The prices were in my opinion higher than a larger grocery store, however they had a lot of organic items and new items that I haven’t seen at other grocery stores. The customer service was fine from what I can tell I was spoken to by one staff member. They have a deli for you to order from so I was surprised by that. Overall just wanted to go in to see how it was.

Always super friendly, helpful staff! The sweetest space. Lots of vegan desserts. A really, really good bean salad. Couldn't ask for more 😊

Truly the only Daily fresh gluten-free, organic, vegan...vegetarian offering in one location in the Classic City...on a Daily basis. Recently relocated from Cobbham area to now very near Piedmont Athens/Normaltown with expanded offerings!

Love the convenience of a truly walkable neighborhood grocer! Prices are a bit elevated but the quality of the brands they carry is top-notch. Think “high end” items at convenience prices. The pre-made section is a big draw, too, since we have Athentic Brewing literally next door so you can plan your next pairing for a fun evening out.

This grocery store doesn’t have a bathroom for customer use. Which would be fine except they sell food and drink for consumption there which makes it illegal not to. Drove 30 mins to check this place out with my 3 and 5 year old. My 3 year old had to go to the bathroom and was told they don’t have one for anyone besides employees. So had to leave and go somewhere else. Wouldn’t go back to a place who 1 doesn’t abide by the law of bathrooms to patrons and 2 doesn’t have compassion for a 3 year old!

I love shopping for bulk items here! The employees are very kind and helpful! Being able to bring my own containers and fill them up with what I need is so nice, and I love shopping locally. The dates are super yummy, and the produce is great! :)

Very nice place and very nice to have the options that it provides I get some spices by the bulk and a few other things and the quality just seems so superior to the prepackaged or chain food stores.Very nice to have the options !!!

I will be sure to never "Experience" remotely like this place.... I am not interestedin having to "take out a loan" as mentioned in a review posted... Clearly if you live in Poverty or below Poverty, you will NOT buy anything at all...

Excellent local grocery shop. Got in and out for $6, including round up for the food bank. Perfect little snack or basil pesto wrap, my favorite Reed's Extra Ginger Ale and some local Luna Bread to snack on for later. Thanks for being here! Great spot

Maybe the best co-op in the country, maybe the world, could be the universe.

SO GREAT!!! My boyfriend and I cook a lot and after our first time shopping here we will never go back to Kroger for our meat and veggies. We both agreed the meal was the best quality we had ever made. And not too expensive!!

What a neat place! My wife and I visited today for the first time and fell in love with everything about it.It's very clean and it's cozy sized. You feel good being there. The products are well thought out as in environmentally friendly and/or very healthy with no bad additives. Very helpful and friendly staff too. We will be back soon.

I love Daily and have shopped there for years. Definitely give them a visit if you're vegan. The "v'egg salad" sandwiches, chocolate energy nuggets, and hummus from their deli can't be beat. Small store and staff is always friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a store where they've really thought about each item they are selling. We like the deli items the best--the vegan sandwiches. Very happy that there are cakes made by Vernon!

This food coop provides an essential service to Athens, GA -- socially-responsible healthy natural and local foods at reasonable prices for local residents. As a member/volunteer, you can get a discount. It also provides a social hub for those interested in promoting and learning about healthy foods. This tiny co-op has been an essential food store to neighborhoods not only within walking distance, but also in surrounding counties for well over 20 years. Daily Groceries Co-Op is most certainly a jewel in the crown of Athens-Clarke County, and one of the places you should get to know well if you live here! You'll be tempted by healthy foods guilt-free!

I used to go to this grocery store all the time when I lived in Athens. I came back for a visit and had to make a stop here. They had my beloved Luna bread, honey pops (@the honey pop people: when are y'all gonna hook me up with some of those strawberry basil ones 👀), and Athena Paradiso! CC seasonal beers have a tendency to be in short supply, but Daily came through for me with this one. Well curated, great staff, good prices. They have a lot of local produce, which I love. So much food gets grown in Georgia; I feel dumb getting a sweet onion from across the country when they grow them just a few hours south. You can buy spices and certain foods in bulk here. Really nice if you're, y'know, a college student and don't want to spend $8 on a bottle of some spice you'll only use once for a recipe. I saved a lot of money buying stuff in bulk here! All in all, don't be intimidated by the co-op label. This is a really solid place.

I love this co-op!! It's a little pricey but it's very conveniently located and the staff are very friendly and happy to answer questions. They have staples in organic brands as well as some alternatives. They also have bulk grains and spices/herbs. I love shopping here!

This grocery store has a small scale, friendly neighborhood feel to it that I have never found anywhere else. Personally, I like to shop here because I want to support community stores. But on another level, Daily Groceries Coop is a one stop shop to find local organic produce as well as fair trade and renewable energy produced products. Overall, I have never been to a grocery store with such a plesant atmosphere that also has food that is undoubtedly healthy! Go give this place a try!Oh, but one thing I feel like I should mention is that the Daily Groceries Coop is not very accessable, both because it is further away from parking than most people are used to (the only legal parking spaces that I am aware of are the metered spaces downtown), and also the fact that the aisles are skinny and the entrance can be difficult to open and proceed through for some. Keep that in mind if you or friend depends on ease of access. However, if you still want to try this store out, the staff can help you get what you need; or you can send a more mobile friend or family member to go in your place. But it really is better to experience the atmosphere of this place yourself. There is no other grocery store quite like it. It just has this "Athens Made" feel to it you know!

The layout is much improved from the old location but be careful or you might mistake basil for spinach

By far the absolute rudest staff I have ever experienced before. They extremely insulting to someone trying to support a local store. I shared this with a few friends, some of which used to work there, and they said the same thing, they are extremely self righteous and disrespectful.I would rather support a larger company than have to deal with being insulted again.Definitely never going back again.

I love to walk to the co op with my son. The groceries I have bought from there have always been fresh and the store is always clean. It is however more laid back... but I don't think I have ever had a bad experience there. Dont forget to bring your own bags!

I always visit this store when I visit Athens. Kinda like stepping into Mayberry (the TV show) but healthy. I stock up on snacks and wraps for my Airbnb stay.

Perhaps not the cheapest but everything in the store is so unique! I am an outsider, visiting UGA and found this cute little store to carry everything from different selection of teas, to fresh produce, great dairy selection, grains and legumessold by the pound (great variety!), organic shampoo and soap, etc. Take a look if you're around.

A charming little grocery shop with a surprisingly extensive selection - they pack a lot into a little space! The people are lovely, and it's great to support a cooperative model, locally based store.

Cute little place to stop and get super expensive treat. It's small I get it, but don't grocery ship here unless you want to take out a loan.;)
