avoiding people is a common practice. You don’t want to see them at Walmart, and you definitely don’t want to see them at Walmart when you are sick and looking your worst. There is also the nightmare parking lot, which seems to be the worst one in the country. The fact that we are required to check ourselves out and then face the possibility of arrest when we make a mistake, or wait 3 hours for the only lane with a cashier. The only good thing about Walmart is the selection of items for every need.

Prices are too high now. The self checkout is a joke, if you need help finding something, nobody there knows where it's at, and a very very very few that's friendly.
