Booked this experience for my mom (on her birthday) and my cousin joined us. My mom absolutely LOVED the experience! We all had an amazing time and plan to return for other classes. We made Shea butter, customized to our holistic health goals. Johntay and his father were absolutely wonderful hosts- full of great information; provided patient instruction, and had overall fun personalities! I recommend this to anyone looking to have a great time, and learn about essential oils, while making a lovely product that you take home with you.Thank you for making my mom's birthday evening wonderful, unique, and naturally fragrant!!!

We wandered into LIT Essentials Aromabar & Makery after lunch and found it to be fascinating! Everything was explained and we were given a demo of how the shower bombs work (the essential oils are trapped in the steam from the shower!) After leaving the beautifully boxed items in the car overnight, I discovered an essential oil wake up when I opened the car door. Lovely place. Will visit again and schedule a class to make these. Good “clean” fun for all ages.

Hands down one of my top soap & hamd/body scrub company's.The scrubs are cream based & in sure after a in store demo you'll be buying up the rack.The soaps are not only craftily scented, they are also made based on intended use.Corporate & private scent/soap/scrub etc clases available.I've been shopping here now for 2.5 years I continue to be satisfied.

If you have not been to LIT-essentials you MUST go….NOW. Talk about an experience! I took 4 ladies with me on a Saturday night on an aromatherapy journey. We thought we were just getting out for a couple hours to socialize and smell some smell goods but our time was far beyond that. Johntay the co-founder is Amazing and truly a good human. He’s very knowledgeable on aromatherapy, very passionate about educating on the proper usage and setting proper intentions to ensure you are taking care of your self! Self-care is not a luxury! It’s a necessity.I can not say enough about this place. I have taken two groups in a matter of a week and planning several more for the very near future.

Thoughtfully created products made with quality and natural ingredients. The owner is knowledgeable and provides great customer service. I bought a soap, essential oils and a diffuser over a year ago, then promptly misplaced the unopened soap. I moved recently, and found the soap today. It is just as fragrant as it was when I bought it. It was a reminder of why it my go to business for essential oils and other products.

It is easy to write about a terrible experience or product. Although I find it difficult to write about something, so overwhelmingly magnificent. I feared my words would not do this establishment justice. With friendly and knowledgeable staff, I have come to know each of them on a first name basis. Also repeated visits to purchase various bath bombs, shower bombs, bath soaks, soaps, essential oils possibly helped.Originally I only wanted to try their bath bombs, but after falling in love with the product, I branched out. Eventually I started to get my favorites, as a form soap. To this dis-satisfaction of my previous hand-made soap supplier, LIT Essentials became my one stop shop.I have yet to recommend a specific item, for variety is the spice of life. ALTHOUGH, I can definitely recommend the most memorable if not magical experience they offer. The workshop that allowed me to create my own mist, soap, with the essential oils I personally chose. It was fun, informative, and overwall an experience I would love for everyone to try.With all this being said, it still feels lacking or I'm leaving out details. Such as, you can refill your bath soaks, if you bring back the jar.So to give the TL;DRI would highly recommend, try some of their products, get to know their awesome staff.

Atlanta, you have a gem in LIT essentials! We were passing through on a weekend trip and found this wonderful place! Johntay, the owner, was so kind and helpful! He did a demo for us right in the store and we cannot wait to go home and try out our products. They have that covered too.It's a cute shop with lots to offer in way of teas, essential oils, soaps, sprays, candles and more. 1st let me say that the customer service at LIT Essentials is exceptional! Besides being drawn to the awesome smells of the essential oils that linger in and around the shop, I’ve always been greeted with warm smiles and friendly vibes. I recently purchased their shower balm and Lemon Zest & Tea Tree soap. I haven’t used the shower balm yet, BUT let me just say my bathroom is already filled with its refreshing aroma. I don’t even need to use Air Freshener because it’s just that potent. I’m considering purchasing more for the fragrance alone ☺️ When I purchased the Lemon Zest & Tea Tree soap, I was a little apprehensive about the affect it would have on my face, but now two days in- my face appears clearer and more vibrant after use. I definitely recommend shopping here and I look forward to seeing what new products they come out with.

I LOVE this place! The store is filled with incredibly made in house essential oil products. The ingredients Johntay uses in his products are top line therapeutic grade essential oils. For my diffusers I love love love the Be Calm, Welcome Sleep and In the Mood. Breathe Easy and Resurge and Refresh are awesome for my office and home gym environment!! I also highly recommend the roll ons and mists for on the go personal self care. If you are a soap lover then you must try their ultra moisturizing bars available in a variety of options. One of the coolest offerings available are their experience workshops where you can book a private party for soap or candle making.

If I could give LIT and Jontay 10 stars I would! I brought a group here for a bachelorette party and the candle making class was PERFECT. Jontay was helpful and fun through the whole planning process and made this MOH's job a breeze. He was so informative during our class and helped us all leave with products we loved. The price of tthe class was great and we got to leave with 3 products (a candle and 2 bars of soap)!!! The bride went on and on about how fun the class was and they even sent her home with a bag full of goodies!!! Plus it was in a perfect area for coffee and lunch after! I will recommend them to all of my friends and cannot wait to go back!!!

To my surprise, this place is tucked over in an area of Atlanta that I didn't expect it to be. Definitely off the beaten path for sure. On my very first visit, the young lady manning the store was very pleasant and helpful. She made a great first impression on me by making wonderful suggestions for purchases. I left with two items purchased. She was a great listener and knew just what I needed. They are a bit pricey, however I will definitely return.
