Please avoid this place if you can. This has been my pharmacy for several years and the amount of stress that they have caused me has finally come to a tipping point. I have been spoken to in a condescending tone on multiple occasions. I've been told that the pharmacists and others who work in the pharmacy do not communicate to one another. The carelessness with which this pharmacy operates is disappointing and frankly dangerous.I take a medication daily. It is on auto-refill, but I will sometimes call up a few days prior to running out just to ensure that it is being processed and that I've done my due diligence in ensuring my medication will be refilled when needed. I called this weekend and was told that the shipment carrying the medication I (and likely a great number of others) take is delayed and they are unsure of when it will arrive. I was told I needed to call again today before noon to see if it has arrived. I am now out of my medication because of something out of my control and was told that it is my responsibility to call them to see if the shipment has arrived and if it hasn't, it then becomes my responsibility to call another pharmacy and have my prescription transferred.I am a patient and understanding person. I've worked in customer service (specifically in retail) for many years and I look at every situation through the lens of someone who would be working there. In this case, I do not understand why the pharmacy is not calling their patients prescribed this medication to inform them that they will not be receiving it. Now I am late in taking my daily dose of this medication and there is a chance that the new pharmacy won't be able to fill it for up to 24 hours...This particular Kroger pharmacy does not care about the effects that medications (or not receiving medications) have on people or the fact that some people take medications as life-saving treatment. There is no sense of urgency, no apologies, and no offer of a solution.I wish I could say that this is the first time I have encountered this attitude from this pharmacy, but it is not. I could write a whole novel on the amount of trouble that I have had getting my dog's seizure medication from them over the years.All this to say that you should avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Please choose a different pharmacy.

This pharmacy is absolutely TERRIBLE. I am constantly told different information whenever I talk to them. Last time I went to pick up a prescription I was read the riot act by the woman working for not calling ahead of time to confirm they had it in stock. So today I called to ask before having my doctor send it over. The lady on the phone INSTANTLY got a tone in her voice when I explained my situation. Even when she was asking for my name and dob, she couldn’t have sounded more disgusted. She then told me there was nothing waiting for me. So I re explained the situation and that I knew I didn’t have anything waiting but was calling to make sure they had it in stock. I said there was no reason for her to have an attitude towards me when I was just going based off the instructions I had been given. I eventually just hung up because there was obviously no getting through to her or having her help me resolve my issue. I do NOT recommend this location if you want your transactions and customer service to go smoothly.

I wish I didnt have to give even one star to review this pharmacy. They screwed up my pets prescriptions she takes for seizures and told me I had already filled it 10 days previous, when in fact the bottle I showed them, showed it was filled 30 days pryor. Its a controlled medication. It wouldnt be filled 30 days pryor and then again 2 weeks after that. They argued with me that I HAD picked it up 10 days earlier when I had not and refused to fill her medicine meaning she would begin having seizures because she was out. I was told they dont make mistakes....even though they had. Clearly I was upset because I had the proof they hD madd a mistake and they refused to acknowledge they had, called security and had me thrown out and told me they would no longer fill any prescription for me. This wasnt the first time I have been treated with such rudeness and disrespect. This pharmacy staff and cashiers are trash.

The reviews are accurate. Don’t go to this pharmacy. I showed up to get a prescription and was told it would take 15 minutes. I came back to the window and was waved away because they close from 1-1:30 but she didn’t tell me that. The staff here seem bothered by customers.

Cashier Kahlia was rude. I asked a simple question about the administration of an eye ointment for a toddler. She then read the obvious one sentence summary on the front slowly, as if I was in a remedial ELA course. While not discussing the litany of warnings on the back. Not sure if the apathetic tone was ignorance or malicious, but it wasn't appreciated.

As other reviews have noted, the quality of service here has dramatically decreased over the past year or so. This Kroger is notoriously understaffed and overworked, but store employees have always been kind, and the pharmacy used to follow suit. Even when overwhelmed, pharmacy staff could still answer questions accurately and provide adequate customer service until recently. Considering that pharmacy staff are supposed to act as medical professionals, serving sick people, the lack of care and respect for their patients now is really concerning. The manner in which calls are received (or not received, or dropped, or put on hold w/o warning mid-conversation) is particularly atrocious. I don’t like spending my time writing negative reviews, but my whole household will be switching pharmacies, and management needs to step up. Treat patients better, please.

5pm on Tuesday 1 pharmacist… it’s like this every time I have come here in the last 2 months. On average a 45 minute wait to get my prescription. I keep thinking it will get better but it never does. Do Not move your meds here. Not worth it

New Glenwood Kroger! Nice, huge, vast selection... But, Kroger smh, Kroger! I purchased a prepackaged salad from here with a bug in it. Yes indeed. Did anyone reply to my call or email of complaint? Nope. Will I buy another prepared salad again? Nope. Should you? Only if u like bugs, bug juice or salmonella.Listen all you lazy semi-healthy ppl out there, (it's OK I'm one of you) just dnt buy or eat the prepackaged salads. Here or elsewhere.. but since my little pet bug came free with my purchase of salad at the new Glenwood Kroger, I decided to share my review here.

Quite a bit of incompetence. Inconsistency in expectations between doctor, patient and pharmacist. Staff I’ve encountered months ago were significantly more astute. Not sure what happened recently. Quite disappointing. I have to return because medications weren’t ready. It would have been nice to be contacted if there were discrepancies in the refills whether I’m signed up for automatic refills or not. My doctor called in medication and they were ignored. I came in person. Nothing ready. Waste of time.

This pharmacy has gone down hill dramatically in the last year. Consistently out of a common medication, poor communication that it will require ordering resulting in multiple visits, strange policy specific to that Kroger pharmacy of not automatically filling a prescription that Dr sends in because stock is low due to FDA investigation into that specific pharmacy. Drive-thru service rarely open. Assistants manning the register rude and unapologetic for inconveniences that poor communication has caused. I hate writing reviews like this but this pharmacy has cost me a lot of unnecessary trips due to how it is being managed over the last year.

If you check my history you'll notice it takes a lot for me to leave a negative review. I've used this Kroger pharmacy for some time, but will be visiting Publix down the road from now on. I needed a prescription for "magic mouthwash" filled after getting dry socket and ulcers, worst pain in my life. The kroger techs looked at me blankly and spoke with the pharmacist within earshot. They immediately said no and that they never fill "compound prescriptions". I made my case noting my dentist insisted this is what I needed but they weren't having it and suggested I "call around" to find someone who can fill it. I had gauze stuffed in my mouth and was recently numbed, but the tech was abundantly clueless.I went to Publix immediately and while they also don't usually do compound prescriptions, they understood my predicament and did the compassionate thing in filling the mouthwash mix for me.Kroger - your gang of clowns might have forgotten the hypocratic oath or they just lack empathy. Either way, I'm done with you and am warning those in my network.

I call ahead to ask if they had a medicine, they said they did, so I drove to the store to buy it. I get there and they say they don’t have it. They’re too lazy to check on the phone so they waste my time instead. I’m so pissed.

Pharmacy takes WAY too long to fill prescriptions after they’re called in. This is my third time showing up for my medicine and once again, they’re out of stock on a product that needed to be filled two days ago. Was that communicated to be before I showed up? Nope. Pharmacy never takes any responsibility for lack of communication or their blatant apathy for their customers’ health.

Glenwood pharmacy. Worst pharmacy experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been a loyal Kroger pharmacy customer for 10+ years. Customer service is terrible. Frequently(past year) that “New prescriptions are being deferred to later date due to being short staffed” though I’ve witnessed while waiting in line new prescriptions being filled while they wait. My refill of maintenance medications are being delayed every time. I request refills early and in a timely manner but I get the same line every time. Who are they supporting? 10+ year customers or no one? Definitely do NOT recommend use of their pharmacy services. Please take your business elsewhere such as Publix or CVS a few blocks away. You’ll be much happier. Their drive thru service does not exist as advertised.

Feel bad this pharmacy has such low ratings. Pharmacists here have always been kind to me and have never had an issue with my prescriptions. Only issues I've ever had is wait times but that looks to be more an under-staffing issue than an issue with the pharmacists themselves. I prefer to go to this location over the the one closest to me.

The pharmacist refused to fill my prescription because “it was too close to closing time and she had been there since 8:00am.” I had arrived 7 minutes before closing and apologized profusely for bringing in a prescription close to closing time, and I explained that I was completely out and leaving the state the next morning. I can’t get my schedule 2 prescription filled out of state- my doctor can’t even fax a new script there to be filled. I apologized again and asked her to please understand my predicament. She refused. I walked away with the pharmacy still open and no chance of getting a refill until I return from my trip in 10 days. Even though I was at fault for pushing the arrival time, I was shocked that this pharmacist refused to help a patient. For my own patients, I work extremely difficult hours and many times have helped them - even if it required a few extra minutes of time on my part. Clearly, my health was not the priority for this pharmacist on a Saturday around 6:00pm.

The level of customer service here has really taken a nose dive... This used to be a good pharmacy but now the hold times when you call are excessive. There are almost always long lines and the technicians are often barely civil. I'll be changing pharmacies in the very near future.

Leaving a 5 star review because Sierra was so kind and patient! They’ve had a history of not the kindest people working at the pharmacy but Sierra turned my whole experience around! When she was clearly busy she still took the time to help me and make sure I was taken care of!!!!! Hope she sticks around for a bit!!!!!

Really appreciate the pharmacists going the extra mile here. My insurance was cancelled due to an issue with my group policy, causing my $30 Rx to skyrocket to $600. The pharmacist went out of their way to figure out a way to reduce the cost to $400 and once the insurance issue was resolved, they refunded the difference back to my card instead of me having to submit a claim.

I transferred all my meds here 2 days after this Kroger opened. Staff is friendly, pharmacist is right there for questions, they are FAST. No issues, in fact they have gone out of their way to assist with my family's prescription needs. I can only imagine that these negative reviews are a result of irrational customers.

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have waited over an hour TWICE only to be told they cannot fully fill the prescription AFTER waiting over an hour (and of course was told it would be 20 minutes). Let me come back or have it filled elsewhere. The pharmacist has gotten me and my medication confused with another patient. Thank god I was listening closely to her directions and questioned what she was saying to me. Even after it was clear she had made a grave mistake her attitude was unapologetic and figured out a way to excuse her mistake as not her fault. As if that matters?!

I leave relatively close to this Kroger Pharmacy but it's by no means the closest. I chose it because everyone there is nice and professional and even though they may be busy- they've always tried to help me get my meds especially if they're critical ones.

Very rude pharmacist. Not just one but two of the pharmacist that directly deal with customers are so rude it is unbelievable. On top of that, 80% of the time they do not have our prescriptions filled or say our doctor didn't call it in when they did (and they have proof they did). I am just flabbergasted that they can talk down to customers or just talk down to another human being the way they do. So very disappointed and angry with the service.

They close at 8pm.I arrived at the drive through at 7:50PM and was ignored. By the time I went into the building and to the pharmacy, there was at line of 5+ people at 7:58PM.I was "asked" to come back tomorrow as the pharmacy was closed...me...yet there were still people behind and ahead of me yet to be helped.This is unacceptable.

I always get great service and communication here. Excellent pharmacy and convenient to the neighborhood. There is a drive up window (not for bicycles tho) and an adjacent nurse clinic for shots and physicals.

Superb service. The student pharmacist ( i think his name started with P?) was so helpful and attentive in making sure that all my questions were answered. Very professional and convenient when grocery shopping. Better goodrx prices than cvs.
