I was very impressed with my visit, I haven’t been to this dollar general in a long time. I recently changed jobs and it’s on my way home now, well I stopped in to pick up a few things and to my surprise the store looked amazing! (Most stores I’ve been in can be a hot mess) I just wanted to brag about how great this one looked. Shelves were full, items were straight, and isles were free of clutter and rolltainers. With this being a smaller store this says a lot! I know how hard it is with limited space. :)

It's 10:22 am on Sunday Nov 12th and this is the worst DG I've ever been in. Stuff sitting in the isles, limited items on shelves and the girl at the register acted like I was bothering her playing on her phone when I went to check out. She made the comment that she wish people would go elsewhere. So thankfully I have it recorded and will be posting it on social media. DG in Calhoun is going down hill

I had purchased a pack of Energizer AA batteries that contained 4 batteries. And after replacing the old with the new the device would not even power up the display..put the old ones back in and it's works ..So took the batteries back today and was told since I had opened the package there was nothing they could do.. I'm extremely disappointed and considering Family dollar...I only wanted to swap them out not get a refund..

Won't service at a dollar general I have ever recieved. When I walked up, no one was in line besides the customers at the self checkout, I went to register 1 with my drinks and waited for about 5 minutes, when she walked up she asked me what I was doing, I told her I was waiting. She said "I should of made you jump in line" I politely told her there was no line at the time. Then she rung up what I had, (what I had was 2 12 for 3 "deals") when she rung up what I had it came to 31.26, using math after tax shouldn't of cost more then $28 after tax. So we told her that wasn't as advertised, she said well "that's how it rung up, do you want them or not" I said "well, not if it's not as advertised". Again worst service at a dg I have ever experienced, will not be going backNote: The lady identified herself as the manager.

I really hate to inconvenience a person for having them do their job. Whoever this place has running the register today is in serious need of lessons in customer service. It's really sad when you ask for your receipt for the things you just paid for and she acts like it is a crime. She acted like it was wrong for me to ask for my receipt and when she tries to get it from the printer she drops it and several more and looked at me like it was my fault. I shop this location very often but I don't think I will any more.

Why is it at 51 years old I can't buy cigarettes without my ID? Why does each employee have a different reason as to why I need ID? Don't worry the employees didn't sell them to me I took my business elsewhere

I really hate to say this about this store becouse I have been going to it for a while but the service is probably about the worst service than you can get. There will be 20 people in line and only one cashier. The cashier wont even call for help but just let customers stand in line for 45 minutes. The fact that the cashiers shar thier entire life story with every customer doesnt help . it is easy to see the frustration on the other customers faces . as for me this makes about 5 times I have put my items back and walked out of the store. I will never shop here at this location again. It is worth the drive to another location.

The shelves were in the process of being stocked but neat and clean in the store. The employees were friendly and and patient because I had to transfer a few dollars from account to another. Always a decent trip to this DG.

Always a pleasant experience! Thanks for all your hard work to all essential workers at this location. It has got to be the busiest store in our area, and tall are always considerate and helpful! We liove our neighborhood DG! Who says a dollar won't buy much anymore everyday is dollar day at The Dollar General Store!

I love the convenient way there's one of these stores around every area of town. They are small enough to make quick stops for one or two items fast. Or then they carry nearly everything you need too docour housework.There is always something else really cool on sale you forgot you needed till you saw it. I wish they would consider flipping all the stores to have the mini markets. The stores with fresh fruits and vegetables and more food choices. Most of the areas these stores are in need that kinda stuff too.

I always hate the crowd that hangs out at this store. Probably just the demographics. Bargains are plentiful. But sometimes lack quality. Close to home is why I go there. I don't feel like driving all over town just for a few items. They stock the basics ,paper goods, laundry needs, general merchandise. Just be very weary of the shady customers. Also Lock Your Vehicle doors. Sometimes There are vagrants that hang out front asking for money and cigarettes. All in all a basic place to get basic needs. Fast in fast out.

First off it’s a dollar general it’s got the basic dollar general amenities that’s not my complaint. What my complaint is, there is literally no space to walk around every was just placed there with no care at all it’s so cramped and claustrophobic and isles are like two a feet apart and have no space for carts to go through.

Ok... Started out great then @ the notorious checkout everything all rang up and paid for. 1 of the Eshop cards I just bought didn't take and charges me away. So run card again post give money back and pay for it a second time. 2 days went by and nothing back into my bank so go up there and talk with few people. Nevertheless money back and thanks 2 all the folk that helped me out. Mr. Steve and sweet lady that's the assistant manager. sorry 4got ur name darlin

The storm was covered in so much Freight that needed to be shelved you could not navigate thru store . they need to hire some people or let more people work instead of sitting on the money. Think of the customer. Short lady w/ paisley blue mask was just awesome. Lady behind counter couldnt even tell me if Cokes were on saleCokes are you serious. She said go read their sale paper. I believe ahe should do exactly that!

It's a typical Dollar General. They do have a $1.00 section which includes everything from ibuprofen to hand soap. Most items are reasonably priced and they have a pretty good selection of nail polish as well as some good deals on other cosmetic items.

They need to start all over with this place. They need bigger aisles. Only one person can go down the aisle at a time. You have to wait your turn to go down an aisle. It doesn't help a van went through the front of the store either.

They Never ever have Anything stocked! And I spend 30 mins or more.standing in line.cant get through the Isles for the stuff.that should be stocked on the shelves.its ridiculous...

Great place to go get something fast but there always seems to be a long line and shortness of staff. Not sure why that is.....
