Southwind is a fantastic place to go as a hunter or guest like me. I typically do not enjoy hunting lodges, but Southwind exceeded my expectations, and I will forever be ruined, lol.Southwind has breathtaking views, incredible food, and a top-notch wine and liquor selection. You can even get a massage while the boys are away hunting.The staff and family at Southwind are beyond welcoming and helpful. They truly appreciate and value your business, and you will know that from the second you arrive until you leave.

What a wonderful place to get away to, yet feel right at home. This is our 5th year coming to hunt here and I must say it keeps getting better. The staff is incredible, they really want everyone to have a great time while visiting! The food is so tasty, they go all out for lunch and dinner! The dogs, the guides and all the activities make it fun for the whole family. If it's for a week or for a weekend, Southwind is worth a trip. Women friendly!!!🌸

I cannot say enough about how great the experience was at Southwind Plantation with Derry as our guide. I brought my son who had never been quail/pheasant hunting along with my dad who hadn't been in 35+ years. Derry as the guide along with the entire staff and atmosphere made our experience a lifetime event that we will always cherish. They do an exceptional job of walking the fine line between extremely nice and pretentious I would feel comfortable recommending this to anyone looking for a relaxed atmosphere, incredibly well trained dogs, and a lot of shots.

My son went to the summer camp at Southwind Plantation. June of 2023. He had an amazing time. It was run well. No hassles. He loved it. Absolutely loved it. I felt very comfortable with the whole process and people who work there. Beverly was fantastic! If he has anything to say about it, he'll be back.

Southern Hospitality at it's best from start to finish.....We've visited a few times, had our GSP training with Patrick when he was a puppy and always enjoyed the Smith Family making us feel welcome. Skylar, Josie and Ryals always make sure you have a great time, comfortable accommodations and memorable hunts. Go check Southwind out as you won't be disappointed, plus the new pro shop is stocked with all the gear and guns needed for a successful hunt.
