We recently moved to the area and we are glad that we found this grooming place! I don’t remember the groomer’s name but she was very kind. She was very comforting and let my dog have some time to adjust to a new environment (!!). She tried to understand what I wanted and tried her best to achieve that. Highly recommend especially if your dog is afraid of new environments

I’m not one to leave long negative reviews but unfortunately I feel I have to share with other dog parents about the rudeness and unkindness of the owner only (staff is pretty nice actually) and also if you have a double coated dog. I have also noticed the owner likes to call anyone with a negative review a liar and that they’re not stating facts. Well, here comes facts: Came to this place because I liked the fact that they let dogs run freely without caging and they only take a few dogs at a time. I’m a huge advocate for my dog’s well being, getting her comfortable and minimizing stress as much as possible. When I walked in for our first appointment the owner came out of a room on the back and without touching my dog she asked the groomer to feel for matting. This is a fact. My pup only had 2 knots around her ears which I was okay with cutting off. At first the owner (without ever touching my dog) said she was extremely matted and they would have to cut her entire fur off. This is another fact. Anyone with experience would know how a samoyeds fur sticks together in some areas and smoothes out very easily with the use of a slicker brush. Needless to say anyone with any sort of Samoyeds knowledge (or any similar coated dog for that matter) would know the incredible damage you could do by cutting their fur off. Facts. I felt they had never dealt with a Samoyed before. I had to state the obvious and say No to them cutting her fur off. Then, the owner said that it would take 3-4 hours and that my appointment was only 1 hour (facts!) Umm, why would you only book 1 hour after I called saying I was bringing in a Samoyed? Anyways, after the owner being incredibly rude and basically refusing to take my dog in, I had to keep calm and help her problem solve and make the wise business decision. I suggested to have them just brush her out for the entirety of her appointment and that I would bring her back for another brushing session another day before a full grooming appointment. They agreed to this and I stayed to help out with the brushing and keeping her comfortable. Facts. They charged me $100 for the brushing session. Facts and I have receipts. I dont think anyone would pay that much for a stupid brushing but I was willing to give them a chance. I even left a good tip. After her brushing the groomer said that she was almost out of any matting and to finish off at home before her next bath appointment. I did and the next appointment they did bathe her. Although in total this bath had costed me $200 plus good tips, I was happy my baby was all clean and was willing to come back (again because the staff was nice and caring). Fast forward to her next appointment I arrived 20 minutes late to my appointment and knowing I had just given birth to a baby they were rude about the fact I was late. I apologized and said I could come back later if it was an inconvenient timing. They took her in and I left. 20 minutes later they called me to say she was extremely matted again. Not true since I had spent the night before making sure she was smoothed out. I decided to go back and pick her up and not come back because I have had enough of this owner. If your reason for calling me was to upcharge me because of the extra work a Samoyed takes I would have gladly paid extra ( as I did before ) to make sure she was comfortable, but the way of them making business and not providing solutions as a Dog grooming place but instead putting roadblocks just because a “matted coat” is in front of them is not at all professional or good business practice. Hope this review helps any parents out there.

Took my dog grooming there the last time a year ago. It was the second time we took here there because the first time was a good experience. The second time, they upcharged my 10 pound dog as a “medium sized” dog and didn’t tell me that until it was time to pick her up. She was charged as a “small” dog the first time. Also added on a “matting fee” as if they brushed it out without letting me know beforehand. They buzzed her down. Which is understandable if she was matted. We give her baths at home every 3-4 weeks and brush her fur after. She is literally a small dog….spent $84 dollars for a small dog to get grooming and bath. I have receipts and I also have vet records showing she is just less than 10 pounds. I decided to review this late because I wanted to get other experiences at other grooming places first to see if this is normal. It’s not.

First time trying Doggie Bath House and I was really impressed with the service. My dog Luna hates going to the groomers and this was the first time she seemed really happy that she got groomed. They did an amazing job. I made an appointment at 9 and I got called she was ready at 11. Best of all they don't keep the dogs in cages and had given me an estimate of the time she would be done. Lisa the owner was really nice and she did a wonderful job. Andre another staff member was very nice and was really helpful when I dropped Luna off. I would definitely take her back there.

Every staff member was so sweet, Andre was very helpful. The environment is clean, and I LOVE the fact that it’s crate free! They gave my dog his cut in the exact way that I wanted and the price is GREAT for the value and quality of work! Great work for a great price AND they were done in an efficient amount of time. This place has a forever customer!

Owners were super sweet to dogs and humans. They did a great job grooming our pup. Their work was exactly what we discussed prior. Dobby's face was perfectly trimmed but keeping a lot of the length. Pricing on par with other shops in the area. Will be back.Been coming here for a few years-- these guys are the best.

Customer service is trash. Owner or manager was going to make my pregnant wife move her car because she got the spot closest to the location (for OBVIOUS reasons). Absoloutly Ridiculous. Mind you parking is on the STREET.Added to address reaponse of business:The hair of the samoyed is a thing of its own i will address. When you say this wasnt “facts”, it sure seems surprising to me to be you are able to respond so fast to a comment about parking ( which you claim isnt accurate). with something regarding the dog. You knew exactly what parking incident i am talking about and responded with an unrelated matter which i will address here.From the moment we brought our dog, the owner stepped outside and was rude, because yes Samoyeds have a lot of hair and yes there needed extra work needed to be done. Instead of being smart and professional about it (i.e, tell us you would need to charge extra) guess what? We would have completly understood and agreed to pay more. Instead of that we agree to have you guys brush her and we paid as it had been a full grooming. All with the owner walking over to make sure it gets done that way. Next time comes around, we literally brush the hair the night before and you try pull the same thing again claiming the hair is not on the right conditions, when it was. Because the truth is you didnt see grooming a Samoyed economically feasable an the way you decided to counter act that was to be rude. No, we are not calling to discuss the “facts”. Very much aware of how my wife and dog were treated.

Had an amazing experience here! I just moved to the area & needed a new salon for Maxie’s monthly baths. I can’t recommend this place enough; they did amazing. No kennels or cages, he got to roam free, toys for him to play with. Skyler was so loving & gentle towards him. The entire staff was so kind & pleasant. He clearly enjoyed his spa day. They let me know as soon as he was ready & he smelt WONDERFUL. My boy was so happy and clean, looking forward to our next visit!!!

If your looking for an awesome groomer in the area, Doggie Bath House is amazing. The owner Lisa, groomed my pet toy Poodle and did the best job ever! My dog usually comes home stressed after being groomed, and today she was perfectly content. They do not crate your dog while your dog is there and therefore makes the dog feel like they are just there for a nice visit. The actual haircut was perfect and she smelled terrific! I do not regret my decision to bring my toy Poodle to this business. Thank you Lisa and Andre! You guys are the best!

My cocker spaniel needed a good grooming after having done his grooming for the past year or so. He doesn’t like his feet being touched at all so I couldn’t ever get his paws or nails done myself. Thankfully he loves running and he kind of wears down his own nails.Decided to try a new groomer after mine moved further away and was I so please with the service at Doggie Bath House. He looked great and smelled amazing! Couldn’t ask for a better service! Would highly recommend them!

I’ve been bringing my little yorkie mix here for several months and love Doggie Bath House! She’s a little old lady now and a little spicy about being groomed, but the staff is all so sweet with her. She’s always happy at pick up, and I love that they give individual attention, no drying cages, not stuck in a kennel for hours. Could not recommend this team more highly!

Absolutely love Doggie Bath House! The customer service is amazing! The staff is so friendly and inquisitive with what we wanted for our dog. They made me feel comfortable and confident leaving my dog with them. It’s always hard going to a new dog groomer, but they were amazing in helping us determine what we wanted and then following through on everything. They were prompt to call me as soon as they were done and left us feeling grateful for nice, friendly people who actually care for dogs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog groomer! We definitely will be going back regularly!

First time going to Doggie Bath House and we will definitely be coming back! They did an amazing job with our English Cocker Spaniel today. He’s an energetic little guy, but they were able to groom him to perfection. We drove 40mins just to come here and we will gladly continuing making the drive. Can’t say enough great things about this place!

Our fist trip to Doggie Bath House was wonderful. We had our boy get a full groom, he looks amazing and had a great time. The staff was so friendly and took such great care of our dog. We love the fact that they do not crate the dogs, our boy doesn’t do very well with that so he was very grateful. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this wonderful little spot.

Winston is a happy puppy!! He got a puppy cut and looks great! I dropped him off to Miss Lisa, and she spoiled him. Such a great experience, they did a great job!! We’ve had bad experiences with different groomers in the past and so it was really nice to find a groomer who listened to what we wanted and made our puppy look so great. A very friendly staff as well. We will definitely be coming back!
