My husband and I have visited this store for many years, always enjoying the customer service and getting our little/big ones food and toys there when we’re in the area. But this year has been different for us, as we just found and brought home our new little forever love, our new ferret, Po❤️ We came into the store on Jan 3 to look around and randomly decided to play with him, came back on the 7th to do the same, and then again in Feb. Each time we played with him Mariah helped us and let us love on him, she was so gentle and loving with him, it showed! He was the sweetest ferret we’ve ever encountered, and she let us bond with him, and we’re incredibly grateful!!!! We weren’t ready to get him at the time, but absolutely loved him…and fast forward to a few days ago and couldn’t believe he was still there, makes us think he was waiting for us, or visa versa☺️ I’m SO incredibly excited to say that we got him!!! Alex was awesome on our fourth visit, and we picked him up the next day, and the staff was amazing!!!! I just want to say a huge thank you to the everyone who helped us get him, but a big/HUGE thanks to Mariah, as I feel like she gave him the love and kindness and guidance for us all to come together!!!! Can’t get enough of his sweet kisses, and know that’s no doubt because of her !!! I can’t wait to give to give him so much love, as we already have, and will continue to go to this location to for all his needs!!! Thank you for loving and caring for him, we feel so grateful and excited to spoil our little panda ferret, Po❤️

Very easy to find what you need. Friendly staff. I have purchased 2 rabbits and 2 teddy bear hamsters... Sometimes I just stop but to see what new pet they have. Personally I like this place better than Pet Smart

Be sure to call ahead to verify they have items in stock. On a recent visit, the two items I wanted to purchase were not in stock.Also the growing plant greens were dead.$10 water spray bottle (Can be found at Publix nearby the store) and watering every other day would address that.I'll stop back by to check stock and plants .... One day...

Went to checkout the self serve dog wash station, and it was definitely worth a visit. For $10 shampoo, conditioner, and towel come included and the area was very clean and well stocked. I also liked that there was the option for warm water and not just cold.

I love this place! Pet Supermarket carries fish that the other pet stores can't get ahold of. Plus, they'll expertly help you create a beautiful tank. Best of all, the store is quite spacious, leaving plenty of room for you and your animal buddy!

I was in there last week and the manager, Brittany was super rude. She was behind the counter sitting and I walked up to ask a question, she then called for another employee while she sat behind the computer. Why couldn't she just help? Then when I came back to checkout, she kept pushing for me to buy extra treats, I kindly said no thank you and she kept pushing it on me, she made me very uncomfortable. Other then that, the store is beautiful and the other girl manager there is OUTSTANDING!!! We only come back because of her. She really does an amazing job and is very kind and helpful.

*Allison at Winter Park*My Pet Supermarket is in Lake Nona, on the other side of town from this Winter Park location, however a store employee was covering a shift at my location today. I called about a product I desperately needed for my mischief of 6 rats. It’s a product hard to find, and without knowing, she went above and beyond to get me the information I needed. She even held the product behind the counter for me to pick up later, knowing I had children and couldn’t arrive at that very moment. She deserves to be recognized for her outstanding customer service. I have been in this industry for over 25 years and I know an outstanding employee when I see one! Thanks Allison!!

Allison was in the back with the fish tanks, came and started looking at the fish options to add to my tank, she was an absolute rockstar, knew everything I needed to know gave me the offer to special order fish, has good Knowledge around the entire winter park location. Absolutely has all my business for my pets needs and if you’re a fish tank enthusiast make sure you at least speak with her. She’s an absolute rockstar thank you Allison for such a amazing experience in something as simple as a pet store. With pet supermarket having a team member like her no wonder pet land is going out of business. Give her a raise ASAP!!!

We had prior experiences that were positive with store associates but today we had an AWFUL experience with store manager. I was told by phone that we could get a store credit since our two fish immediately died within 24 hours after picking them up from this store. I took my son who was eager to meet his new friends, and grieving the loss of his fish. The manager said no, that wouldn't happen because they have a policy. I asked about such policy and understood. However, from a customer service perspective, the customer is usually right and the manager should seek solution and accommodate based on the fact that I was misinformed by their employee. I then requested to buy new fish, rather than getting credit. The manager told me that she can't sell fish to me if they are dying, it could be my tank. She wanted me to return to my house, get the water and come back. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? We are also in the middle of a pandemic! All of this over two tiny tetra fish and I was being denied to shop for new fish.This is absolutely ridiculous. They lost us as customers and we shopped there quite a bit. We found another fish store, with beautiful clean tanks and have our new little fish friend "Little Bit" swimming happily ever after.

I went in your store today. With an pump filter issue. I believe the Manager Allison helped me. I was amazed by her knowledge of aquariums and fish. She explained to me I was using the incorrect filter. She was so helpful I decided to buy more fish and definitely will use this store again. Now I do not have to drive to the other side of Orlando to make purchases.

I have bought all of my fish and a lot of the treatments for my tank here. Certain members of the staff are very knowledgeable. Whilst there fish and plant selection are affordable, and I like that they perform free water tests, Amazon is much more affordable in terms of chemicals and anything else you might need for your tank.

Recently, they’ve been understaffed. I visited today and there were a lot of dead fish and the ones that were already there looked stressed. Brought it up upon check out and the person said they clean it in the morning and at night. That’s great but makes me wonder if the quality of their fish tank water is the root cause. Their betas for sale all had soiled water. I always shop here but will probably not purchase fish in this location.

Bought some corey cat fish and some snails and they're doing great. They love their new tank and are thriving. One did pass away but that could have been from a number of things. Their fish and tanks seem well taken care of and they have a pretty awesome selection. Fun and friendly associates. Will be back.

Really helpful staff. Never had to wait too long to get help. I found them to be extremely knowledgeable about fish. They have price match guarantee and have never given me problems with it. Lots of promotions and coupons, too.

Was very disappointed today. Normally the staff here is great and friendly. The blonde girl who works there is very rude. When you are in a customer service job it is your duty to be polite no matter what. Her arrogance and rudeness sets a tone that is unwelcoming. It's a shame because I've been going to that pet store for years and now I have no desire to go back because of the treatment I received.

The manager offered to sell me a container of worms for our dragon at 20% off after I asked why it had about 12 worms in a 50 count container. She said that's all she could do. Makes no sense but I understand she was catering to the company process, and not the customer. So many corporations miss the point by not empowering their store employees. She wasn't even nice about about it. I would not have even asked for the discount if it wasn't for the shortage on worms and crickets.

This particular pet supermarket is awful (on aloma in Winter Park). I think it really comes down to one plus sized lady assistant store manager (don't know name). We have been setting up fish tanks and regularly need supplies and this is the closest pet store to our house by far. My wife went there to get something for the fish and the transaction rang up wrong to what was posted. This manager gave my wife so much grief getting a simple $1 refund that it left a sour taste in our mouth, but I always give places a second try. A month later I went there to get a test kit for our tank. Petco had it on sale for $25 and pet supermarket sold it normally for $30. The first associate said they could match price no problem. Then this assistant manager comes to adjust the price and informs me she won't match sale prices. The online policy says they won't match clearance, close out or flash sales. This was none of that. But she refused. I left without buying it. I will drive an extra 10-15 mins to avoid this mess. Stay away.
