Never did I think I would be leaving a negative review for one of my favorite Publix locations but here we are. Actually, the review is not for the store itself but rather an employee. Daryl, the bakery manager, has a condescending non-customer service attitude when faced with reasonable customer requests.Knowing that I would be taking multiple items from the display table, and having them in my possession for a couple of hours, I asked if I could instead have the 10 containers of cupcakes and two containers of chocolate covered strawberries from the freezer.He said that no it would not be possible and that I should have placed my order ahead of time. I explained our situation as being one whereas the original person making the purchase had been hospitalized and I was stepping in as a volunteer to make sure that a 70+ person event went off without a hitch.I also explained that the temperature outside may not mesh well with the items in the vehicle for the amount of time. He said "They will be fine, it's an overcast day. And next time maybe the person should plan for emergencies."To diffuse my frustration I made a joke about knowing the future and instead buying lottery tickets instead of planning for a cupcake emergency. He laughed and turn back to what he was doing. However He began to look at me and become frustrated as he watched me clean the table of all buttercream cupcakes, and several other dessert items. No doubt frustrated because now it required refilling. Something that could have been avoided by granting my original request.I must add I don't feel entitled and respect his managerial decision however part of being a manager is making customer service oriented decisions on the spot and this is just not a time whereas I felt Daryl exemplified that trait of a manager.Furthermore it is now less than an hour later and I just checked the cupcakes, chocolate covered strawberries, cannolis and brownies that have already begun to melt. Therefore Daryl was unfortunately incorrect in his assumption that the overcast day would protect them.However I would like to end this review with a positive experience in the store. Tracy Ann, who was the cashier that checked me out, was very friendly, and even took the extra time to double bag and knot the bags so that the items would not shift around much.Her pleasant demeanor, The cleanliness and organization of the store, and ability to find the items that I needed quickly is why this review receives three stars and not one.

Nice clean Publix grocery in a very busy strip mall in a very busy area. There are other malls in this area.The Publix is typical Publix, lots of produce, good deli and bakery, and a pharmacy, plus the usual grocery items. I always shop at Publix and have been a loyal customer for many years. They seem to have a knack for finding very courteous and helpful employees. Prices are not the lowest, but there are usually sales items or buy one get one free.Good place to buy groceries or pick up something good from deli or bakery.

We spilled a whole tray of wraps on the way to the car and they remade them all for us. Amazing customer service. Won't be getting catering trays anywhere else.

Please don’t ever visit Publix at Briarcliff Village and expect to receive good customer service from the customer service desk. Unless an older white gentleman named Scott is working your experience will not be pleasant. You will be greeted with an attitude even after you say good morning, it’s almost as if they come to work to talk to each other, then when actually having to work is required the attitude comes out. This Publix location should send secret shoppers from corporate and then they would see exactly what I’m talking about. If leaving no stars was an option I would have done so.

Most Publix’s run like a top. This one does not. One cashier was complaining loudly to the other one about work grievances. After that I had to bag my own groceries. Never had that happen at a Publix before. That being said, all employees were friendly to me. I would not leave any valuables in your car at this location.

Worst Publix’s I’ve ever been to. The Deli gets so swamped and the workers don’t communicate so they end up ignoring guest, and let’s not get started on how when we checked out our cashier Naomi was to busy with a phone call on her cellphone to even talk to us. You’d be better off at any other Publix’s

Smaller store, atmosphere is kinda weird, people aren't friendly at all, just robotic.Todays visit resulted in very poor customer service, the cashier held up the line trying to figure out the cost of a bag of almonds.One guy opened a register next to where we were and took all the customers behind me, WOW !! I'm just waiting, I decided to remove myself from the situation, and not return.Try servicing a your customers that's why you work at Publix.

Disappointed in the deli. They ran out of bread before 7 pm and we had to piecemeal a whole sub together from different scraps. Then they wouldn't cut the turkey thin as requested. You're better than this.

They always have what I'm looking for. Kroger is right across the street, but I prefer the ambiance and vibe of Publix. Plus, when you learn how to maneuver the sales, you rack up in savings.

This is by far the best Publix I've been to in Atlanta, and I drive 20 minutes to shop here vs another location much closer to home.It's all because of the product selection plus exceptional customer service. First of all, they carry my favorite pimento cheese by Callie's Hot Biscuits. I've been a big fan of Callie's Hot Biscuits ever since a visit to the original location in Charleston - tried to visit the location here in Virginia Highland a few times, but their hours are so limited that it's been challenging trying to get there when they're open, and I don't want to pay an arm and leg for shipping. They said they started selling frozen biscuits and tubs of pimento cheese at Publix stores, but nobody in the metro Atlanta area seems to have the cheese. Except for this location!!And when I got to the store, manager Abdalla was so incredibly kind in helping me find the product, and not only that, when he heard that I'd driven quite a distance to buy it, he took the time to look the product up in the system to see if he can find it at a store closer to me. And when the system confirmed that none are available, he took time to give me the info that would help me talk to the teams at locations near me, sharing that stores can make special orders on my behalf as long as the product is in the system even if not at that specific location.It's a small luxury to be able to enjoy this cheese, but I really appreciated his philosophy to value every customer and make sure they have what they are looking for, even if it's not dollars directly to his store. That is selfless, and an amazing customer focused approach!!Thanks again and you guys definitely have a hold on my business!!!

I love Publix from their great customer service, clean store, fresh fruit and delicious subs. This is a great location they always have items in stock and the employees are willing to help.They even have a deli with some of the best subs OMG their subs are so good. And their chicken is so crunchy and seasoned so well.I will say their fresh cut fruit can be a little better when it comes to being sweet. For instance the pineapples taste bitter and the strawberries too.No matter when you come shopping here there will always be sale like the Buy 1, Get 1 Free on certain brands. Publix is kind of pricey but their products are so worth it.On Wednesdays all of the Sushi is $5. Just don’t wait till the end of the day to get some because it will be picked over or all gone. If you know how much their sushi is then you know this is a good deal.Due to the pandemic their store hours have changed temporarily.They’re located in a shopping plaza with TJ Maxx and Party City. Their is plenty of parking but parking can get kind of hectic sometimes because the shopping area is busy all the time.

Normal visit. Most items needed were found. Still some supply chain issues in the meat section. Selection there was very limited. Also, there were no Nathan's frozen fries. Had to visit three stores to find them, one Kroger and two different Publix stores. None at either. Finally found them at a Walmart. Also, this Publix was out of the Publix beef hot dogs. I was planning a chili cheese weekend for my grandson, and on the rare occasion that we have a hot dog, I like that brand and Nathan's. My grandson has never been to a Nathan's restaurant, or had their fries, so I had hoped to have him try them. Normally, we just make delicious homemade. Anyway, the store was fine.

I called to inquire about publix brand of dog treats and the girl who answered in customer service was so kind and she kindly walked back to see if they were available, that meant volumes to me because my dog will only eat that particular treat.

This Publix by far is theeeee worse one probably in the state of GA. They never have things stocked in the pre made cold section . Options are very limited. So for those of us who liked stopping in grabbing something that’s already made for dinner to warm up then skip this Publix. Ohhh and the bakery , I walked up to place a cake order the 2 ladies over there acted as if they didn’t see me . No ‘I’ll be right with you’ or anything just rude and unprofessional. I called today to place a cake order and they told me they weren’t taking any new orders and was booked up until next Wednesday ( today is only Friday btw ). This Publix is closest to my house and I pass it otw home but I’ll pass this one to go to the next one. Complete waste of time and energy!!!! I’ve posted a pic of the buzz light year cake they did for my son a week ago after they told me they didn’t have the buzz props to do the cake. I told the lady well y’all are advertising the cake, as it was a display out front. She looked at me dumbfounded and then went to get the pad to take my order. I’m really over the unpleasant customer service at this point. This Publix is worse than Walmart customer service

I’m giving 3 stars for the assistant store manager’s professionalism. The deli here is horrible. I ordered a sub two days in a row, listed exactly how I wanted the sub made, and both days it’s wrong. I go and get a 20 piece chicken wing box, get home, and it’s only 16 wings in the box. Like y’all come on. Please get it together.

Do not expect your deli online orders to be ready at the time scheduled or even 30 minutes later than the scheduled time. Check your orders as items will usually be missing. 2 stars for the subs being good once you eventually obtain them. The rest of the store is a good usual Publix experience.3 orders in a row late and or missing items

Deli sandwich makers work at a snails pace. I literally timed her for an hour (that’s how long I was in a line of 4 people) and she made 2 sandwiches. How is 30 mins per sandwich acceptable to management?? Please answer me that Publix…

On July 13, 2023, i purchased organic blueberries, at what i thought was 4.31, but when i arrived home i looked over my receipt and realized that I was over charged.I decided to bring the product back to get a corrected price.In addition, when i arrived, i decided to save the cashier some steps by going to the produce area and take a picture of the corrected tag price.I showed the cashier my receipt and the picture that i had just took, thinking im doing her a service, much to my shock and dismay, this cashier, named Naomi, accused me of taking that scan price from a different store. I explained to her that i had just took that picture from the publix produce area, in the back in produce not from a different store. This cashier decided to continue to accuse me of bringing in a scan picture from a different store, until i got fed up and requested to speak with a manager.She called the assistant manager, and then when he arrived she told him that picture of my price scan was from a different store not publix. to add insult to injury, this assistant manager doesn't say anything to naomi about her rude, crude, and discurteous behavior. He just said oh it's ours, just give her a refund. Needless to say, both lacked interpersonal skills in dealing with customers. He never introduced himself, nor apologized for her behavior. After i got out of line, this same cashier called another cashier over and said i was stealing the blueberries. Now, is not your policy, if the price scans incorrectly, the customer gets a refund and the product. I shop in this store regularly, and i have never been so insulted before in my life. Her and that assistant manager's actions offends me and should offend upper management.In addition, i needed to get other items from your store after getting in line again, this cashier , named Manish, rudely says, oh go to check out number 5, im thinking is the line shorter, just to get over there and the line was just as long, did n he not want to serve me.There were colossal of errors and offenses done to me . I plan to escalate my concerns, in hopes, that what was done to me will never happen to another customer. Really Disheartening.
